Overall I think this is a great computer for the price. The sound quality is great and I am a big fan of the touchscreen. My only issue is the battery life which only lasts about 3 hours. For the price, I can't complain.

I love that it flips all the way open and you can use it as a tablet with a full version of windows. Still not crazy about Windows 8. It's SO different from all other versions of windows it needs a user manual.

Ever since I started to see the ads for 2-1 laptops, I have wanted one. But with a starting price over $300, it just wasn't in my budget. I was excited when I decided to search through the Best Buy site to see what they had and found this refurbished HP 2-1 for under $300. There has been one glitch with sometimes characters typing themselves into the login box when I first open the computer, but that has been the only issue. The laptop runs very well and it serves all of my needs from blogging and writing to watching videos.

Good little notebook for stationary use. Don't tap it too hard on either corner near the hinges cause you will surely break it. Also any pressure at all while it is closed on the lid will pressure crack the screen. Not very durable to say the least but super nice if you don't plan to take it anywhere

very fast and responsive. starts up quickly. battery can be better. perfect for watching movies by connecting it to the tv via hdmi. has built in mirroring capability with roku.

Good build quality but very slow even though it has 4GB of ram. The screen does fold backwards completely and is touch screen but the slow processor bogs it down. Not very heavy but not ultra light weight either.

I picked this up as a Best Buy refurbished machine after using one my son had recently purchased. For the money this is a great machine for carrying around and doing web surfing, e-mail and light productivity. It is light and relatively fast. I pulled out the original 500 GB hard drive and installed an SSD and it is much faster than stock. I couldn't be happier. A co-worker purchased an identical machine after seeing mine.

I have to be honest, I have returned this and bought a new one for my wife. The laptop "squeeked" from when it was opened during the refurbishment. I just felt it wasn't the greatest quality. I have bought refurbished items in the pat and will continue to do so. Every now and then, they aren't perfect enough to keep. But with Best Buys great, hassle free return policy, I took it back and bought my wife a new HP similar to the refurbished one.

you get what you pay for and this was not impressive. I bought it because I went from 2gb ram to a 4gb ram thinking it would be faster and boy was I wrong. I had a Lenovo 11 with 2gb ram with the same processor as this and it is faster then this

The only cons are it's heavy and it takes a while to turn on

It is a bit slower than I anticipated for a windows 8.1 machine, however it is great when using as a tablet without multiple processes. The price was the selling point.

Excellent laptop for the price. The computer is versatile and sturdily built. The keyboard is a comfortable size. The laptop's battery life, however, is not quite as advertised. I only got 3-4 hours.

Excellent functionality for light to medium productivity. Easy to set up and use. Compact and light.

Great Item - although I had to get use to windows 8 (not a big fan), it was well worth it to get this great deal. Light weight, good size, easy to handle. Just know that It does not come with Windows Office or any other like software.

Purchased two of these computers for both my wife and I as our previous computers were rather old. (Vista) Window 8 was a little challenging at first but we both are doing quite well now. The size and flexibility are a plus. Either the keyboard or touch screen. Very fast and quick. Battery life is well.

Light. compact and powerful computer with a touch screen for less than you can buy a firearm. Way cool.

I bought this laptop for my wife to use for everyday work and online streaming. I have been pretty satisfied other than some slow startup issues that went away after the mass of MS updates that were required before I was able to upgrade to Windows 10. It has been reliable and has offered good battery life. I was concerned about getting a refurbished laptop but my concerns were quickly put to rest after about a month of use. Overall a good choice and good price.

Even though the laptop came with no booklet it was pretty easy to set up and it is great for just surfing the web

Item was refurbished. Everything functioned as it should. Little heavy. Bad viewing angles, but very responsive screen.

My laptop is wonderful it does have some minor malfunction but that's to be expected It's refurbished
