Laserjets provide the best output at the cheapest price for the longest time. If you don't know all the reasons, just take my word for it maybe? This one is working great. Color lasers are great too, but there is a big price jump and most people don't need color. I have a color laser at the home office, but recommended and installed this one for my mom. She uses the copier and scanner too.

I needed a scanner and printer. So I selected this model because I wanted laser printing. The printing speed and quality are excellent. What I really like and is great is the document feeder. The only downside I could not get the direct wireless from computer to printer to work. I didn't have a network available to use. Otherwise a great printer and scanner. I did not use the fax

We are snowbirds who live in Arizona during the winter. In the summer, our AZ house is empty and not air conditioned. During the summer, the inkjet printer we have here dries up its cartridges and ruins the print heads. I've purchased less expensive printers (three in four years), expecting to replace the printer every year. This year, I decided that I can forego color and for the same price as a mid-level ink jet, I can get a laser printer. I'm hoping that the toner-based system won't have issues with high temps in the summer. We'll see. Only negative to this printer is the scanning software isn't as capable as that with the 8500 and 8600 series ink jet printers that are my favorite. Scanning from the printer is not possible. You must load the item to be scanned and then initiate scanning from the computer, a minor annoyance.

I have been looking at many printers and I find the ink is very expensive and you are required to buy colors you do not want. I chose the Laser Printer because I print mostly in black. Dollar for dollar this was the most economical printer and the best on the market. The laser ink will last much longer when I use black ink only.

What an awesome Printer! My husband was able to easily set up the wireless portion and now I am able to print from anywhere in the house! Its simple, easy to use and prints a nice clear copy! I love it!

The printer is really good for the money. The pages print out quick and are still hot when they come out of the printer (like in the 90's bruh!) the only thing (and I made this mistake because I didn't read the box) it does NOT PRINT IN COLOR :) ha!

I got this for the business I work at. It has worked for the past 50+ days fine. I usually always try to get HP printers so that the toner cartridges are the same on some models. This model isn't speedy scanning, but prints fairly well. The copier also works fine. No complaints.

I bought this printer because my color printer would not print in black unless it used color cartriges to do so. (In the past you could do this, but no longer). Also, and this would anger anyone, if one color ran out, it would not print at all. You had to replace that color. Does this make sense......only if you are in the business of selling ink. Now you know how business works. And the ink drums/roller costs about $ 60.00, as does 1 black and 3 color cartridges. The drums do not dry up like the cartridges do.

I use it for the OATS Co. I work for. A transportation Co for the elderly and handicapped to make copies for sending via mail and/or fax other info directly to their office. It is a wonderful piece of equipment. Thank you, Geme.

If you do not need color and like laser quality and speed this is the best multi function machine. Document feeder is awesome. Speed and quality is good. Only drawback a couldn't get the direct to print wireless function to work without a wireless network.

Alot of nice features in a good price. I would have given 5 stars, but as long as hp designs new toner cartridges for every printer (the old ones are useless) they will never get 5 stars.

I bought this all in one wireless printer with my HP Envy desk top. The set up was very easy and the wireless connection is great. Using this all in one is great it copies, scans, and fax like a breeze. I purchased it on sale and expect years of easy use.

Works well most of the time. Sometimes AirPrint doesn't work. However, I like HP printers. They seem to be overall reliable. My previous all in one laser printer (HP) lasted 10 years.

I can scan, copy, and print like I need to. Since I don't need color printing and am tired of paying the high price for ink, this product was a great choice for my needs and fit the pocket book well!

This printer works great. It is wireless & prints quickly. Since it prints in just black & white, it will save us a lot of money on ink. And with it being a laser printer, the ink does not expire. Set up was easy. We are very happy with this purchase.

Great printer and very fast. Toner cartridge won't make you go broke. I get about 1700 pages from one cartridge. Only downside to this printer is you have to manually feed printer to print on both sides. Get printer for the money.
