Printer is quick & quiet and easy to set up. Surprisingly, there are very few steps to place it in operation. This is the best printer I've purchased for our home to date.

I installed printer, but couldn't quite see how to make it duplex print. I called the HP service line, I got expert help and a person that spoke English as his primary language!! Not only did he fix my problem, but noticed that I didn't have the scan to e-mail set up yet and did that for me. Then he called me back a day later to make sure everything was working okay. Left me a number to call back if I needed extra service. I feel like I hit the lottery. I have never had such good service on a product. Not only the above, but the printer works great, starts fast, and is quite when printing and when it is in the waiting to print mode.

Fast, accurate colors, great printer. Great for scanning docs and printing color presentations. Only had this printer for a couple of months, so we shall see. Upgraded from an inkjet. Only thing is that it keeps coming out of sleep mode on its own. Sort of annoying.

On line sale and rewards coupons gave me a great purchase price and the unit shipped quickly without damage. Print quality is excellent and print speed is fast. Scan and fax functions also work very well. My only complaint is a significant one, and that is the short life of the 410A toner cartridges. Within 3 months, I had to replace all the cartridges. I am not too surprised about the black toner cartridge, but I print very modestly in color and I was very disappointed that the color cartridges ran out so quickly. Hopefully, I will get more bang for the buck with the 410x cartridges, which are supposed to give you more than twice as much printing for less than twice as much cost. Just buying the 410A cartridges costs more than the price of this all in one unit. So, if you do a lot of black/white printing and even just a modest amount of color printing, you will be re-buying this unit 4X/year.

Does everything is says it does, however when printing a document that contains both letter and legal size pages, it pauses to "clean" in between printing the new size. I print documents that may be 200 pages where the first 9 pages are letter, the next 6 pages are legal and repeat. This makes printing a document take a ton of time. Previous HP's that we have had were seamless in this transition and wouldn't take the extra time.

Sometimes you get lucky with finding a great replacement product! My Samsung All-in-One got broken while in their store for repair and the Geek Squad guy said they would replace it with something similar because of their new replacement program. What a pleasant surprise. And his recommendation for this HP printer was beyond my expectations. Fast, high-res color printing along with clean sharp scanning make this an excellent product . Easiest laser I've set up in years. Thank you, Best Buy!

We both work out of the home and print a lot of pages this keeps up with the demand

I have owned more costly HP color laser jet printers in the past that have left me wanting, this printer at a third the cost has exceeded all my expectations. It’s fast it’s quiet and so far trouble free. Works well on my network with a mixture of Win7 win10 IOS and Android devices with some working over Ethernet and others over wireless.

This is a very nice printer for my home office. It prints fast, warms up fast. The fax works just fine as does the scanner. I highly recommend this printer. am very satisfied with this printer. It has a very short warm up time and automatically prints on both sides of the paper. Also, the document feeder scans both sides of the page at the same time. Very impressed!

Great printer/scanner. But I bought 3 of these and all were missing the power cable, and one was also missing all 4 toner cartridges. Once it is setup and working, there is nothing better that is less than a $1000.

I bought this printer before I realized that it was not wireless, so I returned it and replaced it with the m477fdw, which I believe is the same printer, but with wireless added. Therefore my rating is based on my experience with my m477fdw, which I like very much. Regarding the "recommend to a friend" box below, I will say yes, provided the "friend" understands it is not wireless, otherwise, I would definitely order the m477fdw.

I bought this machine to replace a color laser printer and an inkjet printer. I am very satisfied with this printer. It has a very short warm up time and automatically prints on both sides of the paper. Also, the document feeder scans both sides of the page at the same time. Very impressed!

I absolutely love this printer. It was easy to set up and easy to use. It is fast and has great features for the $. Haven't figured out how to print Landscape with MacOS operating system. Maybe an issue - they say they are working on it. Other than that it is flawless.

We have several MFP m477fdn devices in place. It is easy to setup and configure for network printing and scanning. The only time I have had issues is when using generic cartridges

So far everything I've attempted with this machine has exceeded my expectations. Fast, clean, not too complicated to operate, excellent resolution.

I replaced my 15 year old Color LaserJet Printer and stand alone scanner for this All in One, and its been great so far. Everything that I have tried works great so far. Scan, Copy Print (Network & Phone), but have not used the fax. I've also used the Duplex feature, which is what I wanted most! Great to have if you print a lot of pages and want to save paper by using both sides.
