Received this in a special package deal with my new HP Omen computer. Had no intention of purchasing, however, after trying these out, it's quite amazing. Requires some tinkering in Win 10 and other software to get them working, but once they are going, it's a whole new experience.

I was really surprised at how good this VR headset performed. Content for mixed reality is getting better now that Steam VR supports it.

Good quality VR for the price, image is clear, tracking is accurate, and all without setting up entire room with multiple equipments. Two draw backs: a little bit too heavy for extend using; and controllers are not going be tracked beyond the build camera view angles. Overall, a worthy device if you just want to experience the VR world.

First one was bad - replaced no problem - Took a while up USB 3 issues Bought a Hub got it working no time Interesting. Great product.

So the device and the controllers themselves are rather sturdy. But the headset is not compatible with any real games worth while. Basically you can only play shovel ware garbage through the microsoft store. It functions just fine. There just isnt anything to function with it.

I am really impressed with the headset. But, be prepared to spend some time tweaking the settings and components in your computer. I ended up installing a radeon rx580 card. I started out with a nvidea 1050 and it just couldnt keep up with the more complex games. the rx 580 runs everything at high quality on my system.

I love this headset, it is so cool. However I have a few downsides to it, the band around your forehead starts to hurt after a while since you need to have it tight, also you don’t find as many games to be compatible for this as others but I still love it.

I got this for free for buying the HP Omen PC. I gave it to my friend for Christmas and he has fallen in love with VR. I'd look into the Rift over this headset though. It's a better investment.

Okay let me start by saying this is not as good as the HTC or the Oculus....or is it? You have the ability of using all of the download content from both platforms (HTC VIVE and OCULUS RIFT). Its easy to set up and there are less cables. FOV might not be as good as the two main competitors but overall I would have to take this above the others. Pros: Price Easy to use Ability to use content from other major platforms Cons: Can get a bit uncomfortable after extended use.

works ok, but too blurry, I asked my son and some of my friends that's also what they said, i'm sure in the near future Microsoft will solve the prob, I think they released it too soon. I returned it and bought a vive, 200 more but worth it.

The view really makes you feel like you are in the scenery. The home screens are a bit blurry but otherwise the picture is great. I had a small short in mine but hasnt been a problem

I got this free with my PC and it is a great entry level vr rig. I like the fact that I do not need any base stations. This is setup in my living room and it's really simple to plug and play and out it away when not in use. The windows mixed reality had come a long way. If you are looking for a cheap good vr headset this is it. I will say it is a little bit uncomfortable because there is no strap on the top of your head.

This vr has so much potentiall.. cant wait till it gets to its full potential.. git hooked up with vr steam. So much games. Finally immersed...

I got a packages deal from Best Buy which I was really happy about. $700 for both a gaming PC and VR set. You cannot ask for a better price than this. Good job Best Buy.

I already have Ocucus Rift, so this headset pales in comparison. It’s a fine set, but with Rift’s lower price point, it’s better to go with that set unless you can find this on a really good deal.

This HP mixed reality headset is fun, but the Field of View is a bit limited and sometimes certain scenes can look a bit unfocused.

Got it with the HP PC during Black Friday. Would not recommend it to people. Especially, for people with glasses, please forget this set.
