Pros: I love the fact this all-in-one has so many features including the option to store information on its internal hard drive with Neat. Although, this frees space on my computer hard drive, I still back up my files to the cloud as an extra precaution. It prints from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone and laptop with no problem and quite fast. Print to Email feature is also a plus. The printer also takes up very minimal space for a printer with a feeder. Cons: Prints double-sided, however, you have to re-feed it back through the printer. Cool Features: The extra lip on the paper feed automatically pops out when it's about to print a document. The internal printing software allows you to automatically print calendars, horoscopes, and other useful documents daily/weekly and edit pictures (very basic editing like enhance, crop and rotate) before printing.

I Love My Hp Printer with Neat, This price was reasonable, It print is so crisp, The Wireless works better than I thought it would, My Wife and I found it was easy to run!!!! No problems so far, but I don't plan on anything to happen now or in the future. Did I say that HP hit a Homerun with this printer. Very Happy Camper...

I love that this is a wireless fax, copier. And sorter all in one. It's also compact in size. The only concern I have is that the ink for the carriages need to be replaced quite frequently but this machine is perfect for our business

I purchased this to replace my HP 3510 that I gave to my son. I was in the market for a NEAT desk scanner and was super excited to find out HP had this combo product. The printer works great, as does the fax and copy function, however, I am slightly underwhelmed with the NEAT scanner function. It may be that I have not had enough practice with those functions yet, but so far it does not perform anywhere nearly as well as my dads stand alone NEAT desk unit.

The HP OJ 8040 is the best printer if you catch it on sale like I did for 50% off the other day. Pros: The options are endless, and it has the best copier resolution at 600 x 600 dpi, B & W printer resolution @ 1200 x 1200 with color @ 4800 x 1200, and scan @ 1200 x 1200. Double-sided 125 page paper print out, and wireless network connection. Software installation is straight forward, and I didn't opt for the fax function. Paper sensor is touchy to determine if it has paper in tray. Cons: The Neat option has a free 30-day trial offer, but it requires a monthly fee, afterwards. So, the 1TB hard drive that comes with the printer doesn't do much good without the Neat subscription. As usual, having to buy the printer ink cartridge refills is a pain, and only one color cartridge.

I bought this printer because it had Neat. Neat doest work on desktop. You need to use Neat Cloud and you have to have Internet access for that. I understood about been able to scan 45 pg per month on the Neat Cloud for free, but I was under the impression that I was going to be able to use it on my desk top. Now I am stuck with an expensive printer and I can not use Neat to organize my papers which was the selling point for me. Printer otherwise great. If u can use Neat Cloud I would recommend it. Otherwise NO.

Good printer with easy setup. NOTE: tray 2 will only work with Photo paper. Printer seems to be optimized for the home photo printing user. Not so much for home business. (They have better choices for that crowd.) Scans and fax quality are typical for this class of scanner, no complaints. In short, you won't regret your purchase, give it's targeted customer.

I really like this printer. It was easy to set up and is easy to use. It doesn't seem to use as much ink as my old printer. I love the Neat Desk feature - my desk is much cleaner and more organized.

I review about 15 different printer and I keep going back to HP ever time I personally Like Hp's Computers and printers. I Picked 8040 Printer becuz it the best one bange for our buck. You can print wireless from my Iphone and Ipad and it was very easy to operate.

This is a great printer that does everything well from printing pictures to web content to scanning receipts to Neat. The copier and Fax machines are also great at doing their jobs I would recommend to anyone. It is also good on ink.

Love printing from my IPhone & IPad. It 's a little slow to start printing, but printout looks very good.

This is the best printer I have ever used. easy to setup and add to your network. Very good network printer can scan and copy over your entire network

Excellent print quality! Great wireless network capabilities, for anything on the same network. It did take me to task on the setup, but HP support walked me right through it. Getting HP support is the hardest part.

Main reason I purchased this printer was for Neat Receipt. Since I didn't already have a printer, I went with this combination. It has been a fantastic decision! It is easy to get things to sync up to the Neat Cloud
