A little bigger than I was expecting, but the set up was easy and I am happy with the quality of printing and ease of use. The wireless works great!

This product arrived in a day after the order was placed - fantastic job by the online staff. The printer itself is very shiny, almost to the point where you don't want to touch it. And you don't have to - it is web enhanced and works great with or without USB interface. If you're one of those techy types, you can print out a document from your smartphone or from any web connected printer with nothing but a password. Now that's technical.

I needed a replacement printer for my old HP, which lasted over 8 years, so I trust the brand. I did the research on the HP - Officejet Pro 8100 Wireless ePrinter and found it had everything I wanted. It will print heavyweight paper (24lb and photo), double sided, wireless capable and I also checked out the ink quantity and price of ink. (That is where they usually get you!) It more than met my expectations! I'm glad that I made the purchase!

We bought this printer to replace an aging dot matrix printer in that was used in our parts warehouse. After seeing how much ink costs for our laser printers in the main office we bought a larger version of the officejet Pro 8600 and have been very happy with it and ink is cheap to replace and we go through a ton of paper. So we decided to replace the warehouse printer with the smaller version of the Officejet Pro 8600 and it works like magic and has already reduced wait time for the printer to spool up and ink costs vs our laser in the main office... think the laser is next to go with its $150 ink replacement costs....ahhhhh!

A friend told me how difficult it was to set up a wireless printer. Certainly not with this printer. The connection was easy with my 6 year old laptop. Two weeks later I bought a new desktop and again, the connection was unbelievably easy. In fact, it was automatic with the new computer! The print quality is good. It's fast and it works well. I haven't replaced the ink yet so that may be an issue. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't like to fool with complicated electronics and just wants a printer for personal use.

I am very impressed with this printer. The color quality and print detail of the photos I have printed seem to equal the machine prints I have received from photo processors. The only thing that disappoints me is the lack of the on-screen menu options I had with my old HP 7310 Photojet. From that menu I was able to instruct the printer to clean and/or align the print heads. With this printer I have to go into the PC and pull up an HP options menu. As my friend is fond of saying - Oh Well! It is still a great printer for the price.

Only one thing I had to get used to: If the printer is not used for a day or so, it powers down ... so when attempting to print, it must first be powered up.

This printer replaced one not iPad compatible. Bought it on sale which made it even a better purchase. It works great. Print is clear. Color excellent. Can't go wrong.

I got this printer because i was tired of replacing a CMY cartridge that was only low on one color. I was hoping that the wireless function would make my life easier, but after struggling with it for several hours - including needing to uninstall and reinstall just to get the darn thing to communicate with USB, i have gone back to using it with the connection. Some day with more patience and more sleep, i may try it again. I do like that the print quality is good and the printing time is fast. Down side - it won't print on heavy stock - even stock that is sold for 'InkJet Printers'.

Printers are one of the few products that you do not necessarily want the lowest price even if it is a good name brand. You see, you buy the printer once and then buy ink over and over and a complete set of ink might be more cost than the printer. So I shopped around and this one was considered very good at saving ink. The only problem is there is no copier/scanner so I had to buy another printer. You can choose which to use for what.

I had purchased a more expensive HP printer due to this one not being available at the time and then once it was able to ship and I com paired the two of them printing the exact same photo - the result showed me that this unit actually printed a better quality image but it was a tad bit slower. Speed is not an issue for me so all in all this is a great printer for the money

I must have been under the sun too much or something. Why I wanted a printer that just print is beyond me. I have printed maybe 8 to 10 pages and want to take it back but I think it's past time to do so, this has made me NOT HAPPY. Printing is fine, why a printer comes without copying wow, that's all there is too this guy!

Setup was easy. HP pushes its extra software and support, as well as that of its partners,too hard, but you just have to be sure to uncheck the appropriate boxes. (If I wanted to use Bing, I'd have set it up long ago!) I don't use ePrint. We always have one of our networked computers on, and we store our data in the cloud. So ePrint just gets in the way.

I use this printer around the house a few times a week and considering the price, it has surpassed my expectations. It's definitely not the smallest or most lightweight piece of equipment, but it has a nice, sleek look and is actually a pretty quiet printer. Print quality has been great and so far, it does not seem to use too much ink. Overall, this seems to be a nice printer, at least for light household use.

really nice printer, prints fast, many options and well worth the money

I've printed many many Etsy orders and ink level is still full. Even in draft mode invoices and shipping labels look good. Have not tried for photos but did not buy this printer with photos in mind. Use with desktop computer and had no difficulties whatsoever setting up wireless printing for laptops in other area's of the home. Bought an extra set of new cartridges from ebay so I can use re-fill ink when need to.

Purchased this after bringing back another cheaper printer. Like this one a lot. Much higher quality.

Fantastic copier... Great product, quiet and fast, reliable.

I recommend for easy of use and setup. Prints great. No problems.

I am very satisfied with this printer for my use which is all personal. I am taking a class so I do print from my laptop and my IPad which is why I bought this model. I can't say how it would be in another setting but it's just what I need.
