It does great with pictures on regular paper but not so much on photo paper; however, I didn't buy it to print on photo paper. This machine handles heavy stock paper, envelopes and legal size paper and it has two paper trays. Tray 2 holds a ream of paper and I use tray 1 for envelopes and heavy stock paper. I like to make my own greeting cards and I like to archive paper documents to digital files with the scanner. The automatic document feeder works great for making color or black-and-white copies and it also works great for scanning multiple pages to one file and sending it directly to a USB drive, your computer, or to an email address. It isn't a laser printer but the quality, as I see it, is just as good. The cartridges are high capacity and won't send me shopping too frequently. Since my use is primarily home use, I probably won't have to replace the ink cartridges for a long time. For business, well that depends on how wasteful you allow the employees to be. It's a great machine. I highly recommend it.

This was so easy to set up, love the wireless feature. My bosses came by my office saw the printer which was a smaller one than they told me to purchase. BUT WHEN I went online to purchase they unit they wanted me to, I FOUND THIS ONE, and just my luck was on SALE!!! Paid hundreds less. They were impressed enough to tell other members in Florida to purchase same model. They did, but 2 weeks later was no longer on sale. When leaving store General Manager asked them how their service was, they explained printer they wanted was no longer on sale and they needed to purchase two of them - they went with smaller model. WELL, GENERAL MANGER asked them to wait while he researched - THEN GAVE THEM SALE PRICE FOR BOTH PRINTERS!! IN MY OPNION BEST BUY THE THE BEST!!!! Thank you~ C

Love it! Love It! Love it! We are so pleased to have found this printer. We have only had it for a little over a month, but we couldn't be happier. Of course the test will come when we have to replace the print cartridges. We were so tired of always having to buy more cartridges for our Dell printer. After reading the reviews, it sounds like the print cartridges for the HP Office Jet Pro 476dw last quite a long time. The printer is fast, easy to use, and simplistic in design and operation. A huge thanks to Best Buy and to HP's product.

We ordered this product after a recommendation from our IT person, we have been so happy with the speed of an ink jet and the quality is fabulous. It is working like a champ on everything that is sent to it. Very easy to install as well.

Out of the box easy to setup and get running. Wireless has not had any problem even with pictures. Set up HP print application in a few minutes to all my devices in the house. Could easily setup family to my printer to long distance relatives to share pictures if I wanted to. Lots of features and no issues at all. Printer is an ink jet but the ink is lasting as promised.

Purchased this printer for a small home office and for personal use. We have been using it for 2 months now and are extremely satisfied. It does everything I need it to do as well as I had hoped it would. Only a few little things with non important functions. Wish it would upload my contact list from my google acct. But otherwise great.

I bought this printer recently for my small business. It is so fast for us, so much more than my other one. Only considered an HP Printer. I checked around and priced them out and found this to be exactly the one I needed.. I am very pleased with it! It holds a whole ream of paper so we can keep printing without worry of running out soon.

The color quality is excellent, I use it for printing photos and office docs. Easy wireless connection lets everybody in my house use it for IPads/IPhones and laptop PC,s. It also very fast for large print jobs.

I was looking for a printer to use for my home-office, and this printer was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for printing long reports, and the ink savings are really nice too.

I think its overpriced but a good printer. Low cost ink is a plus, has a large paper tray and fast. We use it for home office and school so it gets used. It is large and bulky but I think most office printers are probably the same. It did jam once when we first got it but has been flawless since.

Upon seeing the box when I picked this up at the store, my first thought was, "this thing is gonna be huge!" But, while it is big, the design is somehow still sleek and it doesn't look like a monstrosity, even in the small space of my home office. My first impression of functionality was how seamlessly it networked with my Apple Time Capsule / Airport Extreme set up. No problems. After getting it set up and running, I was awed by how fast it printed the full-color demo pages, especially considering the beautiful image quality (when using the sample ColorLok paper shipped with the machine.). While the print quality was considerably less impressive when I printed the same demo page on some standard paper I had lying around the office, the ColorLok paper is not expensive and so I just bought some more. One further positive discovery was that the print capacity for each ink cartridge was enormous (and, according to reviews, even larger than stated by HP, although I'm still gauging this for myself.)

This printer is great for the value but does have some problems. The 1st is that it the lid to the scaner glass is starting to fall apart and an error message says it must be closed to scan well it is. The other is that it won't print on empty so if you needed a document in black and white and blue was out it won't print and my local store does not carry the cartridges so you are shutdown for a few days

Well designed and built to handle the work load! I've had my fair share of other brands and knew this would be the Cadillac of printers! Buy with confidence you won't run into the issues of paper not being fed, rollers won't pull in an important document to scan! The quality of this printer will standout compared to others, images are crisper, don't is precise, and the ink... Well you won't be buying replacements for awhile!

I got this during a flash sale - which took some of the bite out of the price tag. Its blazing fast, and rock solid so far...best printer I've ever owned. Setup was easy, been stable on Wifi, and makes crisp docs faster (usually) than I can walk upstairs to grab them. But its big - I upsized from an 8620 and had to take a shelf out of my rack system to accommodate it. But it was worth it. Can't comment on the number of pages it prints per ink cartridge, but it gets good reviews in that department so I suspect it will be fine.
