This is a very fast and easy to use laptop. It appears to be very sturdy, slim design, easily stores in a backpack. Battery life so far has been aprox 10 hours, if you changed energy settings you coule probably get over 12 hours of use before having to recharge. Perfect for school, college, work, or any personal use.

Honestly I was not expecting to like nor felt confident with my choice of laptop for my needs. I’ve always had HP laptops, never any issues as they were always used for either my son’s school and now mine. I wasn’t looking for a “gaming” laptop but at least something that would last me for another 4 years at least. Finding a 64 GB almost doesn’t exist in HP or way too much for my needs/budget. This 32 GB sold me on the 2T, that’s what I really needed without having to purchase extra equipment or storage devices!
HP kinda put me in my place with this OmniBook X!
First of all THANK YOU FOR A CHOICE OTHER THAN SILVER! lol
So far I’ve had mine for about 3 weeks (ya I know not long) but enrolled in 2 different schools and over full time student this battery has lasted 3 days before I’ve had to plug in!! It is fast as well for me. Still keeping my beloved touch screen was a plus!
I do miss my number key pad but adjusting seems fine so far I it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
Love the screen options and vivid display. Sound is GREAT too with speakers on each side of the keyboard.
I haven’t had a lot of time to really fully play with it to see where else it does, but I am looking forward to a small break where I would be able to do that,ha!

I have been enjoying using this computer as my new main computer. It has good speed, memory, and responsiveness, not to mention my being able to pick it up and move it around.
I sometimes use the option of folding the keyboard under and using it as a tablet.
I have one problem, in that I'm used to having a keypad. I solved this as well as gave myself a better viewing angle, with a riser and an extra keyboard.

I develop a mobile application, and my PC did not have the storage capacity or RAM that I needed. I bought the HP OmniBook X, and it has been amazing! With the increased storage, I'm not even close to capacity, and my AI agents are now running fast and clean with the increased RAM. This has been a game changer for me!

The computer works great. It is able to handle mapping software for a college course. This will be the same software used after college. Customer service was awesome.

This is a really nice laptop. It suits our needs perfectly. It is a a replacement for our old laptop that stopped working. It's easy to use and I really like its layout.

I’ve really been enjoying my new laptop, it handles multiple tasks smoothly without slowing down. When I went to pick it up at my nearest Best Buy, the staff made the whole process easy and stress-free, which made the experience feel even better.

It would have been a 5-star had the keypad also has the typical number access on the right side. It is still a bit cumbersome and slightly time-consuming to have to type the numbers above the letters instead of auto-fell typing them on the right side (at least for right-handed individuals).

I’ve been using my HP laptop for a mix of trading, AI model experimentation, and heavy Python-based data analysis, and it has performed remarkably well across all fronts.
Performance:
Equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V and 32GB of RAM, this laptop handles multi-threaded Python scripts, real-time stock market feeds, and AI model inference without noticeable lag. Running Alpaca and Polygon-based trading bots, along with real-time WebSocket streams, hasn’t caused any slowdown—something that would choke lesser machines.
AI and Development:
For AI projects, including training and running large models locally (Ollama, Cline), this laptop’s CPU and memory capacity have proven sufficient for most tasks. I could comfortably run LLMs with large context windows and even tweak GPU-intensive parameters, though VRAM management is necessary for extreme workloads.
Multitasking:
Windows 11 Home with 64-bit architecture allows me to have multiple terminals, IDEs, and analysis tools open simultaneously. Switching between backtesting, live trading, and AI code review is seamless.
Portability and Usability:
While not ultra-light, the laptop’s responsiveness and 10-point touch support add convenience for both data visualization and general productivity. Battery life is adequate for typical usage sessions, though long AI training tasks will require plugging in.
Drawbacks:
For extremely large LLM inference or extensive GPU-heavy AI workflows, I need to monitor VRAM and occasionally offload tasks to cloud/GPU resources.
Occasional thermal throttling under prolonged heavy loads.
Overall:
This HP laptop is an excellent choice for developers, traders, and AI enthusiasts who need a reliable, high-performance machine capable of handling data-heavy and multitasking workloads. It strikes a great balance between performance and usability without being overkill or fragile.

Fast computer, good battery life. 2 in 1 useful for my needs. Igpu enough to run most games on medium and high setting at native screen resolution but newer AAA will struggle. Can run local AI model with zero issues. 32gb ram is great for this price. Screen is nice and bright. Metal on case is flimsy and will easily bend, so that is a big negative imo, take care in how you hold it and this one has surface defect in one of the drilled holes next to the keyboard… not a bad pc, but can tell it’s cost cutting qualities.
