First laptop i purchased. Replaced outdated desktop. Price and hardware was good deal for me. Haven't had it long but does all i need.

It's a significant upgrade from my previous HP. It has a lot of storage space for whatever you want to save and it's fast. Loads things almost instantly. Really a good buy.

It's a nice hefty laptop if you are looking for something to watch some movies on or surf the internet. The fact that it doesn't have Microsoft Office already installed on it, does hurt it's rating, but the sound quality and size can't be passed up.

I cannot say enough good things about this computer. It's fast, easy to use, and the screen size/resolution is perfect for Netflix marathons (as well as work presentations, Facebook photos, etc.) My only complaint is that the Windows app store has poor support and their apps frequently stop or crash. The ones I've most often noticed this with are Yahoo Mail and Netflix. However, when I access these sites via their webpages, I have no problems whatsoever. I'm very satisfied with the amount of storage on this model, and although I was reluctant to try Windows 10, it's quite easy to navigate.

Took almost no time to get this baby up and running once we took it home. Very happy

Processing speed is good on this model, Mouse pad lacks slightly in sensitivity, but overall a good product. crisp clear screen. good price as well

This computer is nice to use and has a big screen. My wife has no trouble using it and that is saying a lot as she knows very little about them.

So far its great!! I have had my last Pavilion for 5 years with little to no issues. Windows 10 still has issues. Its not as user friendly as 7.

This is an awesome laptop for the price even for gaming.

Great for a Multitude of Programs not only one at a time but multiple programs at once.The 1TB Memory is Just Amazing for Everything from Music,Videos,Pics,Documents and on and on.

I'm not a gamer so I didn't need anything super fast and this is perfect for my needs and way faster than the last computer I had.

Its easy to use. My kids use it for school projects and reports.

I spent less money on a Lenovo 5 years ago that crashed for the 3rd time and instead of reformatting the hard drive again, I decided maybe it was time to purchase a new computer. I read the reviews online, determined which computer would be the best value for the money and settled on this HP Pavillion. It's slower than my Lenovo even though it has the same processor, (even that is a disgrace, the same processor as my 5 year old computer and runs slower). Computer will randomly freeze and I have to do a hard restart. Computer doesn't sleep when there is no activity and remains awake even in the "closed" position. Windows 10 could be the culprit for the speed and operation issues, but I am so disappointed with the performance, battery life, and lack of anything but social media connectivity in this OS, that in the end, this is money poorly spent. Unfortunately Microsoft will only allow you to go back to a prior version if you pay for it (another $200+). To give it two stars instead of one, image and graphics quality is great, videos load quickly, best if you're only looking for video/social media/etc, but if you think this is an upgrade to a 5 year old computer, it's not.

Great laptop for those who want the 17" screen -- Core i3, so it's not the most beefy Intel chip, but still a current one, and it kept the price low -- still pretty light weight for a 17"

This is a great laptop for the price. It is fast and has 1TB memory. This laptop has all the features I was looking for.

i'm very happy with this purchase. it's a light weight laptop with a lot of computer power - an excellent choice for a student
