I luv the large screen but I would like a lit keyboard. Windows 10 is fine but I miss Windows 8. I do have an issue with there being no product sticker on the machine. Where is the serial number? Where is the manufacturer id? Where is product information?

I'm not technologically savvy, but I needed a large-screen laptop in order to consult online manuscripts from European libraries. I have a colleague who bought this same laptop & I borrowed it from him in order to test online access to these manuscripts, & it worked beautifully. Since the price was also beautiful, I bought this machine & so far, I'm satisfied. The only negative, for me, is that the size of the words onscreen changes as my hand brushes the screen, which I do try to avoid doing, but cannot always. So I'm constantly changing the text size back to what I want. I realize that if I understood better the overall functioning of the laptop, I might be able to avoid that one issue.

For the price is a decent laptop gets the job done. If you have a higher budget than $500 than go for another one, a bit bulky and hard to carry arround if that's what your are planning,

I used to stay away from anything with the HP brand, but in the past couple of years they have started making some quality products. This laptop looks well made, the screen is large and crisp, and the keypad types well. A bit heavy and the battery life could be better, but for the price it is a good value.

This laptop is a little heavier than I expected, but not bad for such a large screen. Now that the replacement has arrived all is well. The first unit was obviously defective and the Geek Squad helped me get it replaced. Very helpful people, except that something happened and the replacement order didn't actually get processed the first time. After a couple of weeks I contacted them and the error was corrected. Everyone was very helpful and apologetic and the "Christmas present" finally arrived on January 26th. The company did give me a nice discount for my trouble though. So all is well that ends well.

I bought this laptop after my Gateway laptop (that I had for approximately 10 years) finally stopped working. I followed the Best Buy Guide on how to buy a laptop and I selected this model because it seemed to meet all the specifications for my needs. Overall I am satisfied with the product. The screen size is large, I am a light user so I really am not concerned that it doesn't have a touch screen or that it doesn't flip back. The only real problem is that although it has an i5 processor, I find it to be rather slow. Other than that, I have no issiues.

My mom purchased this laptop with the intent of it being a mobile workstation for transcription. Windows 10 is easy to use and the laptop isn't that heavy in a bag. It is speedy and responsive.

Love the big screen. Wasn't sure about Windows 10 but it is easy to get around in. I really like this computer. It was a good choice for me. Downloaded my embroidery programs with no problems

Love the size and having the numeric keypad. The B&O speakers are great. It's been a lifesaver being able to watch Netflix on it. The only issue I have had with it is that for some reason I am NOT able to play the movies I own in iTunes on it in HD. A geek squad guy suggested I contact HP about it as there is probably an app that would enable me to do it. I just haven't had time. But for the price this is a great computer.

Fast, large screen. Easy to use. Can be used as s desktop

I'm an ASUS fan and had my mind set to buy another ASUS. I was really surprised that the HP had much better reviews so I sort of reluctantly chose the HP. WOW for the same price as the ASUS I got a much faster processor, more memory, more USB ports, double the HD, it doesn't get hot in your lap and has an HD display! Very nice and sleek machine. I did upgrade the memory by replacing the DDR3 2gb card with a DDR3 8gb (it comes with 1-2gb and 1-4gb). You will need to watch the YouTube video before you open this beast. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing and I'm happy that I trusted the reviewers.

Great laptop and the price was great too. No issues and Windows 10 works really well. Of course I am a big fan of HP.

Great screen size. Great sound. Fast and loads things quickly. Screen size is good for movies an touch screen.

I love that it has great storage. I do photography so this will be great. The screen size it great to show my photos on. I'm enjoying my new laptop.

My hard drive died on my last computer and I went on Best Buy website to look for another. I loved the choices but in the 17" there weren't many. I love this computer but it took a little getting used to Windows 10. I'm not great with computers but this one is very easy to get around and it's fast as can be. I was always used to sitting and waiting when I searched for something but this computer gets me where I need to go in an instant.

Not only does this laptop have a larger 17.3" screen but it also has a good combination of specs: 6 GB RAM, 1 TB HD & Intel i5 processor.

Perfect laptop for a very good price( got on sale for $350). I really like audio system , sounds good. A little bit slower than expected for i-5 but overall it is a good purchase.

For the price this is an excellent buy works great all the time and have good performance.

Wanted to get a laptop with a larger screen & more memory. Found this HP with a 17.3" screen and plenty of memory. Love the clarity of the screen. Much less frustrating to use than my old computer.
