This is my third HP Pavilion. So far, I'm pleased with the purchase. It's fast, has a large screen and great sound.

Has all the features at a great price. USB ports are located too close together to allow some connectors to fit side by side. Nice display, compact design.

I was searching for a laptop that would be able to do all the things that I needed it to do at this time and for future projects. I did a lot of research on the different laptops and the HP 17.3 Pavilion seemed to be the perfect fit for my needs. It has gone above and beyond my expectations. The price was awesome. Could not have made a better choice for myself!

Only problem I've had and am still having is the battery charging properly. One time after plugging in the charger, the battery icon said it was plugged in but not charging. The tech support guy at Best Buy reinstalled the battery and then it appeared to be charging fine. Now, when charging, the it took over twelve hours to fully charge and the light on the side doesn't turn white at all. This computer is a little over a month old, I would suggest finding another model or brand laptop. This is a bad sign for a new laptop. stay away from this HP model.

this is the expected price for what is received. i would have preferred indented keys, but it is my own fault for not reviewing specs more carefully. i will simply have to use the computer more in order to get used to it.

I bought this for my Mother to replace her aging laptop. Another 17 inch HP. This one is working GREAT for her! It is sleeker and has all the features that she needs. It was delivered on-time and worked great straight out of the box. Screen looks amazing and gives her lots of extra power for Facebook games and her publishing programs.

Good computer. However I paid to have a lot of data transferred and Geek Square did not tell me I would not be able to open these Word docs since I did not purchase Word. Was told the HP laptop came with a similar compatible program. Fortunately I also purchased tech support and was finally able to get Open Office installed and the docs converted by a techie who remoted in. I old and no longer tech savvy which was obvious to the sales crew and Geek Squad. Please tell your folks to pay attention to individual customers and not make assumptions about their abilities and needs. Thanks

This computer is exactly the width and weight I desired. . At a very reasonable price.

I had an HP 15" screen laptop and because I never had any problems, when I wanted a laptop with a bigger screen, I of course knew I would be purchasing another HP. I am so glad I did because I love not only the bigger screen, but it is so much nicer in overall style. I hope to enjoy using this laptop for years to come!

I have really enjoyed this computer - it is larger than what I am use to but it doesn't feel to large to work with. The 17" screen allows great spacing for working on multiple applications at one time.

excellent laptop computer for a real nice price. the only trouble so for i didn't set it up right for updates and geek squad did excellent job helping me with this. showed me how to keep my updates right.

Very happy with computer. Plenty of memory and speed and good looking as well. Had some trouble adjusting to Windows 10 after being a long time Windows vista user, but after a week or so have become quite happy with it. My only complaint was the email program that comes with it was not as easy as Vista's and finally downloaded Mozilla's Thunderbird and problem solved.

I bought this hp pavilion laptop for my mom as a christmas gift & she loves it. She loves the large screen & the ease of typing on the keyboard & it downloads rather quickly. Setup was a breeze. All in all I think its a great laptop for which I paid a little over $500 for including shipping.

This notebook is really great working. This is perfect value at the price. The weight is lighter than what I had 17" old laptop. So, I can carry this laptop for a travel. So far, I can not find any defect. If I can find the problem, it is window 10. The window live mail does not work properly in the window 10 O.S.. I hope that Microsoft should fix it very soon.

I purchased this computer to assist various aspects associated with my educational efforts and activities as a doctoral student at a major university. The purchase had an immediate impact on my ability to organize and complete assignments. It performed well beyond my anticipated expectation. I would most definitely recommend this computer to family and friends.

I bought this for my wife for when she travels. So far, so good. The screen is large, the processor is fast. No complaints.

This computer is so much faster and enjoyable to use than my other laptop. This is my second HP laptop which I believe is one of the top brands. I've had my older one for many years and it still works but I wanted to upgrade. And this one is the one I would recommend to choose to upgrade. It is easy to use and I love learning more things I can do on it.

First one keep frezing since day one. Second one has been great. MThe screen looks really good and the processor is fast as is start up. With my old toshiba i had to wait about 5 min. to actually be able to start aplications or surfing the web, but on this laptop you are doing what you want in less than a minute. Apps, sound, color are decent. Great laptop for home use
