when searching websites and download upgrades it is very fast

If you are a beginner or slightly more this isn't the easiest laptop to work with. I am a month into scratching my way into understanding this unit & I still don't feel comfortable with it. A learning center from Best Buy should be offered.

I guess the computer is ok. It doesn't have the little slot for memory cards. It also lacks the scroll feature on the touch pad which makes it somewhat inconvenient. If you take a lot of pictures be prepared to hook up cables!

Runs well, good speed for downloading games. Sound could be improved but I hooked up external speakers so that helped considerably. No major gripes about it - happy with the purchase. Overall, a good laptop for the price!

I buy a new HP laptop every 3 or 4 years, so there is no big transition for me. I use this laptop for personal use...primarily for e-mail and internet. Don't like the new operating system but that's not a related issue!

This is an excellent general purpose system. I've only had it a few days, but the learning curve seems to be reasonably short. It has all the basic features I need for home use; it was also very easy to get connected to the Internet. I expect to have fun learning what to do with all the special features, too.

works great most of the time however it has a few issues the i7 processor doesn't always react like an i7 more like an i3 and it needs to be rebooted a lot... hoping that the windows 10 upgrade will help all of this

So far I find this computer to be good for my first year as a college student. I wasn't sure what I was going to be needing and my finances were limited so I settled on this computer. No problems to report.

This appears to be a good laptop. I have read mixed reviews but thus far I have no complaints. I don't think I got the best deal, but it is relatively new so not many deals on it when I bought it.

First time geek squad tried to send me out of the store with a new comp. that they could not get to function. Made 5 37 mile trips in 5 days before they exchanged it. 2nd one lasted about a month. Froze up, got slower, would return to Start at will. Keyboard was too small to fast type effectively. Store made me buy a 2 year Protect and Support Plus for $130 in order get the $350 difference between the 2 units. Will work towards getting that refunded thru HO in Michigan as well as the $52 final difference that they would not put on my credit for on my card or give me cash; gave me an in store credit which I told the Mgr. I did not want. It was as if I was responsible for the malfunction of both HP machines. He said he was treating me fairly, I disagreed with him. He said it was company policy, first time I heard of that policy from any store.

I bought this because I had an HP but it quit and I thought I would get the same years of service with a new on, boy was I wrong. The first day I got it I installed Windows 10, it went downhill from there I couldn't the network working the this said it was in VPN or something when I would try to change that it would it would go to airplane mode. Could not find the modem wanted me to restart that when I did would do the same thing. Took Windows 10 off an was belter now I have up dated it and it wont find the network if I leave it on I have to shut it off.
