Our old PC went belly up and we found this one online at bestbuy and we knew this was the one. This PC is much faster and it has the new windows software on it, so it's a bit getting used to. I love it. I finally have a PC worthy enough to play games on.

Easy to set up and plenty of memory so that the whole family can share.

Great computer for the price. It is faster than I thought it would be. Plenty of storage space. I added extra RAM with ease and the performance should be solid for quite awhile.

We needed a computer with a ton of space to store programs my husband needs to use for his school. This runs quickly and has enough space to do what we need and then some.

Computer is very easy to use, lot's of great programs that I have not yet opened, the only thing I see is an intermittent glitch with Internet Explorer, sometimes it will stop working, doesn't happen a lot, but it can be annoying!

If you are looking for a desktop PC, this is an awesome unit that is rocket fast, with tons of storage. Not everyone needs a desktop unit nowadays, but if you still do, this is a very price-worthy option for you!

I was disappointed when I bought this computer. It wasn't the fault of the computer but that of the Sales Person. I had told him everything I needed in a computer and what type of work I would be doing. Regretfully I was told everything I wanted to hear and not what I needed to know. It would not have handled the anticipated work load very well. The motherboard is that of a laptop not a desktop. Took the computer back to the store and bought a higher end Dell Desktop. The Geek Squad Leader and Sales Person Leader had shown great professionalism and had gone out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied with my new purchase.

I am mostly happy with the new computer - of course still getting used to the different layout, etc. of Windows 8.1 (since my last computer was Windows XP). And not happy about my Internet Explorer quitting working. I don't know if it had to do with McAfee or the computer or something else? This computer is a lot faster than my old one.

This pc had the most memory and speed that I could afford.

Very easy to set up and the computer is excellent for family function, such as internet, MS office and watch movie.

I really wanted the A10 machine, but they were out of stock. The AMD A8 processor is every bit as fast as ny son's Intel core I5. Windows 8 isn't terrible, and this unit is a serious upgrade over what I had. For the money ($500.00), you can't beat it. Copied all my music and photos over, and have barely put a dent on the 2 TB hard drive. Zero issues or concern. like the free webroot subscription too.

Easy to set up! Perfect for my 5 & 7 year olds to do school work and play school related games. Plenty of storage for ALL of our photo/video needs.

After using laptops for 7 years its the time to back to the desktop and this product is really really great and u cant imagine how silent it is

This HP Pavilion Desktop performs worse than any computer we have ever bought. Our 7 yr old computer worked more efficiently than this one! This computer is slow & clunky in response to keyboard commands and moves VERY slowly from one task to another. The keyboard that came with it is atrocious. Had to learn to type all over again. I type about 100 wpm with a light touch. This keyboard skips letters & stutters before getting the letters on the page. So I have to keep backing up & making corrections Even when I make an effort to hit the keys harder & hold my fingers flatter this still happens often enough to make it very aggravating. I would have RETURNED this computer if we hadn't gone on vacation & it was past the return date by the time we came home. Also, McAfee is embedded & constantly requests to be updated now that the trial period is over. It also seem to be causing problems with some of my other programs. Gonna have my IT guru son get rid of that for me. I would NOT recommend this computer to anyone.

I bought this computer to replace one that I could not rebuild because of a power issue. It is faster and more efficient and very easy to set up - even with my old monitor that I did not replace!

This computer works very well. It loads internet pages quickly and does everything you would ever need to do, plus it has plenty of hard drive space. All in all it is a great little computer.

Would really be nice if you could get windows 7 and not windows 8. Windows 8 is a lot different and we don't like it. Microsoft should make upgrades easier not harder.

I purchased this PC to replace the one I had, it wasn't updating the way it should because it is five years old. I love the fact that HP is set up to fix itself and make it so easy to restore to factory if you crash or get a virus or bug. I've had no repair bills with HP. If I had to get my computers repaired every time I had a problem I couldn't afford to have one. If it crashes, it steps up and repairs itself. That being said, I don't like Windows Eight at all! You have to be very aware that it's been changed a lot and not for the better! Everything you have to download to set it up has multiple downloads that you might not want on the computer and you have to look close, because they're hard to see and hard to read. My security caught and deleted so many harmful things coming in with the setup, and several I had to go in an uninstall.
