Q: Does this come with a free download of Windows 10?
A: Yes! It sure does!
Q: Can this tower handle a h.p. Scanner.
A: I have an HP scanner/printer/copier and fax running with this tower and it works great.
Q: Does this Pavilion have buit in speakers?
A: No speakers. Need to purchase separately.
Q: can I use my HD Tv as a monitor?
A: If the TV has a VGA port (non-HDMI port that monitors use to hook to computers), then it is able to. Otherwise, no, because it does not have an HDMI port.
Q: Is this desktop available with Windows 7?
A: It comes with Windows eight. It is easy to use. I have a laptop with Windows eight and I don't like it very well. It's harder to use. I am not sure why.
Q: If Hard Drive Crashes is there a Recovery Disc.....?
A: Hewlett-Packard does not ship recovery discs or operating system discs with HP notebook or desktop PCs. However, all current Hewlett-Packard desktop and notebook PCs will include a recovery partition on the hard drive that will allow for one copy of recovery media to be made. You can also contact the HP Technical Support department at 1-800-474-6836 to order recovery media.
Q: Can I play DVD on this PC. It ONLY say cd?
A: Yes, you can play CDs on this unit too.
