My 9-year old HP Pavilion p6714y started to have disk issues and was running Windows 7. Decided to upgrade to Windows 10 and stay with HP. Great decision. Was under $500 for a Windows 10 machine, 1TB hard drive, 8GB memory. Some previous comments about being noisy had me concerned, but decided to take a gamble. Mine is super quiet. Do not hear the fans or any disk noises at all. Very easy to unload software. Purchased LapLink software and transitioned all my software from the old PC to the new PC in less than an hour. The HP desktop is smaller in size and fits much better in my cabinet. I would recommend this desktop for anyone looking for a mid-range PC.

I spend a great deal of time on my computer either for personal use or completing work for a youth group that I work with. I have been very pleased with the speed of this computer as well as the compact size. I am still exploring some of the things I am able to do with this computer and I am enjoying the exploration.

I bought this PC top act as a virtual server host for my network, running VirtualBox. On it's own and out of the box, I was pretty impressed with the speed, but after installing 32gb of RAM and adding a 120gb M2 format Solid State Drive, this thing is a little screamer and will be perfect for my needs. However if you were looking to make this a simple desktop, I don't think you'd be disappointed in the least. More than enough power to run basic applications and plenty of room to grow. It's an impressive value for the price, especially if you catch it on sale like I did. Case is very easy to work around in and access is good. First time I ever used an M2 format SSD and while I was impressed with how easy it was to install, HP should have included the retaining screw to hold the stick in place. I searched through my spare parts bin for literally an hour until I could find a screw tiny enough to fit. And then I had to rig a washer out of plastic as the head was too small to retain the stick. I assume this might come with an OEM M2 drive, but HP should have included it and simply screwed one into the stock standoff. Other than that I am very pleased with this PC and I don't think you could do much better for the price.

When looking to upgrade my mother's computer setup, I was fortunate enough to find one of these as an open box item. Setup was really easy and I was thoroughly pleased with this desktop. My only complaint might be the cd/DVD drive. HP is using the same type usually found in laptops and have it mounted on its side rather than horizontal. These feel flimsy and loading a disc takes a bit of extra care and effort. Still,I was so impressed with this computer that I went back and bought a second one for myself. I will add that I did increase the RAM from 8gb to 16gb. This seemed to really improve the performance and easily justify the extra cost.

Bought the specifally because of the Vega graphics CPU. PC was for my mom who watches a lot of videos. I didn't want the added cost or complexity that comes with an add in video card nor any associated driver issues. Computer is quick and on the small size making it perfect for a very small apartment. Soon after it was setup it became necessary to switch from the Lan to the built-in wireless adapter and I found it to provide a stable, strong signal. Price was good but found that it has recently been reduced in price further making it an even better buy. Just wish it was available with Win 10 Pro edition in order to delay Microsoft patches, giving them time to fix and pull their never ending stream of botched updates.

This was a replacement for my 8 year old HP computer. It is so much faster and has much more storage for all of my music and photos. I had to get used to Windows 10, but it is relatively easy to learn and with many more features than Windows 7. I have only had it for one month - but so far, so good! Also, it went on sale a week later for $50 less, and Best Buy refunded me the difference!

I bought this computer for an emergency when my old computer died. The price was very good at around $400. When I got it home, it was easy to set up. The computer has preformed very well with good speed, multi tasking, and excellent graphics.

Found this after researching for a bargain full featured Windows 10 desktop PC with at least 8G RAM. This also comes with plenty of HD storage at 1TB. Performs well (no lags) and so far has met my expectations. Ordered online 12/29 and delivered 12/31 (2 days and free shipping. Wow!)

Easy setup, pairs with my bluetooth, equipped to have two monitors, good speed, I can use it to work from home, Wireless internet connection to the box in my living room, & its quiet. What is there to complain about? Nothing. Im a happy camper.

I decided to purchase this desktop after my six-year-old Dell laptop finally decided to stop working properly. So far, this is the best computer I’ve ever owned! I’ve been through two laptops and decided that a desktop computer is what I need. It is extremely quiet, I never hear it making noise. It’s very fast, and quite an awesome computer for running multiple programs. I love it, and enjoyed not having to pay too much for a decent computer.

While my HP is still in it's early days it is zippy and handles running multiple platforms smoothly and seamlessly at the same time. I run two different businesses and both have business software that runs at the same time all day. Not a hitch or a glitch. I don't know about numbers and techno stuff. I am just a regular everyday business owner who just wants what I want done when I want it. This does it.

Our computer finally gave out so we immediately mobbed over to Best Buy and bought this guy because it was on sale and they don’t offer to many options for desktop comp’ in store, in my opinion. We play CS and have had no problems with it lagging and so far the game runs smoothly. Happy with it so far! Really light and not to bulky which is also nice. I also think HP is great for beginners and elderly as it’s easy to use and get the job done!

Easy setup. So far it is very quiet. Works with reasonable speed. Light weight and doesn't take up a lot of space.

It has plenty of memory to run the programs I use and more than enough storage for my purposes. It’s also fairly quiet for such a large build. It’s also got a very clean looking case with plenty of USB hookups.

I got lucky with this one. I was willing to pay full price but I kept putting it off and looking at it online.I checked it one day and it was on sale for $80 off so I went and bought it and couldn't be happier. I am a casual user and it is plenty fast for me and it is so quite, I was worried that the fan was not working.I think it is because it works great even over long periods of use.I could hear my old HP running from the other room.My only complaint besides trying to learn windows 10 is it is jammed full of a bunch of programs that I don't want.I think it's called bloatware.Why don't they let us decide on what we want on our computer?I think it's a good computer for the price and the Ryzen 3 seems like a very capable processor. Absolutely no regrets.

I need to upgrade an old hard drive that was 10 years old. You can't go wrong with HP products. It's super fast and has enough memory for my photos. For internet browsing, it's great.

It is fast and was easy to set up. It is very quiet while running. I have been using for a month now and there hasn't been any problems.

This is a good, solid computer for most people. So far I've used it for online correspondence, YouTube videos, some gaming requiring great graphics and memory, and Skyping. It has done everything I wanted quickly, no lag and drag, no problems. I'm pretty impressed with what I got for the price. My last HP desktop lasted ten years and is now being used by my grandkids. I have high hopes for this one.
