Perfect for my home office

I also have a MacBook Pro that is my main system but when using Microsoft Office the desktop is better suited. For someone who needs a little more than just basics this computer works great.

Hardware great - Software undesirable

So, when I went to buy one, I tried to get one with Windows 7 operating system; but Best Buy didn,t have any to sell. So I had to settle with this one with Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, the changes Microsoft made in Windows 8.1 are so drastic it is ridiculous. For someone like me, who was so content with how Windows XP worked, it is to difficult to get used to how Windows 8.1 works. It is now one month since I purchased this computer, but I still haven't found out how to do all the things I was able to do on my Windows XP computer. I wish now that I had waited until I could find one that had windows 7 on it.

Lots of nice features for the price.

While I am pleased with the performance of this computer it has frozen a couple of times. I was not happy when I was researching for a new computer to see that most now do not have HDMI connections.
