This is a fantastic machine. Slim profile, very light, sleek 'mac like' premium build quality, and it's fast. I have no complaints so far 1 month after purchase. It's working like a charm and I would highly recommend the 2 in 1 Spectre high end series for anyone looking for a laptop in this price range. I will update if there are any problems.

Bought this on Black Friday at a great price, great specs for the price. Beautiful computer but unfortunately ran hot and had a good bit of fan noise, which is important for me and bothers me a lot so I returned it. Otherwise seemed like a great deal and I would have liked it. It is last years model without the new USB C port that the new ones have.

This laptop is phenomenal. It's lightweight but very solid. It's the fastest laptop I've ever used. I do a lot of graphic and video work along with coding and this laptop is great. It's so easy to transport and the colors are so vivid. It's also a very sleek design. I love this laptop. I've had it 3 months and I love it more every day.

Great screen, great sound, great portability, lightweight, and a lot of power under the hood. My only real complaint is that the lip to open it isn't nearly wide enough to fit fingers in unless you happen to be a toddler. But at a fraction of the cost of the better designed Dell XPS line or MacBooks, it's one I'm willing to overlook.

It is a good laptop overall, following are pros and cons that I observed : pros : lightweight, cool look, slim, good specs(16gb ram, i7 processor , 512 ssd), Display port Cons: heating problem, i7 6th generation instead of 7th, ram is DDR3, battery backup ~2-3 hrs, no ethernet.

Bought this for my business. Wanted to take it everywhere, so portability was key. Fairly heavy, and, when in tablet mode, hard to use. HP seemed more concerned with form (which is quite sexy), than function. There is a sharp edge on the bezel. If you use it in your lap, it irritates the heels of your palms. Operationally, it is excellent. Fast boot up, fast multi-tasking capabilities, no hang ups or glitches. There is some bloat ware, but it isn't excessive. Mechanically, the hinge seems a bit wobbly. It won't hold 90° against gravity with some jostling. It holds easel mode well, so it is good for presenting tabletop videos. It won't hold itself in tablet mode, so it requires you to hold it pinched together when used this way- annoying on such a thick "tablet". Overall it does everything I need it to, but for the money, could stand some improvements. I really hate that sharp edge. So much that I might file it smooth!!!!

Bought it on Black Friday for $1000. Excellent battery, light and superb performance. Had some issues with touch screen flickering but it was a software issue and worked properly after got a new one in return. Works nicely as a tabled but keyboard is sometime irritating (I think this is a con in all 2 in 1 laptop)

This laptop is perfect for the on-the-go worker. It is by far the fastest laptop I have ever owned and it's super light so it makes it extremely portable. My other laptops were a burden to travel with. The graphics are crystal clear (great for design work) and it can handle a lot of needy programs. Very pleased.

I was looking for a high power, light weight 2-in-1 laptop to be used at home and on travel. This HP fit the bill. Its the lightest and most powerful laptop I found that can also be used as a tablet, with great performance and speed. The only disadvantage is its a little expensive.

This computer is very user friendly. My son uses it daily for doing his school work, which was one of the main reasons for the purchase. It is very fast and we really love that. Very lite weight. It does everything I was told it would do and more I'm sure.

This is a great laptop for both portability and power. The screen display is fantastic, the capacity for i7 processor is great, and the speed for startup and shut down is very quick. The battery life is quite good, even with the i7, routinely lasting all day in use, and longer with the battery saver mode. Only minor issues are that, at least for me, the track pad took a little getting used to and occasionally the touchscreen gets frozen clicking in one spot, though you just have to click out of it with the track pad. Overall, a great purchase and am very satisfied.

This is a great machine. Setup was problem-free. Performance is fast. I HIGHLY recommend the Ash Silver version, not only because it's gorgeous, but more importantly because the keyboard backlighting works so much better with the dark colored keys. Two things HP could do to improve the Spectre x360: 1. Include a Windows Hello compatible camera to facilitate hands-free log on and unlocking. I loved this feature on the Surface Book, but the Spectre x360 offers so much more value if you're looking for a laptop-centric 2-in-1. 2. The power button really ought to be easier to find by feel. It's important not to have the button protruding such that the computer can be accidentally turned on while transporting it in a case, but the x360's power button is completely flush with and has the same texture as the case in which it is mounted. I'm sure it's prettier this way, but it makes it very difficult for me at least to find by feel.

Love the look of my new laptop. It's thin and light weight with a sleek design. The battery doesn't last as long as other laptops I've had but it gets the job done!

As an ex-Macbook owner, it was a leap of faith for me to switch to a PC. After researching almost all of my PC options, this HP Spectre x360 was the only laptop that, for lack of a better phrase, turned me on like the macs do. As my title says, there is so much to love about this laptop. First, it looks great; it's thin, sharp, and well-constructed. The i7 processor is fast and powerful. The backlit keyboard makes typing a breeze, and I love the touch screen and 360 flip capability. The battery life is outstanding, and it even has a "battery saver" mode. The stereo speakers have been tuned by Bang & Olufsen and sound very good, even when listing to classical music. Lastly, this computer possess most of the standard ports (i.e USB, HDMI, Mini Display), which is something Apple cannot boast about their newest Macbook lineup. There are a few things that bug me. First, the scroll pad is less responsive and more fidgety than the Macs are. The 'right' click takes some time to get used to. In general, learning Windows 10 is taking some time, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. One thing I will miss about having a Mac is that when I forgot my charger, there was usually someone near by who I could borrow from. I just better be more conscientious about battery life/charging with this HP. Overall, I really like this laptop and would recommend it to anyone, especially if you're looking for a Macbook-like PC. Computer is great, I use it for work. Is great for client presentations. Looks very classy and is very fast. I love how fast the SSD loads when you turn the computer on compared to the boot time of my old computer with a traditional hard drive.

    Beautiful, Stunning Screen, Very Happy

Pros: The laptop is simply gorgeous (ash silver/gold copper), the QHD screen is sharp and colors fantastic, the overall construction is top-shelf, the backlit keyboard is stunning, the battery life is above average (7 hours of Netflix running non-stop at 65% brightness, that was my tested findings), multiple viewing modes very nice to have (flip to tent mode or tablet mode), plenty of USB 3.0 ports and full size HDMI, speaker system excellent, fast Skylake i7 (6th gen) and fast 512GB SSD, quick boot-up, don't find the unit to get too warm (very acceptable, no problem on lap for long periods). Cons: There is a very real "ghost touching" issue with this laptop and I have found a way to minimize this problem by turning off "fast start-up" (Google it, Youtube video also available) and by switching it from sleep to hibernate (apparently "sleep" in some way causes the "ghost touching" and I did find it helped to hibernate instead). I still get the "ghost touching" every now and then, but it is manageable and all things considered, this laptop is worth keeping. *The 2 attached photos were taken at my local BB for this laptop. It's a special edition so it was isolated with its own promo table. Again, this thing is a looker! Just beautiful.

This machine is fast, compact and looks sharp. All of the automatic updates work well and efficiently. I have no issues with the machine crashing, it's very stable. Even when we switch between users and have multiple pieces of software running the machine is still very stable. I run a lot of Adobe products on here such as illustrator, Photoshop, premier , Dreamweaver and many more. One of the files that I use in Photoshop is 3 gigs in size and the machine still is able to handle it effortlessly.

I really enjoy my little 2in1 HP Spectre. It runs circles around any of my other machines. Start-up is fast, loading programs is fast, running multiple programs is fast....it's just plain fast. With SSD and 16GB of memory it really flies. I love the smaller size. My only issue is with the trackpad. It's too sensitive in some things and not sensitive enough in others. Can anyone tell me why Apple is the only company that can make a decent trackpad. But this is really one fabulous laptop and it is very attractive with the Bronze and Gold. The battery last quite well too. I've not timed it but it lasts all day and into the next day with intermittent use throughout the day. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
