I had been wanting this laptop since I first seen it. The screen is 2560x1440 and looks amazing, great color and sharp. HP stepped up on their design and this is a beautiful laptop, the hinges look beautiful and do a great job allowing the laptop to be used as a tablet. if you get the HP active stylus you can use the screen to write/draw on and use the Windows 10 inkspace to leave notes, etc. I highly recommend this laptop, I use it a lot when traveling for work and it always goods compliments from others.

Seriously it is perfect. I was initially worried about how thin it would be but it is very durable and lightweight. Performance is completely unexpected, boots in less than 10 seconds and is ready to use. 100% satisfied.

I spent a lot of money on this laptop but it was worth it. So fast and awesome graphics. The only downside was it was a little pricey

My daughter loves this computer for college small and light weight, but powerful enough to do everything she needs to do and more

My son picked this computer out for it's light weight and size. He didn't want to have to carry a big, bulky laptop around campus his Freshman year. The laptop is everything he hoped it would be!

It is light and easy to use. Love touch screen. I use one note the most and the only issue I have is importing power points has gotten a little slow so I just have to prepare the night before class.

I have now been using this laptop for three weeks. It has been everything I was looking for, fast, powerful, good battery life and has handled everything thrown at it. However, I did not give it a fifth star because it gets unbearably hot during regular use. To the point that I would not reccommend using it on your lap unless you have a high threshhold for pain. One alternative I have found is tuse it in tent format, but that is not always practical if you need the keyboard.

Really works as advertised. Upgraded to Windows 10 Pro. I use it with an external monitor with an extended desktop. I stand the Spectre on an inclined notebook stand but folded inside out so it is just the display visible. Suggestion: before you attempt to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, let it catch up on all of its updates first. The process is smoother that way. I've now set up 4 of these.

The biggest problem I've had is it can overheat easier due to the metal case. That causes the touch screen to freak out a bit. Restarting usually fixes problem but sometimes it has to cool off. I had a problem with the speakers not working. Other than that it's great. The screen is awesome and I love the keyboard!

It is a wonderful laptop. I was skeptical about paying that much for a laptop but it is well worth the money. It is super fast and light. It does more than I will ever need to use it for.

I love this computer! The screen is brilliant and keyboard is perfect for my touch. It's super fast and the graphics are great. I like the 2 in 1 feature and I use that often.

I bought one of these last Christmas for my daughter, so when I was looking at replacing a Sony laptop that was having some problems, I looked at this for myself. I love the touch screen (a must for Windows 10 in my opinion). I also like the way it is versatile and can fold like a laptop or flip-fold as a media viewer. Another plus is the low weight (~3 lb) which makes it great for travelling or just taking along wherever you go. My daughter wanted something light to take to school, and this really worked for her. I also really like the color I chose. If you're looking for a reasonably priced versatile system, this one could be for you.

I love this computer. It is compact but powerful. Easy to travel with but I can complete all of my necessary task. Would recommend this HP spectre to everyone!

Love this Laptop it size, and design are fantastic and hardware does everything I need this device to do. HP has out done themselves with the look and feel of this machine.

Highly recommend this laptop! Fastest I have ever used and user friendly. Does get a little hot but not as bad as other laptops I have had...all a round great laptop!

I initially bought a 256GB (8GB RAM) version of this Black/Gold edition, but had to return it because of some hardware defect (the right palm rest area was making some weird popping sound whenever I pressed on it). Then I got a refurbished 512GB (8GB RAM) model. That was a mistake and I will never get a refurbish PC ever again (hard drive failed after 1 week of use). Third time is the charm! This newly updated model with 16GB of RAM was just too great to pass up. I decided to go for it once more! It's been 2 months now, and everything is still running great! If you want beauty, power, and mobility for your next laptop investment.... LOOK NO FURTHER! Battery life lasts about 6-7 hours on average. That's great considering that it is packing an i7 CPU with touchscreen capability. Fortunately, I bought this when it was first released about 2 months ago for about $100 cheaper.

Yes! What a good looking piece of machinery (especially if you're going to spend all day every day with it, as I am). Admittedly, i have not worked much with it yet but i did have IT person transfer data from old laptop to this and he was impressed with speed and capacity. I am deducting one star as i wish the screen was just a bit bigger (without sacrificing sleekness, light weight and of course the beautiful style).
