I've had the spectre 360 for about 2 weeks now and it is everything I expected from it. Battery life is great, the only negative negative would say would be the speakers...not as loud as I expected from today's technology, but still good.

I purchased this laptop after spending a lot of time trying to decide between this and comparable MacBooks. Previously, I had a 2010 MacBook, and switching my loyalties was hard! What it came down to is that the HP Spectre x360 is convertible and touch screen! These features enhance usability, as I find myself changing "modes" and using the touchscreen feature constantly. My only complaints so far have been that my trackpad feels a bit loose compared to what I'm used to (and louder when moving it,) and I can't seem to grasp the touchscreen keyboard without spelling something wrong. Very minor details compared to how lovely this computer is- perfect for grad school!

This computer has everything I was looking for. It is light weight, runs cool, has a backlit keyboard and touchscreen. I had no problem using it right out of the box. I love this computer!

I wanted a device that had ample memory, didn't have a traditional hard disk, used a fast chip set and an up-to-date operating system. As I researched my options the Spectre 360 kept popping to the top of my list. Being a touch screen is a big plus and makes it user friendly for many apps and when traveling. Apple has somewhat comparable "convertible/2 in 1" type products but none with a touch screen. Apple also costs about 25% more for the similar performance. Easy choice for me.

Light weight, solid, good looking, great battery power. i7 and solid state drive makes it real fast. 8GB RAM can handle tons of active applications. DUAL mode adds icing to the cake.

The best things about this laptop/tablet is that it has a long battery life (almost all day) and with an SSD drive and i7 processor is very fast. What's not to like! Also love the back lit keyboard and the touch of the keyboard.

This is a sleek little laptop with a lot of power. I was looking for a light-weight laptop for travel and personal use. I was looking at the Surface PRO 3. I found the Spectre when I was looking at comparable products. This system compared with the top of the line Surface PRO 3, but cost a lot less.
The mouse pad isn't great, but it's easily overcome with a plug-in/mouse.
If your shopping for a Windows laption, give this one a look!

I needed a laptop that was reasonably portable to use when I am traveling. I found that my notebook computer has too small a screen and induced eyestrain so I am pleased with my HP Spectre X 360 as a compromise between usability and portability. It is fast and has a quite large and very visible screen. However I recommend using a wireless mouse as I don't find that I use the touch screen much with this size screen. A few times while traveling I have missed the presence of a DVD or CD reader, but on the other hand have appreciated the light weight and compactness that is absence permits. So overall it is a good compromise.

Setup and learning curve was not as difficult as expected. Touch screen is very responsive. Microsoft 8.1 much improved over 7.1. Flexibility is good, Battery life is excellent. More apps for windows wold be appreciated!

I have had this for 2 weeks and everything about it works very well.
I have the 8 gb ram with 256 ssd version and I would definitely recommend the laptop.
I truly love the touch screen capabilities of this unit.
Some reviewers have stated some negatives about the touch pad, but I do not find anything wrong with it. It works well.
Please be aware, though, that there are not nearly as many apps available for Windows 8 than there are for IOS and Android platforms.
Hopefully, that will change soon.

I had to buy a new computer asap, and this is the one I went with. The biggest pro of this computer is the super long battery life. I often go the whole work day without plugging it in. I also think the laptop is very lightweight and has a nice look and feel to it. The keyboard lighting is a nice feature that I have wound up actually needing a few times, however the fact that the key to turn this function on and off is always lit can be pretty annoying. I also have had some issues with the mouse pad- the left click doesn't always work. The biggest minus for me is that there is only 256 gigs of space on the SSD. I can't even sync dropbox. So that's been a huge drawback that I probably should have thought about before buying. I don't use the computer in tablet mode, but the screen stays in position in laptop mode very well. Structurally, this laptop is built well, but in terms of performance (with the exception of battery life), I'd say it's not much better than my old Lenovo that I bought new for around $600.

I read copious reviews of this computer and a few other similar models (esp the Lenovo Yoga314). I went with this one because it is more sturdy (albeit more expensive). I am not disappointed! It's very fast, even when using a hotspot, which happens to be my internet source. The keys are comfortable, the screen is bright and big, all in a sleek package. I do not do any gaming but I bet this would work well with gaming applications. I use Windows 10 OS and Edge as my navigating tool.

I replaed my old HP Envy with this computer and could not be happier. It is so light and I love the touch screen function and the ability to use it as a tablet and a PC. You can't go wrong with one of these.

Love it very much. Very fast and responsive, light.
Battery life is impressive. Screen quality is superb. Love the tablet conversion mode and also the ability turn it into a kickstand for watching movies. I only wish the speaker had a little more power. Also wish the power button was not flush to the chassis so you can easily press it and lastly reduce the wide trackpad. If you are not into apple macbooks then this is a very good alternative.

I wanted something that I could easily carry around with me, as I work at a variety of different places, and want to be able to work or study on-the-go. This computer is small and light enough to make that possible. The keyboard feels surprisingly good and is large enough that I feel as if I can type normally, which is important to me. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

I went out to buy a laptop with a solid state hard drive for business. I found that the HP Spectre x360 met the requirements. It was not as light as I was originally planning, but the screen is larger than I planned, and I like that. The touch screen was not in the requirements, but I find that I really like it. I am beginning to think of it as a tablet in certain applications, but it is a real computer. As expected, the computer boots fast. For the rest of the hardware capacity, I suspect the computer will be obsolete before I strain it. I am eagerly awaiting the upgrade from Windows 8, which is not computer friendly, to Windows 10.
