This laptop is easy to use and has been a big help to me. The battery has a long life and the system is portable.

I purchased this as a good mix for school as I needed the battery to last 6-8 hours there and to run quick books at home. The battery does last, and it is fast. However I had to return the first one as it would freeze when opening the browser. That started on day two and by day 10, every time this was happening. So I exchanged because I do like the size, weight, battery and speed. Well now I'm on number two and when switching between screens the pixels go black. I don't think it is the screen because I have to refresh the page for the issue to go away. Needless to say, going to have to see geek squad soon. I got this on a student special so it was roughly 400 dollars cheaper. I'm glad I didn't pay full price and got the warranty. I don't think this laptop is built to last, which is a shame, it is nice.

Extremely happy with this laptop. It is beautiful and elegant and super fast. Does everything I wanted it to do and then some.

I love this laptop so much! I use it for college whenever I need to work on assignments. The battery seems to last pretty much all day and I like how I am able to switch it to tablet mode and use touch screen. If you are looking for a laptop that's realiable, then I recommend this because you can literally do anything on it!

I bought this computer last month and within 2 weeks I had to return it due to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, headset jack and heat issues. I went back to Best Buy and there were no questions asked and I received another one. The new one boots up in less than 10 seconds and I'm on my way. I did sign up for the Corel Pro 7 that was offered through the Microsoft account for free but when I turned it in, the new one wont allow me to get the full version for free. The battery life is nowhere near the what HP advertises so you have to put on battery saver and dim the screen but the functionality is not affected. Other than those initial problems I really like the computer and would recommend it.

This laptop is great with respect to portability given its screen size. I've always been skeptical of buying HP laptops but this one caught my attention. It has a nice, clean finish and specs are amazing as well. I only wish if it had a better battery life (doesnt last as long as HP claims).

I would recommend the laptop to anyone! I love that It isn't heavy and can hold a charge for a long period of time.

This computer is FAST with the SSD drive and memory. Boot up times, running software, and even compiling our programs work well. The fan while running is very quiet. Style is impressive and sleek and the abundance of ports (HDMI, mini display, USB) is convenient. Bought 1 for a new employee (software engineer) and then 2 more for other employees after seeing how well it worked.

I was used to a Mac and decided to go back to a Windows laptop after my grandson started taking college courses and I gifted it to him. I wanted something as lightweight and fast as my Mac Pro and this has been exactly what I was looking for. So easy to use and so fast with great graphics! Worth the switch!

I had a laptop and an iPad Air and was looking at an iPad pro. For a little more money I purchased this HP convertable and it was the right choice. Does so much more and is extremely fast to boot up and work with. A bit of a learning curve for me with Windows 10, but it's not a problem. The backlit keyboard comes in handy. Go with this unit and you won't regret it.

This is an overall really well made and durable laptop. Since it's Intel Core i7 processor with a solid state drive, it runs really well, much faster than my 5 year old HP Pavilion laptop. Its just amazing how much improvement technologies have made just over a few years time. The visuals on this laptop are fantastic, I really enjoy watching netflix and youtube in 1080p on this laptop. Furthermore, I really appreciate the sleek design of this laptop. At 13", it is very easy to travel with, it fits right in my handbag tote. This laptop reminds me of the Apple Macbook Air but I'm a PC girl all the way so I absolutely love the HP Spectre! I've had this laptop for about 2 months now (use it daily for long periods of time) and I have had no problems at all. If you are in the market for a new laptop, this one is definitely worth checking out.

I was torn between this laptop and the Dell XPS. Both look sleek and hopefully they will be raising the bar on future laptop designs. I find most laptops today to be plain ugly. I purchased this because the specs gave me an i7 chip and touch screen for less money than the Dell XPS. After purchasing the product though I noticed the following: One - I started getting a Driver error almost immediately. Two - I don't really use the touch screen, and the tablet functionality. Three - the design is beautiful, however I did not like how the laptop backlight button had to remain on when the keyboard light was off. Also the outside seems fragile and prone to scratches if you are careless. Long story short.. I returned the laptop because of the driver error, but I did not get a new one. I am back to deciding whether to get the Dell (price still high), another Spectre, or even a Mac Air.

The HP Spectre is a great laptop! It's light, thin and really fast. I love the feel of the keyboard and the mousepad is large and easy to use; so easy that I no longer use a separate mouse. I use it mostly for schoolwork and personal things, including email, internet surfing, document creation, and social media. I think it's great!

This laptop, with its SSD, goes from shut down to browsing the web in about 10 seconds. It powers up faster than my smartphone. I can't say enough about the speed of this laptop. The versatility of it is fantastic, being able to use it like a tablet but still have all the perks of a laptop. Battery life is great, I travel sometimes so that is an important factor. I can go on and on so I will stop here!

It is fast. It is dynamic. It's easy to see the keys. The technology has changed for the keyboard and the utility of keyboard/mouse interactions. Commands have changed. Yet there are no instructions nor information about these things. The touchpad is too large and too sensitive to body heat; it responds to what it believes are touches when some part of your hand is near it. As a result, it will make changes to your document that are undesired or will take you away from your document and delete the content that you wanted to preserve. (Imagine writing a poem on a Facebook post and find yourself swept to two previous screens before.) It appears we've reached the age of using the touch screen more than the keyboard. I would recommend folding the keyboard over and use it as a stand for the screen, then use a mouse combined with the touch screen keyboard for more desirable results. Better than a tablet, this device is compatible with my backup service as well as the cloud.

We bought this to replace an older laptop purchased in 2008. We decided we wanted something smaller and more modern. This unit is very light and easy to carry, and it is very easy to use and works well. We do like the lighted keyboard. Highly recommended.
