It's a great laptop. Lightweight. Flipable into tablet. The cord is long & the battery life has been very nice....I have not timed it. So far my complaint would be the speakers.... Not so great & will crackle & do sharp S sounds.

I would love to say that I am 100% satisfied but I am not. Everything with this laptop is great except that it tends to run exceptionally hot (I exchanged the first one but it's the same with this one.) I also have brought it up to HP but there is no fix. The other issue is that some of my programs' shells are minute... I've spoken to HP, the program creators and Microsoft and no one has an answer. The biggest concern though is that the salespeople will tell you that it doesn't run hot (or shouldn't) but further delving into the issue shows that there is a pattern with many Spectre360 owners.

I found start up and initiation of the systems very easy. The HP Spectre works so efficiently and is impressive when presenting reports at class and in meetings. The screen touch feature makes this product so efficient. Thanks HP and Best Buy for introducing me to this new laptop.

The computer is very thin, fast and is in my opinion a great option for the bigger, bulkier, lap tops which do the same thing for more money .
When I compared features, price, versus the other major brand .I went with the with more ram, faster processor , and was thinner

I bought this in August for school. It is much better to carry around campus than my old laptop, and I really enjoy the tablet benefits (touchscreen, Bluetooth, etc.). The back-lit keyboard is also very nice. However, it has the most frustrating connectivity issues. It frequently loses WiFi and needs to be restarted to connect again. Also, the screen resolution does not jive well with many of the programs I use for school. Icons in SolidWorks and other platforms are incredibly tiny -- I have yet to find a solution besides squinting. The speakers could be louder as well.

First Class In Quality and Functionality

I just really like the 2 in 1 functionality of this Ultra Portable notebook. I go mine with Windows 10 per-installed and an I7 possessor. I also got a 512 SSD and 8 GB memory. It has a 2560 x 1400 touch screen display, that works with the digital pen I purchased. It has worked flawlessly since the day I got it. Microsoft worked closely with HP on this model to make sure it was tuned to perfection. This collaboration has resulted in a nearly perfect product. I had got the Dell XPS 13 before buying this, but had to return it because they had a lot of buggy drivers for Windows 10.

This was for school (CS), I liked that I had the option for 2-in-1 without sacrificing power like many of the other 2-in-1's out right now.
Only complaint, wish it had 16gb RAM on the 512 model

HP Spectre X360: Great high end 2-in-1

I purchased a refurb HP Spectre X360 with a 500GB SSD from Best Buy for a great price. After doing the basic setup of the computer successfully, I went thru all the HP Updates. I'd read some reviews that indicated a problem with wireless adapter driver (big problem because you've got no wired Ethernet). Thought maybe a new driver update had been posted to solve the problem, but not so - wireless wouldn't connect. Anyway, I went to another computer and manually downloaded an older driver from Intel website, copied to thumb drive, and installed it on the Spectre and success! Then configured the HP Updates to not auto update drivers. So far so good without any wireless connection problems. Just a word of caution for anyone who isn't comfortable with reverting hardware drivers......

I was skeptical first about the HP brand but looks like top has been improved since then. This laptop is fast, very easy to use and is ergonomically sound. FYI - Microsoft engineers worked on this laptop so it's a nice engineering piece.

This laptop is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. It holds a charge well, is thin and light weight. Such a fast boot up. It is powerful enough to run my main software, Autocad.

I love the design and build quality of this ultra book. It boots up super fast. Tablet mode is not that great due to the weight and size. The sound gets staticky/crackles often, due to bad drivers, not a hardware defect.

This is my 2nd one, I returned the first one for problems. This 2nd one is operating fine. It is incredibly fast and easy to use. I haven't used all the functions yet including the camera. I do love all the ports.

I had been thinking about getting a 2-in-1 for quite some time and was really dreaming about the Microsoft Surface, but just couldn't justify the price. So I went to the store to compare and walked out with the HP Spectre and am wonderfully happy with my choice. I do have trouble with touch pads so I have since acquired a wireless mouse and now I have tons of options to access everything I need.

I got this computer specifically for college. I love how thin and light weight it is, but still a sleek design. Fast processor is nice when I have multiple applications open doing my assignments and communicating with peers, professors and other college personnel. I love how when things slow down a little bit I can just 360 the screen and read my studies in a tablet mode or when I am watching a video I just stand it up have my own personal TV. A couple things I don't like is it gets really hot normally when I am charging it and continuing to use it, sometimes the two finger scroll isn't responsive. I haven't had enough time to fully utilize all it has to offer, but overall I am pleased with the product.

The HP Spectre is a really great laptop to have! Great touchscreen, fast processing speed, lightweight. The problem i had was with the audio and keypads though as keypads can get tricky (such as quotation marks)

I bought this to read music on. It is working well. The software needs a little improving but it is working.
The only problem so far is that the icons on some programs are so small you can barely see them. Some are 1/4" square. Others are smaller.
The hinge works great. I like the key board. I do wish it had 10-key but I can use the top row.
The touch pad is very sensitive and sometimes I go places I don't want because of that but I am learning to keep my touches intentional.
I like all the ports it has. That is what put this over surface for me.

This laptop has met and exceeded all my expectations. Apart from looking great and getting a lot of compliments its performs equally as great. As a student, I like that it is lightweight and compact and that it allows me to use it as a laptop to take notes in class or as a tablet when on the go. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a machine that has put a lot of thought into every inch of its design but that runs on a Windows OS.
