    The HDR is a great enhancement over my 3 year old spectre. I needed to upgrade from 8 gb RAM to 16 gb. Both were i7 processors, but i can see the difference the 16gb Ram makes. Im a big fam of the HP spectre, i didn't even consider another brand even though the Samsung 13 pro is cheaper.

    Great laptop. I purchased a HP Spectre for my grandson before he left for college. Just what he needed. I chose this computer because I had purchased the HP Spectre for my other grandchildren, it’s lightweight and there has never been a problem.

    Overall Great laptop, very fast on heavy use, battery life is about 6-7 hours depending on how you use it. Pen works great but I don't use it much. only drawback is, there's basically just 1 USB and 1 USB-C, wished it came with a hub.

    The pad on the laptop was defective from the beginning but still usable. I purchased the service and repair so I took it in about 3 times and it was never fixed. Paying $200 a yr to have this plan and for it to be useless is a total waste of money. Their service is terrible (s/w pavilion location) they mailed out my laptop and was returned in same condition, then they made me spend two hrs while they did updates only to end up with the same problems. I have to use a wireless keyboard and mouse in order to use this laptop, not convenient when you're on the go. Waste of money.
