Perfect gaming laptop for an avid Star Wars fan. My 14yr old was in love at 1st sight and has been inseparable since. It's fast enough for him even though others have complained about the speed

I did buy it open box. Someone had returned it. It seems to have a hard time booting up. It will get to the log on screen very fast, but it booting up processes after log in is a very slow process. Other than that, love the design of this laptop. Star wars fans will love the look and feel.

I"ve got to say, this guy has a Star Wars theme, 6th gen i7 core, AND a dedicated Geforce graphics card for under a grand. You probably could have stuck this thing with a 5th gen i3 and no graphics card for the same price, and some guys would have still bought it for this price. My only qualm about this is that Windows still does updates and restarts without your permission. Other than that, awesome laptop.

i needed a good laptop for colloge to use programs like photoshop and other programs and for sometimes gaming it's a really great laptop not the very best when it comes to gaming cause it wasn't meant for hardcore gaming but it's pretty decent for gaming and if you love stars wars like me than this would be perfect the keyboard lights up red also the keyboard it's really smooth everything overall the theme of the computer and everything else about this computer it's pretty good

I would recommend this to anyone because it is a very good gaming laptop to have. It might not be the best but is very good.

We've gone through a lot of low end computers in our house. This computer is the best I've had. It's fast, looks great, and does everything I need it to do.

After my old laptop broke I knew I needed a new one that could handle everything from school to work. The second that I saw this lap top in the store I knew I had to have it. The specs are awesome and to top it off its Star Wars! The laptop feels durable unlike the 2 in 1 that I had previously which was a major plus for me. I ended up purchasing the matching mouse as well to complete the set!!

Great computer. It has lots of memory, big hard drive, fast processor, internal DVD, CD drive. It was a little troublesome to set up at the beginning. And it would have been much nicer PC if it had the touch screen feature incorporated for Windows 10... I might switch to Windows 7... Other than that it is a good purchase! HP should put out more PCs with other Star Wars characters...

Bought as s Christmas present and son loved it. Saw it first on qvc and almost bought it there. Glad I checked here first. Best buy has 8gb ram and i7 processor qvc had 6gb ram and older i5 processor. Best buy had a better computer at a lower price.

Awesome laptop can run a good selection of games smoothly on low to medium settings, gorgeous design awesome matte finish just all around awesome laptop, but unfortunately I got the bad one in the bunch and it had a hardware issue so I had to return it, but don't let that stop you from getting one I honestly think that I just got unlucky and got a bad one I don't think they all have the same issue give it a try and if anything there's always a 15 day return period

I really wanted a "gaming" computer that could keep up with 7 days to die, this was was the perfect price point and can keep up with the game much better than my previous labtop. Don't really care about the starwars stuff on it, but the red glow is cool on the keyboard

I was looking for some newer tech to replace a couple of 8 year old laptops that should keep me up to date for a few years. I was planning to replace the 1TB hard drives with 500GB SSD Samsung drives. They work well for what we do i.e. e-mail, surf the net. We really don't put the processors heavy use, but I was getting tired of waiting several minutes for boot times. With the SSD drive I'm getting 5 seconds to sign on and 8 seconds after sign on, so 13 or 14 seconds to get on line vs at least 2 minutes and shut down is faster too. Only problems where when changing the hard drive HP makes you remove the bottom instead of having a separate access point. And reloading the operating system when its looking for the 1TB drive, but we figured that out with a quick question to the Geek Squad.

This is a solid laptop with good specs. Of course, you should know you are paying extra for the Star Wars branding and could get a laptop with similar specs at a cheaper price. I have had no problems thus far other than some software issues that are unrelated to the laptop itself.

The Hp - Star Wars Special Edition 15.6 Laptop is a great laptop. The special Star Wars additions are fun, the backlit keyboard is very helpful and the overall performance of the laptop is great. Gaming works great and the storage should be perfect.

Great price, neat unit, being a Star Wars fan, it was the number one choice
