This is a lot of computer for the money, and is essentially an updated version of the old "netbooks" that used to be on the market. The screen resolution is not excellent, and the storage is not very quick, but what do you expect for the price?

Great laptop if you need to travel a lot, very light and works well. A little slower than I would like, due to the processor (my regular laptop is core i7, so it's much faster), but good enough for the work I need to do on-the-go.

I love my new laptop. Wonderful size and perfect for doing assignments.

My 10 year uses this computer and really has not downloaded much of anything, but it eats up storage like crazy and then keeps locking up. First it locked up and somehow the Geek Squad guy got it working to discover that it was taking an upgrade from MIcrosoft.......yeah after two weeks of use..... Then yesterday, it went grey screen and while I kept turning it off and powering it back up, it would not clear......8 times.......took it back to Geek Squad and they got it to reboot fully and it came back fine...... Sick and tired of this thing just causing one problem after another ........junk !!!

This was just what my wife needed, she needed a small, lightweight, good laptop. It meets her needs for her work & Internet use. She loves the color!

An excellent laptop, just right for basic programs.

I am in sales and this fits the bill for my needs. I wanted a basic inexpensive laptop that's on the compact side for when I am out in the field visiting customer sites & potential new clients. The internet is not the fastest, but it works well enough for me. You will not be able to run multiple programs at the same time without lag, that will be rare for me anyway. The main programs I use on the Stream are Salesforce, LinkedIn, and my work email. I picked this laptop out because of the size, keyboard, and it is purple. This is NOT a replacement for my personal MacBook Pro & my work laptop; it is simply as an accessory for a road warrior. Also; it will make a great laptop for students, extra computer for households with(out) children, and people like my Mom that only surfs the web and pay bills online.

The bigest mistake ever never been able to use it is to slow and never been able to work with it

I bought this computer for my daughter for personal and school use. I didn't want her on my PC when I need it. Although it is a decent computer, it takes forever to connect to Google. She tries about 30 times, walks away does something else opens it back up, and after about 5 more tries it finally connects. No other computer in the house has that issue. They are all HPs. I am computer savvy and cannot figure out for the life of me how to fix this issue. She is young, so easily frustrated when it doesn't work. Can't say I blame her. I wouldn't recommend for that reason. She does not need much memory, so for her that's fine.

Any Windows 10 computer with only 32GB of flash memory will not have enough memory to download any updates to Windows 10. You will only be able to run the version it comes with - no updates.

Was great computer but now it shuts down out of nowhere when working. Maybe it's overheating so i bought a colling pad and am hoping it fixes the issue

This is the 2nd time my HP has blacked out, 2 different laptops. I am not happy about it at all and conveniently it always happens at the one year warranty over mark.
