Bought the laptop to replace an Asus T100 that stopped working with the keyboard after several years of use, and took forever to recharge through mini-USB port. The HP far better suits my needs since I never took advantage of the tablet capability or touchscreen. Really like having a far more powerful charger, and more usable keypad. Only thing I didn't like about the HP was having to mess around for the first few weeks to get rid of pop up ads, something I seem to need to do on every HP we buy. Certainly, the amount of time is related to my lack of capability; others might solve the problem right away..

Picked this up for a 10yr old and she couldn't be happier. I was surprised at the build quality - very sturdy compared to other machines in this price range. Would've like to have seen 4gb of RAM, though.

I purchased this laptop because my old laptop was over 15 years old and stopped working. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted something I can use to work from home and access my online modules for school. This was a perfect solution!

Very good value for the needs of my kids in high school. If you don't need a large storage hard drive and just a basic mobile laptop for school work. Everything in my daughters school is done through a cloud so a large hard drive isn't needed for us. Very lightweight and portable. Good secondary laptop.

This is one of the best purchases I've made. This notebook is lightweight, holds battery life long, and is blue (my favorite color).

I purchased the HP Stream for my 9 year old daughter for improving her research and writing skills. all of the apps/software included are quite user-friendly, and the size/weight of the computer is perfect for my youngster. I would recommend this machine as a "first computer".

My daughter had a problem every year with her laptop and ingot sick of it costing more to fix than a new laptop, so I decided to go bare bones. It is perfect for a high schooler.

Needs more memory as my daughter learned pretty quickly. Boots up fast, but quickly needed to add a sd card to boost the memory so updates for windows would take place. I would look else well for a laptop with more memory.

I already own a desktop for my big tasks, but wanted to un-tether from my desk for some easy coffee shop work - Word Processing, spread sheets, email etc. This is exactly the machine I was looking for. It has enough power to word process and check emails, while playing spotify in the background. It also has a large enough HD that I don't feel I can't save anything on it.

Can not beat the price! Storage size is limited !. Perfect if you are looking for a light weight, easy to use laptop,

My HP Stream is definitely what I was looking for: a small laptop without a bunch of features I didn't need. I use it primarily for e-mail and taking notes, and it has worked fine in that regard. I have encountered a few problems when surfing the net but not really anything I haven't experienced with my other laptops.

This laptop is perfect! Amazing quality and great screen. Super light easy to use and love it for travel. I wanted a small laptop this one is the best I use it over the many others that we have from Best Buy. Love it!

Bought this for my teenage daughter, she is entering junior high school and needed something for basic schoolwork (word processing, online research, etc). So far it has proved great. Screen is HD which is a nice plus. Compact size is something she likes as well

It's lightweight so easy to carry around and works great for a student.

I love this laptop. Of course I found it cheaper on amazon after purchasing it. However, I was iffy about how to put insurance on the laptop etc. Anyway, it's light weight so it is easy to bring with you everywhere. Internet explorer has given problems ( what else is new ). It's a small screen. However, I like it. It fits right on my lap. I like windows. It has an App Store not like apple of course but I have netflix and hulu. OH! The speakers are too low. If you're using headphones your are good. My only complaints would be internet explorer and the fact that the volume for the speakers is way too low. Lastly, the camera takes sh!tty pictures but I didn't purchase this laptop to take pictures.

Nice price for the HP. Great for students, small and compact.

I love the color, the size, and overall capabilities of this laptop. It's perfect for my needs.
