8GBs of RAM is not enough, for even a base Windows 11 install without games. The RX6550M definitely packs a punch but in games like Cyberpunk 2077 you are gonna have to lower settings quite a bit to get a decent frame rate. The laptop overall is very well built, thin, light, and very quiet. It’s a very good laptop, but don’t pay 800 for it. Wait to see if this or other laptops with similar specs go down in price otherwise this is a waste of money.

Pretty good little laptop does what i need it to first one so i probably can't be talking (would highly recommended adding an extra 8 gigs of ram tho made it much smoother

Amazing laptop. Very fast and honestly amazing for school! the battery life kind of sucks, so that's why I took a star away. Other than battery life, this laptop is amazing for the price.

This laptop is use specifically for gaming and i love it! It gets the job done. The battery doesn’t last very long but it’s good for minor gaming

Great Laptop. It does everything I need to do and then some. I upgraded the ram to 32gb, it’s extremely fast. When it’s on sale for under $500, it’s a no brainer purchase. I do moderate gaming on this and it’s perfect for it without breaking the bank.

It's a pretty good laptop. doesnt overheat. good ventilation. & gets the job done. I would recommend you upgrade the ram to 16gb like the previous review recommended. The 8GB Ram WILL Pxss YOU OFF eventually.

Great laptop! Right out of the box I was able to start downloading games without issue. There are 2 slots for RAM so it can be easily upgraded also. 10/10 I am very happy with this purchase.

Perfect picture quality and very fast. Ive never owned a gaming laptop before but it has a lot of internal space as well as many external options. More slim than some of the other units as well

This is the laptop to buy for a budget gamer, definitely needs a ram upgrade though but isn’t too difficult to pull off at home. I use it for school as well, it’s a bit heavy to carry around all day and it’s slightly large for backpacks. Also the screen color accuracy is not the greatest, it’s something you won’t really notice until you compare with a second monitor, but again, for the price this is the laptop for a budget gamer.

Bought this for temporary gaming use. its a good laptop i did however need to upgrade the ram to run some of the games i play but since doing that its worked great

good stuff just need to upgrade ssd and memory but run well as is

The laptop is excellent for the price it was offered at. I hope the current specifications allowed for a higher memory upgrade than maxing out at 16 GB. Still excellent product. So far, I have not tested it's capability for what I purchased this for, hence the 4 stars. May change it later.

Fantastic laptop. Superfast with all games played on it. Multifunctional, works great with all school work and dictation. Would recommend for those looking for a great gaming laptop.

I repair and sell PC + server/enterprise equipemt, with that said not a big fan of HP generally. But this laptops, build quality for the price and offering is hard to pass up. The usual deck flex, woble from screen/screen quality isnt good as most complain about, yes while loud fans those complaining have no idea how loud laptop fans can go, play with an MSI with turboboost going the vicrus is pretry quiet compared to other brands. This laptop if found on sale is great for spare gaming laptop on the go or first time PC gamers, or folks wanting to play esports etc. it plays all the stuff i generally like to play. Upgrade the ram to 16 or 32 and bump the NVME to a 1tb -4tb drive since theres only one slot/space sadly is my only gripe.

I got this on sale for under $500. I would recommend it if that is your budget. There is some mild stuttering but I plan on upgrading the RAM. It runs the games I've tried fairly well. the build quality is also better than I expected.

I liked the up to date hardware and the ability to upgrade for more ram. Its a great laptop for the price would reccomend for gaming and daily tasks. I would suggest upgrading to 16 gb ddr5 ram if used for gaming though.

Rverhthing functions amazing. After several minths this laptop runs all games, COD, arena breakout and much more at high graphics settings. I purchased RAM from best buy as well and uograded it. This thing is lightning fast!

Its a pretty awesome computer. I have already edited some videos and gamed a little and it performs great. I like how thin it js too.
