This has been my 4th Android phone upgrading from an LG G2 which was pretty decent. This phone does everything you need and want it to do. The interface is nice and fast. The screen is very nice, the camera's are very good and the HTC camera software is actually nice too. The Harmon Kardon software helps bluetooth streaming and headphones a bit. There are two settings you can switch on and off to your liking. One setting will make bad sounding headphones sound decent. But if you have good headphones, you will most likely leave the stage option off. They also come with pretty decent set of HK earbuds, better than you would get on any packaged phone. You also get free HTC advantage which will replace your cracked screen free of charge within 6 months of purchase. I actually used this service. On top of the performance, it is a sleek nice looking phone.
pros:
good sounding speakers
fast interface
good battery life
good sound when streaming bluetooth
pretty good camera
good supplied earbuds
micro sd capability
sleek and nice looking
not an apple
hd voice with other sprint phones
cons:
without a case that bulks the phone up, it is pretty slim and slippery to hold.
battery is non replaceable
getting to the micro sd slot requires a pin like tool

This by far is the best smartphone on the market. The audio on this phone is remarkable. The 3D surround sound that comes from the dual front firing speakers is amazing. I still catch myself wondering if this is really a phone. Aside from the audio, the speed is awesome, the battery life is really great considering it can't be replaced. That is the one thing that I do miss is the ability to pop in another battery if needed. I have been with HTC for many years. I jumped bus and got the Samsung S5. Two weeks later and I now have this phone. I still wonder, just what was I thinking when I got the S5. If you are looking for a beautiful, well built, smart phone with all the bells and whistles that also has the most incredible sound of any phone on the market, then this is it. Definitely worth the extra $30 to get the Harman/Kardon Edition.

This phone is exactly what I was looking for when I take my day to day uses into account. I was scanning the market and the phones popped up to me when making my decision. The Samsung s5, the note 3 and this amazing and finesse looking phone called the HTC m8 Harmon kardon edition. A lot of people have Samsung phone's which are just fine but I was in the market for something that looked the part and acted the part for what I was paying for. The Samsung s5 was intriguing for it had a decent amount of functions and it's water resilient build was tempting. The only thing I didn't want was it's plastic rubber build. It felt like dropping it would diminish its impressive features. It was also the same price as a note phone at the time, making it a investment I might had made. Moving forward , the note 3 had a sturdier build, sleek design and a very close performing operating system when you look into their processors. not to forget Its innovative screen thats...well a note pad. Yet its build quality was not enough to suffice and looking at the screen size again, it was not something I was willing to carry in my pants while running around at work. I then came up on the htc m8. This version had the operating capability of the s5 and as beautiful a screen as the note 3 but what also gave me the finish quality that felt just right in my hand. Did I mention it has some of the better speakers integrated in a phone? Maybe a Harmon kardon edition will make all the music lovers love their music that much more with upgraded speakers and a neat onyx gold to show it off. The battery life isn't the greatest I know but it comes close to the s5. I use it on full brightness around 4 hours of gaming time a day and I still have 8 hours to go on with for important work calls and emails as well as social media surfing and streaming Pandora all day in my car's Bluetooth. Now you just have to choose between which interface you prefer, HTC or Samsung. Last but not least, do you really need a better camera or will the m8's decent camera work, while its front facing camera is there to take the best...hate to say it....selfies and groupies

I've had many different phones in the past Samsung, iPhone, LG, and so far this has been the best phone I've ever owned. Had a few issues updating to Lollipop, and some other small issues that's been resolved (mostly googles problems) that's why 4 instead of 5 stars. Audio is amazing love the Harmon kardon music even streaming sounds great on Bluetooth, in the car, and headphones. H/K headphones that came with are great. Awesome sound and quality. Love clarify but don't like or use soundstage makes music sound like there's echo's. Hopefully they do another h/k version when ready to upgrade. Def reccomend this phone, battery lasts all day also using normally.

Previously owned an Evo and an Evo Shift, I considered both HTC and Samsung products prior to upgrading from my Galaxy 3. The One M8 offers me the speed, sound, and display that I was seeking. As a practical preference, I would prefer to have the power button on the right side of the phone rather than at the top, and swipe left to right versus up and down to open lock screen, but otherwise I love this phone.

I had the HTC One M7 and absolutely loved it. So, when the M8 came out, it was a no brainer, and true to style, this phone is awesome. It runs smooth, it's a beautiful build, and I haven't had a single complaint yet.

Since this year HTC didn't make much improvements on the HTC One M9 I thought it would be a good time to buy the M8. Specially at such a cheap price. The phone works great, not disappointed at all!

The phone is great. The service sometimes may not be great. Playing music on it is also great and plays loud. I have unlimited data and i hate it when at night my wi-fi turns on. I also downloaded a flash light program and it gets hot after like 15 minutes. But overall very great.
