Upgraded from the M7, love HTC. Camera= works great despite what some reviews might say, some "noise" in certain lit backgrounds, but my wife's iphone 6 pics had same issues. the front selfie camera is amazing no problems. Software= Love it, blinkfeed is awesome for personalized news,the customization with themes, icons, wallpapers ect is crazy and awesome. Super fast speed no lagg at all. Can do Wifi calls which is nice where I live cause I have bad cell signal. Sound= above and beyond anything i could imagine coming from a cell phone, the boomsound speakers sound crisp, loud and clear, and there's an option to switch to headphone mode which sounds amazing, especially where there's surround sound. Otherwise there music or theater mode when listening through the speakers.I can keep going on, its an amazing phone. I compared with the s6/s6edge which are awesome phones also but HTC had more options for what I was looking for: sound, battery, although not QHD still amazingly sharp screen which I could not tell apart from the s6, customization, microSD expansion (i use for music) and Ohoh protection= 1yr free phone replacement if you F up and break your phone

Great Battery Life. Love the screen and the HTC Android software is best in the game. Camera is much better than initial reviews due to software updates from HTC. I also love the long support that HTC gives their flagship phones. It would be a perfect 5 if it had OIS and wireless charging (I would rate it 4.5 if it gave me that option).

Since everyone knows about iPhones, I will say that this phone seams like an "s" upgrade (i.e. iPhone 5 to 5s refinement). This phone is not a vast change from the m8,but it does improve on a lot of little things. Like a little better refined design and shape. Not as slick and thick as the old one. A little bigger battery, better processor, and a more rounded picture taker (still not better than the Galaxy S6 camera). The camera is good enough for my needs. If you have an M8 you may not be too compelled to upgrade, but this phone is more compelling if you are coming from the M7.

No surprises. It's screen is slightly larger and the speakers still sound great. It's a slightly lower vibration than I prefer but it's fast and you get a free 32GB card with it. If you have the M7 or M8, there's no surprise with the M9.

I upgraded from an HTC One M7 so this was definitely a big upgrade for me. My wife had upgraded to the M8 Harmon Kardon Edition right after Christmas so I was able to compare the differences. I had heard a lot of complaints regarding the 20MP camera and initially when I began using my phone I was a bit disappointed with this camera's performance. After a few updates I must say I am very impressed with the cameras performance! It is definitely an improvement over the 4 Ultra Pixel camera found on the M7! Performance wise the camera is much faster than my M7 and slightly faster than the M8. Battery life so far has been great! I am a heavy user, texting and updating on social media and my battery consistently last till the end of the night! I'm a night owl and typically don't go to bed till Midnight and my phone is typically at 20%! Very happy with this phone and I am expecting even greater things with the M10!

Super quick, all day battery life, fantastic sound, great pictures outdoors and inside in low light. Make sure you apply all the updates first before you load all your apps. Bluetooth radio stronger than M7. Juat the right size and feels good in my hand. Fits comfortably in front pants pocket. Recommend clear, thin skin to show off the beautiful gold accent on aluminium finish and to make sure it doesn't slip out of your hand.

This pbone truly lives up to its hype. Besides the speed and ease if use this phone has a great phone and an amazing fx photo editor.

I love the speakers. I can hear the music while working over 20 feet away. The camera is really sharp and has some fun features. The battery lasts really long too

I had the original HTC M7 and was very impressed with build and UI. The stereo speakers and the powerful sound they emit is what drew me back to the M9 version. The 32gb built in memory and the additional option of up to 128gb micro sd card is also a plus. Although the IPhone 6s and Samsung Galaxy S6 may have a large following, you need to physically compare each phone and listen to the speaker sound and UI and you will agree that this phone is more superior. It really should have been a Google Nexus Phone because it's not drowning with HTC branding apps.

I have had the HTC evo, HTC M7, M8 AND NOW THE M9, THIS IS MY FAV OF ALL OF THEM, LONGER BATTERY LIFE, BETTER PHOTO QUALITY, BETTER SOUND, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PHONE

While HTC did fix many of my complaints about the M8, the easily scratched screen & camera being 2 of the major ones, the M9 brings little new to the table. It works smoother and a bit faster, but nothing really new or exciting. The Wonky and relatively unreliable Sprint Spark Network does not help matters and frequently drops calls while switching towers. This phone is best used to actually make phone calls on Sprint in CDMA only mode, making Spark kind of a joke, though it is very fast when the internet is working. Overall, if you have an M7, this is a great upgrade! If you have an M8 and are bored like me, then you will enjoy it just fine =)

This phone is great so far, I've had it for about a month and a half, no crashes, it does consume a lot of battery power. On a normal day with minimun useage, no games, just text, social media and some internet browsing, it can use up the battery very quickly. Sometimes just hovering over the screen it will select an option that you just hovered over without touching the screen. I am still unable to communicate with my computer via USB cable with this phone to copy pictures and videos to my computer, the HTC sync manager really sucks. The sound on the phone is one of the best in the market, very loud and crisp, no speaker distortion when playback is at full volume.

Great camera, boom system speakers....and 5"screen!

Not an amazing upgrade from the HTC M8, but judging this phone as it is without comparing it to it's predecessors it's a great device. Fast, good memory, great front camera. Just wish there were more accessories at launch, but that will come.

Previously had the HTC EVO 4G LTE but it was time to upgrade so I stayed with HTC and chose the One M9. So far, I'm very pleased. Sound is much better on this than my last phone.

I payed $1 plus taxes for the M9. Screen is nice, phone not too big, no app issues so far and the camera is great except for no slow motion. Service is noticeably better than the M6. Worth the upgrade.

The HTC One (M9) is a great tool for being up to date. Its screen is easy to read and the phone (audio) quality is great.

I switched from Samsung to HTC (M9), for a change. I like the phone. It is sturdy... has great look. It is sufficiently heavy, so that I have less chance to drop. Only one problem that I deal with it is frequent call drops and very frequent Data disconnection, which I did not experience in Samsung phones.

Camera is a little tricky to use but it takes great pics. Sound is better than the M8. Nice changes that make the phone more user friendly.

My experience with the HTC One m9 are very similar to the ones with my previous HTC phone, it does have a lot of enhanced features and functionality. I acquired this phone for that purpose, I enjoy the familiarity of it. I use it mainly for work and I have yet to be let down.
