Posted .Dear Customer,
It is too bad to know what happened to your incredible Huawei Watch 2!
We know this situation can be very frustrating, however in order to correct it please follow the steps bellow:
- Check whether you have installed third-party apps or watch faces such as WearADay.
- Third-party watch faces are not approved by Google and can drain the battery very quickly when in ambient mode.
- If you find that you often wake the screen unintentionally when lifting or tilting your wrist, open the Android Wear app and touch click to enlarge to open the settings screen. Under Device Settings, select the connected Huawei Watch and turn off Tilt to wake screen.
- On Android phones, you can open the Android Wear app and touch click to enlarge to open the settings screen. Under Device Settings, select the connected Huawei Watch, and then touch Watch battery to view detailed battery statistics.
-If a third-party app is using too much battery, try uninstalling it and see if your watch's battery life improves.
We hope you find this information useful, in order to properly assist you, please give us a call to 888.548.2934, one of our representatives will be more than glad to assist you.
Thank you for being part of the Huawei Family, we remain at your service.

Only 3 weeks, the screen unresponsive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wore it only about less than 3 weeks, not even everyday, maybe only 6 or 7 times. The screen is unresponsive. Hard reset, factory reset didn't fix it. Best Buy won't replace it, asked me to contact Huawei.

No notifications or vibrations after a while
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this watch looks just beatuiful, there is something not right working after a while. I do not get any notification on the watch (text..emails..etc) and even incoming calls are on the watch but the watch is not vibrating. All settings are correct. Did trouble shooting with Huawei. I returned the watch after Huawei said it might be defect. I got replacement from best buy.. and while all worked for ONE DAY .. it all got back to no notifications.. no vibrating. As much as I love the look... its failing and failing again and will return for good!

Having fun with this watch.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Polar m200 and it was wonderful in tacking heart rates and activity stuff but that was it. I always wanted a watch to put my music on without having to run with my phone so I just happened to log onto BestBuy.com, saw that Huawei had a new watch, looked at the specs, saw it was on sale that day for $179.00 and I said "let me try it" because it held music & it was affordable. SO OFF TO BESTBUY I WENT! LOVE IT so far. Not necessarily in love with the look but I'm a tall woman so the size isn't an issue but I wanted something more dressy and the Classic for some reason looked more masculine to me so I bought the Sport model. I have no issues so far after one week except one and that it lags a lot when scrolling but since I don't sit up all day scrolling through the watch, it isn't such a big deal. I have a Huawei Note 8 phone and I LOVE IT so this works fine with the phone PERFECTLY! It has Android on it so thats kool & I tested the accuracy of the HRM on a run and compared it to the readings on my chest monitor and it was almost on point. (Watch HRM's aren't as accurate as chest strap ones are but this watch was very close. I miss the sleep tracking on this though. I put music on it & the music only cut out when I ran under a power line but thats with all devices I've used on my run. Notifications are fine and the speaker is loud. Fits comfortably and securely. If it weren't on sale for $179.00 at the time, I wouldn't have bought it because a smart watch is unnecessary to me but for that price, it made me consider. All in All, I give this an 8 out of 10. 2 point deduction for the laggy scrolling, absence of sleep tracking and actual watch band selections and bulkiness. I WOULD recommend this for the price I paid but not right at the $400.00 price tag that it's gone back up to. I guess if you are a fitness watch person then price of this isn't an issue for YOU because this IS as good as a Garmin or FitBit.

The best Android Wear watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Huawei Watch 2 Classic was the 6th Android Wear smartwatch I tried. At nearly 1mm thicker and with the shape of a bowl, the Misfit Vapor looked like a hockey puck. The Fossil Q Venture was feminine; the Fossil Q Explorist was huge. The Asus Zenwatch 3 was too large in diameter and I could't get past the enormous buttons and lack of future support. The LG Watch Style battery died after about 8 hours of light use. But the Huawei Watch 2 Classic? Perfect. It's about the size of a standard mechanical watch, so it won't stick out like a sore thumb. The screen is a little small in the body thanks to the bezel, but it's the bezel that helps give this the look of a mechanical watch, too. The design and body look classy enough to wear with a suit, but also not out of place at the gym. In short, it nails it in the looks department. Good luck finding a competing watch with all the bells and whistles, too. The heart rate monitor is great for use in the gym, and continuous heart rate monitoring is a nice touch. It has standalone GPS, so you can map your run/walk/hike/etc, without needing to take your phone. NFC means you can use Android Pay, which is a minor-but-nice feature. The speaker and mic work well, too. The screen is gorgeous, well-lit, and auto-brightness works like a charm. Performance is great (once you disable "OK Google" detection - an issue with Android Wear, not the HW2C). But most importantly, the battery life is excellent. Not excellent if you disable half of the features; just excellent, full stop. I charge the watch from 7:00 - 8:30pm every night, then put it on my wrist and use the watch for sleep tracking, tracking my movement and heart rate. I get up at 4:45am and go to the gym for an hour, using it to track my workout. Through the rest of the day, I use the watch for notifications (typically over 100 a day), interacting with the watch frequently. That's a pretty heavy amount of use, but by the time it's going back on the charger, the HW2C still has about 20-30% battery left. In short? There are a lot of options out there, but the HW2C is probably the best one. It's nice having all the bells and whistles, but nicer that you can use all of them without worrying about battery life.

Posted .Hello Aaron,
We are glad you are enjoying your wonderful Huawei Watch 2.
Experience the marriage of cutting-edge technology and traditional watch-making, designed to match different styles. GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, and a Bluetooth antenna are integrated under the watch bezel. This reduces signal interference from your body and optimizes signal reception.
Welcome to the Huawei family!
Have a lovely day.

Slower than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy this because it was on a great sale, but even with the discount it is still a 200 plus dollar watch. For this price, I want things to work well. There are many things I like about the watch but also a few things that are just disappointing. This is my first true smart watch although I do have a Garmin Forerunner 235 that I've been wearing. That watch can receive notifications but not respond or interact in other ways. I've been using the Huawei watch 2 classic for about one week now. A few things I like: Very nice build. Lighter than expected. High resolution and durable screen. Seems like a quality device. It has more fitness reminders than the Garmin for things that I can do during my work day (squat challenge, more advanced move alerts, etc.). Nice colors on screen. Now the few things I don't like: First and foremost, the lag. It seems very slow. I push the app button on the watch and I wait probably 3 seconds before the app menu pops up. Opening apps can also be slow. It also lags when trying to access the screen menus. You can give a screen swipe to access the watch face menu, quick settings menu, or notifications. I often swipe more than once because I'm not sure the gesture worked, but then the screen slowly slides in. This is a big issue for me. It just seems slow. I haven't added any third party apps to slow things down. It was like this right out of the box. Also Google assistant is very slow and doesn't even work sometimes. I also wish it would integrate more into my phone apps. I have tried to use the squat challenge, for example, through the Google Fit watch app. I can't find if or where this is loaded into Google Fit on my phone. I'd like to track my progress somewhere else besides my watch face. I really want to like this watch. It is beautiful and the high definition watch faces are awesome. I'm just really disappointed by the slow responsiveness and the lack of watch to phone integration (that I've found so far). Unfortunately, I may taking this back to the store unless someone could tell me that I just got a lemon and they are actually faster than this. I have my doubts, though, because other reviews commented on the lagging speeds. I'd like a watch that could do more than my Garmin but I don't think this is the one. My Garmin at least responds instantaneously when I push the buttons and navigate the menus. It isn't touch screen and not as high definition, but it does its job well. I'll wear it a little longer before I make my final decision.

Falls Short
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am writing this review after 2 months of use and finally ended up returning it. 1st wants to talk about the pros. -Ceramic bezel -NFC = Android Pay -Build in Speaker -Nice Charging Cradle -Will get you through a Day and into 2nd (sometimes not so much) CONS: - Battery life sometimes for whatever reason will not make it through a day -Extremely Laggy did several resets and restarts still at some points not usable -Crystal scratches easily Shame since the 1st version of this watch was amazing. Sapphire Crystal and help up very well. This uses the wear 2100 CPU so same as other high end model but for whatever reason, not fun to use at all. Maybe its too many radios, software not optimized, whatever it is this watch falls short. Do your self a favor and look else where.

Posted .Dear customer,
We want to thank you for your review and for your kindly feedback.
Regarding the issue of the battery of your Huawei Watch 2 we kindly suggest you to follow the instructions mentioned below.
Check whether the rapid power consumption is caused by a third-party app.
In the Android Wear app, touch settings icon to open the settings screen. Under Device settings, select the connected HUAWEI WATCH 2, and then touch Watch battery to check detailed battery statistics
.
If there are other third-party apps consuming a lot of power in the background, but you never or rarely use them, it is recommended that you uninstall these apps.
Check whether Package Installer or Android System is at the top of the Android Wear app power consumption list. If so, it could be that the rapid power consumption is caused by a rare software issue. Please restart the watch to fix the issue. Please also update your watch's software at the next available version release, as this will also fix such issues.
Check whether the watch has undergone heavy use. The watch's standby time will be reduced in respect to how much it is used. The following situations may result in reduced battery life:
Prolonged use of the watch to play music or make calls.
Prolonged use of an exercise or map navigation app.
Prolonged use of power-intensive third-party apps, such as Google Fit or Runtastic.
Frequent message notifications.
If the issue persists we kindly ask you to give us a call to,888.548.2934, one of our representatives will be more than glad to assist you with this issue.
Please do not forget that Huawei provides a 12 months warranty from the date of purchase.

Best watch for Android phones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my first original Huawei Watch because it looked stylish and I could dress it up or down. I always got compliments when wearing it. Unfortunately, the speaker stopped working correctly about a year and a half after I bought it and I got a replacement Huawei Watch 2 since Best Buy didn't carry the other watch anymore. You can talk to Google, install a Roku remote app in your watch, find my watch app. Since it uses Android Wear app, there's a lot of apps you can download. I had bought a Samsung Gear S3 because It looked a little more like business attire, but after a day of using it, I realized it was lacking a lot of good features the Huawei Watch 2 has so I returned. I just hope Huawei releases a new version of the original watch soon, since this watch 2 is more like a sporty look. It would be great if the watch could have a notification to let you know when your phone has been disconnected. I had forgotten my phone at a store and I didn't realize it until later.

Great watch...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received this gift from the wife for Christmas. I did do my research on it and suggested it as a gift and she pulled through. Smart decision. Watch seems very durable, I have banged it up on a few walls already and not a scratch. It has gotten wet from washing my hands and no damage. It has all kinds of neat features which I am still figuring out. One drawback would be the battery life, It lasts about a day and a half, but I charge it daily, as I don't carry my charger and would need to charge it halfway through the second day. But I charge my phone daily now, so not a big issue. I also like that the band is leather but the inner part is like plastic, which leather looks nice and plastic makes is comfortable when exercising. All in all great watch!
