The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars, it’s because I can’t text or make calls from the watch since IPhone has a lot of restrictions. Yet I still wouldn’t change it, but I do wish I was able to make call and text messages from it using my iPhone

Posted .Hello Hamadis! Thank you for the preference on Huawei devices, we are more than glad listening your feedback with the your HUAWEI WATCH 2. It can be used with iOS devices (iOS 9 or later). You can download the iOS version of the Android Wear app from the App Store and pair your watch with the device. However, not all of the watch's functions will be available on iOS.
On a HUAWEI WATCH 2 paired with an iOS device, you can track your workout data, change watch faces, and access HiVoice assistant. You can also download standalone third-party apps from the Google Play Store on the watch. On the 4G edition, you can make calls without the need for the phone nearby.
However, certain functions are not supported. For example, fitness data on the watch cannot be synced to the phone, mobile payments are not supported, and the watch cannot be used to answer calls made to your phone. Thank you for supporting Huawei. P.T.

HR and GPS works fine, so does the music. But battery lasts less than 18 hours. Will exchange or return it..

It is too bad to hear that you did not have the best experience with your amazing Huawei Watch 2!
Regarding the issue with the battery kindly let us provide you the following information.
If the standby time is less than one and a half days, perform the following steps to check for the cause.
Check whether the rapid power consumption is caused by a third-party app.
In the Android Wear app, touch the little gear icon to open the settings screen. Under Device settings, select the connected Huawei Watch 2, and then touch Watch battery to check detailed battery statistics.
If there are other third-party apps consuming a lot of power in the background, but you never or rarely use them, it is recommended that you uninstall these apps.
Check whether Package Installer or Android System is at the top of the Android Wear app power consumption list. If so, it could be that the rapid power consumption is caused by a rare software issue. Please restart the watch to fix the issue. Please also update your watch's software at the next available version release, as this will also fix such issues.
Check whether the watch has undergone heavy use. The watch's standby time will be reduced in respect to how much it is used. The following situations may result in reduced battery life:
Prolonged use of the watch to play music or make calls.
Prolonged use of an exercise or map navigation app.
Prolonged use of power-intensive third-party apps, such as Google Fit or Runtastic.
Frequent message notifications.

I stopped by a best buy in the cities to check out the watches. Employee said this watch wasn't very good and I wouldn't be able to reply to text messages. They talked me into a different watch which I returned and ordered this one. It does have a keyboard to reply to texts. It has a speaker to talk on the phone. It does my steps, sleep and heart rate. It's a awesome watch!

Easy to use and intuitive on the functions but compatibility limited at least on Google Pixel phone.

The only weakness I've found is when playing music from the watch the processor can't keep up with screen updates. I suggest you turn off the always on screen when playing music.

I find the plastic to feel cheap and uncomfortable, but the band is replaceable (which is exactly what I'm doing). The watch seems speedy for the most part, doesn't lag often.
