As a veteran of the US Navy I luv action adventure war movies where the Navy is portrayed in a positive light like Hunter Killer. Great submarine movie that is pure fun. Any veteran will enjoy this movie.

i was skeptical with this movie for a long time and finally decided to buy this for cheap. this movie surprised myself and my wife as i told her - this is a modern day Crimson Tide - this movie's so good i recommend this to anyone all day!

The Movie itself was ok, don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad movie, it's just good. Where you are truly treated and get every bit of your money worth is the 4K copy, it's one the more visually stunning movies and you will notice it from the opening scene. A good movie that shows what 4K can do.

Campy fun movie. I'm sure lots of people have lots of problems with parts of this movie. Its not high art or anything, but its fun and I really like submarine movies.

This 4k is look good and very sharp image, the movie was ok, not bad but ok..

Those who like the military/war genre of film will enjoy this one. Gerard Butler did an outstanding job as the lead character, and the supporting cast did a fine job as well. Good action, suspense and tension in this one. A must see.

Really enjoyed this movie in my home theater set up as 5.2.4. Great Dolby Vision implementation and displayed really nicely on my OLED. The eight channels were very immersive! The intermittent LFE was awesome and well done!

Not worth seeing for action lovers. I liked the action scenes but ....

It's about a Russian president kidnapped by Russian military commander trying to start war with United states then United states in a secret mission go save the Russian president. Then Russian military save the United states submarine and Russia is the best country now. Not buying it. dont normalize the enemy.

Gerard Butler's movies all feel the same. But they are entertaining.

One of the best cold war movies I've seen in a very long time. Had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Great script, character development and stunning visuals. I enjoyed it very, very much. Highly recommended.

Gerald Butler delivers again as at submarine captain, that evades the Russian Coup trying to overtake the government. Seals swim the Russian president to safety & then the action begins!!!!

Hunter killer is a top notch submarine movie gerard butler and gary oldman give very good performances in this top notch submarine movie if you liked the hunt for red october you probably will enjoy this movie.
