Control module wired in easily enough and required no programming to operate my new fan/light combo. The remote comes with a cradle that mounts over your existing switch, to keep it from getting lost. The remote allows you to quickly turn on the light by simply pressing either light control button once, but will allow you to brighten or dim the light if you press and hold them. Great item that allows me to control my fan and light from the comfort of my bed!
