This is a great product if you on a MacBook and want to use a mouse or any other attachments. It doesn’t take up much space and plugs right into the side. They sell some of these for a couple hundred dollars. I paid I think 60 for this one. But my daughter leaned on her MacBook Cable, I believe it’s the thunderbolt cable and when she did that connector on this broke as well. I looked for another one but they didn’t have anything so I bought her something so she could at least plug in her mouth till I can find another one. But I really do like this item. It works exactly like it supposed to. But like I said you just have to be careful with it. Anything Apple, the cords are definitely fragile and need to be handled with care. I am beginning to believe that Apple does this on purpose. And I also think when you spend $1500 on a computer that it should come with the items needed for it to work I looked for another one but they didn’t have anything so I bought her something so she could at least plug in her mouse till I can find another one. But I really do like this item. It works exactly like it supposed to. But like I said you just have to be careful with it. But, loving the MacBook Pro, and she is definitely getting another one of these for her senior year. We just need to locate it.

It’s crazy how few institutions have embraced USB-C. After a number of presentations that ended up being slide show free (not by choice), I decided it was time to buy an adaptor. This is sort of absurdly expensive, but it does the job. I opted for this model because it works with any device. I think the model designed specifically for the mbp is a poor long term investment.

I have NO complaints about this item. It was a replacement for a previously-purchased model from another source. The old one got EXTREMELY hot and failed totally after less than a month of use. This one is only mildly warm when in use and there have been no other issues...like losing connection frequently, etc. Great purchase!

I got a MacBook Pro and needed to be able to hook up an external monitor and some options for a standard USB ports. I picked this up because it had the ports I needed, plus it was small enough it is easy to take with me. I have used it for years now without any issues.

This product is great! I love that it is compatible and east to transport. This gives me the ability to use multiple usb devices at the same time while using my Mac.

The compatibility to charge, cast to HDMI and use USB-A all at the same time is amazing, Would benefit from more ports, or card ports.

I wanted something nice looking to connect to my new MACPRO, this item is beautifully designed, it also works perfectly.

I recently went Mac after years of debating whether it's worth it. Finally purchasing one I realized I needed one of these bad boys. Which I recommend over other adapters as this has everything you truly need. Also space grey perfectly matches with my space grey Mac pro.

I bought this for my 2017 macbook pro and this is something that you need to have. For the price this is great because it is included with an HDMI port which typically cost more. Overall a great purchase

Needed a USB-C hub for work and this little thing worked on the first try. Since these new Macbooks only have USB-C ports, this hub provides me with regular USB hubs, a USB-C for your Macbook charger (not needed to hook up to monitor) and an HDMI port. I wish they had another model that incorporated ethernet as well, but not a big deal as this is super compact and takes care of most of my work needs. Highly recommend.

It has all the ports needed to make the Note 9 Dex a whole experience. Unfortunately this hub won't charge the phone. So you will need to buy an additional charger to keep your phone charging. That's is the only downside. I had to return it and got the Samsung Dex pad. That was just perfect!

I took a chance since they don't make too many devices for my tabpro s. This has worked perfect for it allowing me to charge my windows tablet while plugged into an external monitor.

Simply put, it does what it says if does. Through one usb-c out on a MacBook of one thunderbolt 3 Port on a MacBook Pro you get two full-size USB 3 ports, a usb-c out for passthrough charging, and a full-size HDMI port for up to 4k at 30 hz video output.

I was able to plug in an HDMI monitor and 2 usb devices, a mouse and keyboard all at the same time. I tried to use the additional C-Hub slot and it would not stay connected for more than a second. It also heats up, but I still use it all day.

With the MacBook having only a single port, some sort of workaround is necessary. The Hyperdrive Type c hub not only expands the number of ports for your MacBook, it also gives you all the ports you will need in ordinary use. Recommended.

This hub has been great for setting up my home office. I can leave my power cord, usb connector for my mouse and keyboard, and hdmi cord all plugged into the hub and simply unplug the hub when I transition from my desk to another location.

Wanted to get something for the pixel slate, to allow me to connect a mouse, external display, and charge at the same time. And this works perfectly.

While I dislike the fact Mac always requires you to buy another piece, this is quality product with a reasonable price. it's nice to have all the connections in 1 without a lengthy cord to get tangled.

I bought this for my son for presentations. I thought it was a little pricey but he said it is perfect for what he needs.
