A: Yes . It works great. The only thing it’s a little bit fragile. My daughter dropped her charging part of her MacBook Pro and it bent the thunderbolt cable and when she did that it also broke the cable on this. We have been looking for another one cents. But it did everything it’s supposed to. I recommend it. But just be aware that with anything Apple, especially when it comes to cords or anything like that, it breaks easily.

A: I have a MacBook Pro, it Does not work well with mine. Will not keep charge on computer. It’s ok to use for a little (Like to hook up printer to print something) but definitely not for long time.

Awesome but it broke. It is fragile.
This is a great product if you on a MacBook and want to use a mouse or any other attachments. It doesn’t take up much space and plugs right into the side. They sell some of these for a couple hundred dollars. I paid I think 60 for this one. But my daughter leaned on her MacBook Cable, I believe it’s the thunderbolt cable and when she did that connector on this broke as well. I looked for another one but they didn’t have anything so I bought her something so she could at least plug in her mouth till I can find another one. But I really do like this item. It works exactly like it supposed to. But like I said you just have to be careful with it. Anything Apple, the cords are definitely fragile and need to be handled with care. I am beginning to believe that Apple does this on purpose. And I also think when you spend $1500 on a computer that it should come with the items needed for it to work I looked for another one but they didn’t have anything so I bought her something so she could at least plug in her mouse till I can find another one. But I really do like this item. It works exactly like it supposed to. But like I said you just have to be careful with it. Anything Apple, the cords are definitely fragile and need to be handled with care. I am beginning to believe that Apple does this on purpose. And I also think when you spend $1500 on a computer that it should come with the items needed for it to work properly. Presentations are now possible!
It’s crazy how few institutions have embraced USB-C. After a number of presentations that ended up being slide show free (not by choice), I decided it was time to buy an adaptor. This is sort of absurdly expensive, but it does the job. I opted for this model because it works with any device. I think the model designed specifically for the mbp is a poor long term investment.

So much better than previously-owned one.
I have NO complaints about this item. It was a replacement for a previously-purchased model from another source. The old one got EXTREMELY hot and failed totally after less than a month of use. This one is only mildly warm when in use and there have been no other issues...like losing connection frequently, etc. Great purchase!
