I own the large cylindrical Hyperice Vyper and have found it very useful for my legs, but too large and cumbersome for use on upper shoulders and neck. When I saw this item, I decided to try it. I love it!! I use it 7-8 times a week on my shoulders primarily, and neck. The shape allows me to focus on the specific areas of muscle tension to break up the knots, and the vibration is much more effective and less painful than using a lacrosse ball. With regular use on my shoulders, I have reduced the frequency of tension headaches and reduced my shoulder pain considerably. You do have to get used to it though as it may feel a bit hard during the initial use. I almost gave up but with regular use, I got a hang of it and now it's the most used massager at my home. I like it so much that I took it with me on my last two business trips to help with the neck and shoulder tightness I get from sitting in uncomfortable airplane seats. I accidentally pulled my muscles while picking up a very heavy equipment 5 months ago and have been having pain in my shoulders and neck ever since. It gets worse after sitting for so long but this massager has been a blessing. Fantastic for getting in on tight muscles. You will want to make sure you have a solid surface to use this on, basically a concrete foundation. At level 2, this thing shakes our house. Level 3 is almost impossible to control. My wife kind of hates this thing, but I love it. The unit feels heavy, which helps to drive it deeply into the muscles that need work. If you have severe muscle pain, tightness, or are recovering from a traumatic injury, don't waste time with the cheap imitators. The Hypersphere has dramatically improved my quality of life and improved my flexibility while recovering from my knee injury. It is absolutely worth every penny. I will be using this massage ball continuously for many months to come. So far, with a couple of weeks of regular use, I can recommend this 100%.

The size and flexibility of this massage ball is perfect for use in the office or at home (provided you have a carpeted or softer floor) and works excellently to relieve sore arches after a run or bike ride! The battery life is great! I haven't had to recharge it yet and I've been using it pretty regularly for about a week. Charging is very quick and easy as it uses a standard micro USB plug instead of a proprietary cable. There is a cord included in the box but if you're like me and have many others already plugged in, it'll work perfectly with those cables as well. I highly recommend this for active people that are on the go a lot and can't take a traditional foam roller everywhere they go!

Long battery life. Great to work out a sore neck/back. Feels heavy. Rubberized finish. Seriously stronger than I expected, even after reading reviews that highlighted how powerful it was for the size. Perfect gift idea for any occasion. Kind of pricey but worth it with quality and ease of use.

I bought this for my brother who has chronic pain, and he carries it with him everywhere and uses it every day. It's easy to throw in his bag and take it with him to work, and then bring it home and continue to use it. The device is just large enough to fit in your hand, and you can position it under your feet, legs, butt, behind your back, or hold it on certain spots for a few minutes. It's super strong and holds up well, even when you drop it on the floor. Based on sales and reviews, it seems like most people prefer the Mini to the larger version, and I'd have to concur. The handheld ease of use, lower cost, and yet still super strong power makes it a solid choice for pain relief.

I generally don’t write product reviews as one product that works for someone may not work the same for someone else. I was however compelled to write a review about this Hyperice Mini massager ball. This thing is so incredible and helps you really work those hard to reach muscles. I use it mostly on my back by placing it in the floor and rolling on it wherever there is a problem area. After suffering chronic pain for years and being athletic at the same time, this is a life saver! Highly recommended product!

The 3 different speeds and size of the ball helps work into areas of the body that a normal foam roller can get to. The vibration is also very relaxing and helps muscles release easier

Recently purchased this massage ball and it has been so easy to use. I have been using this all over my body. It is so easy to carry with you and it is small and easy to take on the go. I would suggest anyone to give this a try the vibration of the ball helps a lot

I purchased the larger one like this but it was so strong it made my brain shake. This one which is much smaller is just right. Easier to carry and take with you if needed. I keep mine charged up so i can use it when ever i need it.

Super hyper vibration. Extremely happy with purchase. Comes with micro usb charging cord. 3 levels of vibration high super high and hyper high. Charge lasts many hours still haven't had to charge.

Not your typical massage tool. The vibration is more jostling and kneeding than just a vibration and it feels incredible! Keeps a charge for a long time too.

I already owned one of these and bought this for my brother, for the holidays. He has plantar fasciitis and I'd read, via reviews, that this could help. I figured, at the very least, he'd like the cool look of the product for his desk (he's always worked from home so he's got a proper set up) and that he could run the massage ball under his feet while he worked. He loves it - he did say his wife wanted to steal it from him - but he said it works great - although the lowest vibration is plenty.

I got this as part of a package deal. It was smaller, and more powerful than I thought. Easy to charge and use.

I’ve owned several trigger point products they’re great, but Hyperice Hypersphere mini is a godsend. Wether your sitting in your office chair, laying in bed, or watch tv this bad boy will relieve soreness on those hard to get places. I own the Hypervolt as well, but I don’t dare use it on my back. Our chiropractor would often suggest using a lacrosse ball to help knead hard to reach spots, but with this little baby, we could take that concept to the next level. Bought as a gift for my wife in order to bring a little piece of the spa to her for her birthday during the pandemic and we both have put it it good use almost daily. Also came highly recommended by our actual professional masseuse prior to making my purchase.

Overall, this is an excellent product. Good build quality, and the motor inside this massage ball is very strong. Works as advertised. It has been a good asset to my recovery routine and I've been using it multiple times per week. The one small flaw is that you are very likely to hit the "off" button in the middle of use. It would've been much better if the off button either had some sort of switch you needed to activate it, or a longer hold. It's a bit annoying when the ball continues to shut off while you're targeting a recovery zone. Otherwise, this is a 9.5 out of 10 product.
