HyperX Alloy Core Keyboard is Sick!
The HyperX Alloy Core keyboard is totally sick! It's got these awesome RGB lights that make it look so cool, especially in the dark. The keys feel super nice to press, and it's really quiet too. It's full-size, so I have all the keys I need for gaming and typing. Plus, it's super durable. If you need a new gaming keyboard, this one is the best!

This keyboard is okay. I've had it for about half a year and finally upgraded to something a bit smaller and more high end.
The keyboard is really big. I just don't have the space for it. That's more my fault than the keyboard for something to note.
The keys are not very clicky...it feels like they are floating in water. I like loud clicky keys that really hit when I press them. This is not that.
The lighting settings are pretty great and work well. There are many settings to work with.
Very easily gets dirty. The light chamber is under the keys...obviously, but a floor under the surface of the keyboard. So eyelashes, dust, and hair easily fall into the keyboard and block the light coming through. Makes it very hard to enjoy. I had to pop the keys off and clean this keyboard more times than I can count. I don't eat at my desk but I can imagine if someone does how many crumbs and stuff would need to be cleaned out...
Overall there are better keyboard but for $40 you get what you pay for. It still works after this long but I'm glad I upgraded to something nicer.

Despite its low price this is actually a really pleasant and good keyboard to use. I was pleasantly surprised. The rubber domes provide nice tactility and the full size allows it to be used for many different tasks whether it be work, gaming, browsing, etc. I like the media keys and they have proved to be useful. RGB is bright and has a handful of options to choose from. The build quality of this board is overall good, it's sturdy, but I just can't get past the low quality ABS keycaps. I didn't expect anything different for the price, but man they are easy to get messy even with clean hands. I still gave this 5 stars for price to performance. If you just want a simple, bright, good feeling keyboard then this one is for you!

I was in the market for an all around keyboard, just not gaming, but for office work too.
I love everything about it. The keys are very quiet, it has very nice RGB lighting. The price is great, and will buy another one.
For me the only negative I wish it tilted a little higher so you could see the keys a little better. The keys are concaved instead of flat which helps. It is heavy so it does not slide all around on the desk. and the rubber underneath helps with that.
I have the colors where they slowly rainbow through the keyboard. I don't need all the fancy changing of colors, the choices it has, is enough for me.
Everything works, so I am happy.

This Keyboard is perfect. it is A Fully customizable RGB LED Backlight Keyboard. Volume Keys. it has a Gaming mode , music and movies/videos media Control Center ( fast forward, pause/play and stop button. it is not a compact size it has more keys than other keyboards ( full size ) Its also affordable compared to other keyboards that do the same things, this one is in my budget and i can buy it. Its RGB Mechanical Stealthy Quiet Loud and clicky too and is not cheap compared to other materials used on keyboards. i have two of these and i love them.

I got this keyboard from my parents as a Christmas gift. It is the best keyboard I ever owned. There are nice rgb lights that you can change. If your a gamer I recommend the game mode option at the top where you change the rgb effects. Overall I think this keyboard is a great budget rgb 40$ keyboard.

I love this keyboard! I am a photographer who shares a space in the office with my wife, so having to send emails might be distracting however the sound of me striking the keys are relatively quiet. The feel of the keys are pretty sleek and are arched for a unique feeling. Build feels strong as well. Can cut off lights if too distracting. Highly recommend even if not a gamer!

This is a great gaming keyboard for those on a budget. The keyboard has some weight to it, and the keys have a nice tactile feel. RGBs are really nice and bright with different color options to cycle through.
This membrane keyboard is *slightly* quieter than a mechanical keyboard with tactile switches. Keyboard has a thocky sound to it, kind of like breaking Minecraft dirt blocks.

Hubby loves it! He's been using it for about a month now. He wanted something like this for the fun colors. This is plug-n-play, no software or settings controls required. It gives the option to easily change the color scheme, which he does periodically. And late at night, he doesn't have to keep the overhead room light on, because he can see the keyboard - being backlit (under-lit?) is a definite plus. This keyboard is also non-slip, it has grips on the bottom so it stays where it is put. All his previous keyboards moved a bit while he was using them, but this one doesn't. Well worth the price. I highly recommend.

Game from a Logitech G-15. Became interested in RBG keyboards after seeing some PC setups. Aesthetically, they look awesome so I did my research. Wanted a keyboard under $50. The two that consistently came up were the Corsair 55 and the HyperX one. Corsair 55 reviews came out on top every time but personally, the RBG on the HyperX looked amazing to me. Plus I don’t need to customize my light setup, or need macros. I love how it’s plug and play, has some media keys and the board itself feels and looks dynamite. Keyboard is super quiet to me and feels like butter typing. Highly recommended. Plus I got it on sale! Most likely will buy another.

Purchased solely for a gaming rig so I wanted something that felt like it would last a while and was responsive. There's quite a bit of travel for the keys so my fidgety hands aren't accidentally pressing keys. It's real sturdy and considering the price well built. I'm not too sure about all of the shortcut and remote keys because I don't use them.
Although I don't use it for writing, it feels comfortable enough for lengthy use. The RGB feature is pretty customizable, but RGB isn't for me--if it's you're thing, this is a go to.
Unless the cable gives out, I have a feeling this will last for years.
Coming from mechanical, this will surprise you..!!

This keyboard will truly surprise you. I'm coming from a mechanical keyboard for which I paid roughly 6x the price of this keyboard. The main reason I wanted to go away from mechanical was because I've been working from home for the past year (like many people) and have to attend a lot of meetings online. The mechanical keyboard was quite loud even with the silver switch and I would get really conscious typing on it while talking with other people. So, I was looking for a keyboard that would still have somewhat of that mechanical feel but would be quieter. I first tried as many mechanical keyboards that I could get my hands on at the store but then I saw this on the side and started typing. At first, I thought this was a very silent mechanical keyboard. Then I learned that it wasn't mechanical at all. Wow! This was the one I was looking for.
I got this and can tell you that it feels awesome to type on. It is better than my $180 corsair keyboard (to type on). The RGB lighting on this unit is excellent as well and although it's not up there with corsair, I don't really miss anything. For gamers out there, I know a lot of you are looking for mechanical keyboards because that's the default now for gaming, but I urge you to try this. I haven't felt any difference in gaming with this and I can't help but think that I was probably needlessly spending money going after mechanical keyboards for the past decade because I play games occasionally.
Anyway, mechanical or not, this is a fantastic all purpose keyboard. Good for typing, good for gaming, and fantastic RGB which lets me dim the lights at night. Give it a shot.

I will start by saying in certain modes, this unit does have a slight squealing sound to it. I can't hear it over the fans of my desktop, so it's not an issue for me. The keyboard other than is fantastic. I only keep it on a certain tint of green to match my desktop lighting and other PC peripheral lighting. It's easy to use and has a nice weight to it that resists slipping around. I've never had an RGB keyboard or even one that is backlit for that matter, so this thing is awesome for me.

I recently purchased a new keyboard and mouse combo, and I’m really pleased with the performance and overall quality. The keyboard has a comfortable layout with responsive keys that feel great for both typing and gaming. It’s quiet, yet tactile enough to give good feedback. The backlighting is a nice touch and makes it easy to use in low-light settings.
Great backlit keyboard for the money w/RGB effects

This review is for the HyperX - Alloy Full Size Wired Gaming RGB "MEMBRANE" Keyboard. This unit is not for the serious gamer and does not have mechanical switches. It is intended for those who want a nice looking lit keyboard and more than just a static white light. The RGB functions cannot be controlled by computer software as it is a proprietary internal feature of the keyboard. With that said, it is really not a bad keyboard. It is weighty and not light cheap plastic. It stays in place and does not easily slide when typing. Key feel and travel are OK. It is not so sensitive to touch so it causes typos. There is enough RGB effects to please. However, the RGB is broadly zoned and there is no per-key RGB. The cord is USB A and long enough for desktop placement options. My wife wanted a lit full size keyboard with a number pad. After several months using this keyboard she is extremely happy with it and the RGB. There have been no issue and the works well. She is especially happy she no longer has to turn the room light on to use her desktop in the dark. "Happy wife, Happy Life". ;-)

The Key board has a solid frame, and the colors that light up are amazing w many customizable options that don't require you to program it on your computer. The key board itself is structured well with the "gel" or membrane, providing a satisfying feel. Besides that, the price is what really sells, an affordable option for those who want to save some cash in a very expensive world of PC (or console if youre wild). WOuld recommend for people who are starting in MnK gaming!
