I've been through many headphones in search of the best pair. I've finally found them, these have the best audio quality and comfort so far. If these break I will be purchasing another pair.

When my steelseries headset started failing I decided to switch to HyperX as I had heard a lot of great things about the brand. The sound quality is above average and the surround sound is quite immersive; however, the microphone quality is to be desired. It's a problem with most headset/mic combos because it's a lot of technology to shove into a small product. Overall if you want a headset that's going to sound great with games, music, and movies this is a great choice.

After a bit of research on headsets for my gaming pc, I chose to go with the HyperX Cloud Revolver S mainly for a competitive edge due to its Surround capabilities. It is still my 1st gaming headset & I will openly admit that I like it quite a bit! :) [Even if I'm not sure about whether Surround Gaming Headsets are bullcrap or not.] Nevertheless, this is a really good quality headset & the only complaint I have about it is the fact that the cable(s) for it might be sometimes be kinked if it's opened brand new out of the box. Aside from that, I totally dig this headset!

This headset is very comfortable and provides great audio for playing on Xbox One. For PC or PS4, take advantage of the sound card included because it has Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound.

I mainly purchased this headset to use with my PS4, because it was supposed to have good sound when plugged into the controller. I will say, it does sound impressive when used in that way, especially when comparing it to the HyperX Cloud II, which I have also used for this purpose. You can use them through the USB sound card, but the 7.1 setting doesn't work well for that. I recommend these if you have a larger head size. I do not recommend them if you have a smaller or even medium size noggin. The spring mechanism that is supposed to adjust the size of the headband is way to loose, and the headset ends up being large fit no matter what. I like the sound enough that I fit a piece of padding between the steel and the headband piece, but not everyone will want to take the time or effort to do that. They're also very heavy for headphones (in my opinion). My brother, who has a larger head than me, absolutely loves them. I have also used the Cloud Revolvers on my PC. At first, the sound card's 7.1 audio setting did not seem to work right, and everything sounded as if it was coming through a tunnel. I finally figured out that I had to go into control panel on Windows and set it to 7.1 Audio instead of Stereo. It would have been extremely helpful if HyperX made this clear from the start, but eventually I got the sound card to work properly. It was just a hassle. Overall good sound on PS4 through the controller. Sounds good on computer after annoying set up. Comfortable if your head is the right size and shape, but too big for smaller heads.

The 7.1 surround does not work on an XBOX X!! Bummer as it doesn’t state that until you open the box. Really well made and very comfortable

This headset is amazing and the sound quality it good its comfortable and everything a headset needs. Beautiful boxing and a just overall great headset!

Excellent headset with dolby surround sound for the PS4. Only criticism relates to the steel headset itself; can feel somewhat loose on the head.

These are absolutely the best headphones I’ve ever tried. Hours of use and still no headache from being too snug. The sound is incredible.

I am using this device as my primary audio for my desktop. the 7,1 sound changes the game. It is a bit expensive but worth the money!

This headset is amazing. It has clear and amazing sound. The comfort is also really noce so it will last for multiple hours of gaming.

Directional sound is good and feels comfortable. I just wish there was separate volume controls for game sounds and voice chat.

This set was my first true gaming headset after coming from an old $30 Turtle Beach. I bought thinking that it would work perfectly with my Xbox One, but I should've done my research first. It does connect to the Xbox controller via stereo 3.5mm jack, and I'm sure it'll connect to a Switch the same way. However, there are no controls on the line nor on the headphones which was the big let down. For Xbox, all audio controls and chat/game mixing (including muting) happens through the Xbox settings. No quick way of doing it. You'll have to access the settings to do any kind of changes. Can get pretty annoying while playing games and you have to mute the mic really quick. You also don't get the 7.1 surround feature because Xbox does not support usb audio connection. A PC or PS4 which enables usb audio connections can make use of the sound card in the dongle and actually enable this feature. The usb dongle also has the missing audio controls like volume and mute. The positive about this headset is the sound! It absolutely sound incredible in game. Once I had the mixing right through Xbox and COD, lows sounded great. Mids and highs were clear as well. If you have a PC or PS4 I bet this headset will be amazing. If you have an Xbox, look for the Cloudx Flight, which is what I exchanged this with and never looked back since.

Great sound but mic sound quality is not really all there.. very comfortable especially for ppl with glasses..

So when I put this headset on, the headband felt great. It was light on my head. The problem was the ear cups position on my ears. They did not feel nearly as good as my astro a50s with the leather ear pads. The earcups felt loose and put pressure on my jaw which really ruines this headset. The metal headband is not a problem as people are saying it is. Though, when you touch the wire coming out of it, it does make a loud noise inside your ear cups. I was planning to buy this headset for my xbox one x and I decided to return it within the first 5 minutes of using them due to ear fatigue. I do not recommend them.

I needed a new mic for my gaming and wanted a new set of headphones incorporated into one. The surround sound is clear and allows me to detect in-game where the action is. For example, I can hear the direction gunshots are coming from, and either run towards them or hightail it out of there. The included controller allows me to mute my mic when I need to with the press of a button. Both sound and volume control are located on the controller as well. The mic is flexible for exact positioning to and from my mouth. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

A reasonably comfortable headset with excellent sound and voice quality. Have only had it in service for two weeks. Time will tell with longevity.

It would be better if the mic had more folding capabilities, but an overall great headset

I traded the G933 for this. My only wish is that it was wireless. Other than that, sounds great and is very comfortable. The mic is awesome as well.
