I have spent some time using this mouse over the past week and wanted to post my review. Overall, I would say this mouse is better than expected for the low price of $50. I will post a simple pro's and con's list to make it easy to see what I think about the HyperX - Pulsefire. Pros: - Packaging is impressive, as always with HyperX. - Braided USB cord is nice. Good length on it too. I think 6 feet. - Snappy feeling to the buttons. - Seems sturdy when using it. Does not feel plastic-y or cheap. - Top button for quick change in sensitivity. 4 DPI sens levels pre loaded. I use the 3rd level. - Scroll wheel is smooth and quiet. No unnecessary clicks when scrolling. - Price of $50 is actually really good for a legit gaming mouse. - Simple and symmetric design. - Rubber traction areas added to the sides of the mouse help keep it in hand. Cons - The two side buttons are a bit small for me. I use M1 and M2 buttons all the time, so I like them to have more of a presence on the mouse. - Not sure if the rubber traction coating will eventually attract gunk or grime.

I wouldn't think about getting this mouse professionally just by the look of it as well as the brand, however when i got it and actually used it i came to love it and although there isn't many programmable keys it still works great for what i need it to.

This mouse is great for FPS games! I also use it for third person over the shoulder games. I love how you can change the DPI by a simple click of a button. With four settings that you can change to, it's definitely worth the investment into the PulseFire. My shooting skills have increased drastically due to the things I can do with this mouse. I definitely recommend it.

This mouse is not too intense. The red lighting is sweet, the dpi switch is great and for the casual gamer it doesn’t have too many buttons. It would go great with the HyperX cherry switch keyboard BestBuy sells!

This is a decent starter gaming mouse. It works well and functions at least as good as more expensive gaming mice.

I love everything about this mouse. It fits my hand well, it weighs just right and it has pre-programmed DPI settings. No drivers needed, and it has a red back light. I just wish it was RGB, but it is worth every penny.

This HyperX mouse has a good feel to it fits my hand well , best of all just plug and play you don't need to install software like you do for razer products for it wo to work , has adjustable dpi buttons for on the fly gaming and to thumb buttons overall a good mouse

the mouse works great on a mouse pad. did have an issue with the high gloss white desk. Mouse didn't seem to track. Mouse pad was needed.

Its the perfect size for small to medium hands. The buttons are all very well placed, and the quick-change DPI button works great.

for the price i paid I'm pretty happy with how this mouse has performed. it has the right amount of buttons to key map for the game i'm playing. and it feels comfortable for long game play

Bought this for my son he is a gamer, this was a great purchase for any gamer, the mouse is smooth and very precise for the price .

Work okay, but seems to not be as sensitive as Apples magic mouse, but it's solid for sure. Highly recommend!

The sensor is good, the weight is good, the only thing I would have liked( but knew prior to buying it) was the DPI had pre programmed intervals to choose from instead of being able to set it myself through software.

After using a few different gaming mouses I feel like this one is the best fitting for my hand. Good for people with big hands and even has 4 different DPI settings for whatever weapons your trying to use.

This mouse has great button feel. The clicks are solid and firm. Its comfortable in the hand, the extra side buttons are great for customization, its a nice weight and the pointer accuracy is fantastic.

Originally bought a Razer brand mouse, but it broke after years of use. Bought this to replace it and its great. Love the functionality and the feel.

For the price, this mouse is absolutely well worth it. The custom DPI settings and simplicity make this mouse one of the best around.

I bought this mouse for my mobile setup. I use it with a Dell Inspiron 7577 gaming laptop and the red on the mouse matches perfectly with the red in my laptop. Very smooth movement and great for FPS games (which I mostly play). The only down side is that the material feels slightly cheap. I'm used to using a mouse with adjustable weights so this one feels very light and fragile. I got over it eventually, but worth mentioning. Overall a great choice for an inexpensive mouse. Originally $49.99 but I bought it when it was on sell for $45.99. Not a huge discount, but always nice to save a few bucks.
