It is easy to setup and use. My podcasts sound much better since purchasing the HyperX. I highly recommend this product.

If I could give it a 4.5 I would. been a great sounding mic. the lack of software support and noise gate suppression makes this mic very sensitive. The newer version should have software to elevate that issue. Still working after a few years of use.

In this day of Zoom meetings all day long, one of the best things to buy is a good, electret condenser microphone. The HyperX does a great job - it's easy to use, easier to set up, and works like a dream. It has four different sound fields that are quickly selectable, and while on the large side, it isn't quite as massive as some of the others out there. It comes with its own shock mount, so you don't pick up a lot of stray sound from table tops, etc.

This microphone is amazing and is pretty cheap. Its even better than more expensive mics I own.

I love my quadcast, I have it mounted on a microphone boom and the people I play video games with say that the microphone sounds very clear. I love the red back light and the overall appearance is very nice. The only down side is the micro usb on the back when you have it mounted on a boom, the wire out the back has to take a severe angle but doesn't actually touch anything.

Great mic for the price. Easy on/off with a tap of a finger. Cool red light to match the setup. But also the downfall that if your not using a red set up it doesnt really flow to well with the set up.

Terrific sound, and super easy to use. A true plug and play. Using this to record a podcast and some vocals and the sound is crisp and clear. I got an optional pop-filter for it and it works great!

The HyperX Quadcast condenser microphone is a good mic for beginners, however there are better ones on the market. Let me explain. The benefits of the Quadcast mic include the fact that it’s as simple as plugging it into a usb slot and being ready to use. It comes with 4 polar patterns: stereo, omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional. All four of these seem to work decently well. The Quadcast is also fairly easy to use for beginners. It comes with a gain knob at the bottom and a tap switch on the top to toggle mute, which turns off the red LED when muted. The Quadcast’s build quality, however, is slightly worrying. It’s a pricey USB microphone and yet it’s very lightweight without the stand. The quality of the sound is easily outdone by microphones with a lower price, like the Blue Yeti. In terms of sound quality, the Quadcast is about on par with the Blue Snowball, and the build quality feels more fragile than you’d expect. Not to mention if you use the included mount adapter to attach it to a mic arm, it can be difficult to get the microphone to face the direction you want since the shock mount is screwed into the Quadcast as if it weren’t meant to be removed. All in all, the Quadcast is a good beginner’s microphone because of how easy it is to set up and figure out how to use. However, I believe the quality of sound isn’t worth the price tag.

Very good mic. I'm not an AV expert but the sound seems very good and being able to turn it on & off by touch and see so graphically and easily that it's on or off is great. (looks cool too)

This was very easy to setup and has a very good quality. It has a nice weight and does not move when you mute the mic. you can adjust the gain on the mic and sound quality is great.

Excellent capture quality - rivals the Yeti on performance but looks much cooler in person and the build quality is superior. Sure it's not RGB, but that's not the point. Red is very cool !

I had the Hyper X Cloud II headset but the microphone quality wasn't great. I picked this microphone up and my voice quality is so much better in discord. Easy to setup and use.

I like the design and colorway of this mic. It is solidly built. Plug and play with different modes to use. Just a great desktop microphone for streaming and teleconferencing.

It's such a nice and clean product. It's really easy to use and easy to setup. The sound quality is crystal clear and i love the switcher that allow you to switch for the different mode.

Bought this to replace a mad mic on my Camera and possibly use for some podcasting in the future. The sound quality is awesome, completely plug and play, and looks amazing!

Excellent Audio quality and a swappable base depending if you want a boom arm or a stand. Adjustable input to stop the mic picking up your breath, and is an overall go-to choice for streamers and content creators or someone like me that just wanted to sound better for my friends while playing games. 10/10
