We have the WiiU version, and I bought this game for my son with his 3DS and it was an instant hit. Just like the Wiiu version, with a few bonus differences like being able to instruct your allies to go to certain areas of the map to engage the enemy.

I have this game on the Wii U and I wanted it on the go. The graphics are not as good as on the Wii U, which is to be expected. However, I still think it is a good game. It performs best on a New 3DS.

Hyrule Warrior Legends is a solid port of the Wii U version with plenty of additional and exclusive 3DS content. It doesn't have the same pop as the Wii U version, but does the trick if you are looking for a musou game on the go.

Game is challenging with advancement through levels, and allows new stories and getting character advancements. There are mini adventures that are done. Needless to say he loved it.

This is a standard type of "warriors" beat'm up game with characters from the Zelda universe. I don't typically like the other warrior games but because the Zelda characters were in it I thought it might be a little better. It wasn't. If you like those types of games, its great. If not, stay away. If you have a original 3ds do not buy this game. The frame rate is horrible and the character pop-in is bad. They should have said this game was a "New" 3ds exclusive because it is almost unplayable on the original.

I'm very impressed with this port. Never have I seen a game that is ported from a console to a handheld be this good. I love how it has all the dlc and adds new characters and new adventure boards!!

This game has everything the WiiU version has *though with scale down graphics* and even more stuff packed into it! So for the lack of graphics, it added more gameplay along with the original, with even a mini Fairy type game!

This game was purchased as a gift for my brother in law. He quite enjoys the game, however he has mentioned that it was not quite as good as Ocinara of Time. Even so, he played it through to the end and liked the story line.

I was expecting more. But its hard to put a game that looks so good on the Wii U and make it look just as good. The play is not that great. The camera is not that good either.

I love this game. I just beat this game and the second one last week. Sure it may not be called strategy game but the story and everything else it really good. I hope they make a third one.

I enjoyed the Wii U version greatly, and was only saddened that I couldn't play it on the go. Now this out, I can! The only drawback is the slight downgrade in graphics quality, but oddly enough, an increase in frame rates.

At first, I thought it was just a pointless mass enemy fighting game, but it is actually very fun. There are mission objective within the game. Would have been better if you can co-op.

This game is different from all the other Zelda games that I have played. It's more of a button masher and there are no dungeons to explore. It is still a great game in my opinion.

Great game for any fan of the DW series of Musou games. Link and friends shine in this as they smash through thousands of enemies and unlock a ton of cool weapons and gear.

Its a good game, but sadly does not seem to run as nicely on the original 3ds XL as the New 3ds XL. Expect game to slow down if you don't have the New 3ds XL.

Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U is a fun mix-up of the Dynasty Warriors series with a Zelda take. If a hack-and-slash Dynasty Warriors-like game is something you'd enjoy, this game is highly recommended.

This game is an amazing port from the original Wii U title and introduces some new features! Well worth the replay as this game is timeless arcade hack and slashing!

I am not a huge Legend of Zelda fan but this game was just plain great. Its simple controls and many many enemies on the screen lead to a fun gaming experience. I

The new additions are great and welcome, but you should own the Wii U version too, this is better for on the go and finishing things but I prefer playing the Wii U one due to the superior engine.

Obviously not as awesome looking as the one on the Wii U, but this is an awesome 3DS port. Feel like it could of been better if it was exclusively designed for the new 3DS, with better graphics.
