Very fun game. Love Zelda and dynasty warriors mix gameplay. Runs well on the n3ds.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is a good portable version of the original Wii U game. Positives include the new versions of the characters from the Wind Waker while the same screen and use of buttons can be a headache sometimes. Overall, a good selection for a fan of LOZ or the Hyrule Warriors Wii U.

While this game was developed for use on the New 3DS XL, 3DS XL, 3DS, and 2DS, it was developed for and works best only on the New 3DS. Anything other than the New 3DS will only play in 2D and at around 25 fps. On New 3DS hardware it runs at 60 fps in 2D and 30 fps in 3D. That said the game plays true to the Wii U version released in 2014 and has all of the content from that game as well as additional content for this game as well. The game includes DLC codes for both a free 3DS theme as well as character content for the Wii U version. While you unlock the additional characters on the Wii U, you do not unlock the story modes for those characters found only on the 3DS. I love this game, it's just too bad I have such high level characters on the Wii U and now will need to level up these characters as well. Still the game is a lot of fun and great when on the go.

As a zelda fan this is a good addition to my collection. Nice game.

If you have a Wii U, you should definitely get this game there instead. Much better experience. But if you don't, this game is a lot of fun and worth checking out if you are a Zelda fan and/or like Dynasty Warriors games. Works much better on the New 3DS than the original 3DS.

If you like the Dynasty Warrior games, you'll like this one, esp if you're a zelda fan. It's nice to have a game like this on a portable console to get a quick fix of hacking and slashing monsters. Don't expect much storyline here though.

If you haven't played this on the Wii U, this is a great port of the game. The only caveat is that if you're playing on an original model 3DS or XL, then you'll have a worse experience. The game wears thin after awhile, but it's good for a playthrough. Recommended.

good portable version of the game. not dissapointed at all

This game is great. It runs well on the New 3DS though other reviews put it down. If you consider what this game is accomplishing, it is pretty impressive. Plus, it comes with a code to download the new characters in the Wii U version.

The game is pretty good. There's a ton of content even though a lot of it is pretty repetitive. My only gripes are that it just isn't as nice looking as the Wii U version and there's a lot of pop in. I really wouldn't recommend playing it on a non-New 3DS.

If you liked the Wii U version, this is exactly the same game but for the Nintendo 3DS. The "3D" does work only on the "NEW" 3DS systems, but it starts to lag if too many enemies are on the screen. With 3D off, the gameplay is 60fps, while in 3D it decreases to 30fps. I prefer to play in standard, 2D mode but the game is still good nonetheless.

Adds tons of new characters, modes, and is a great portable game. The only downside is the game pretty much requires a New 3DS console as opposed to a standard one. As it runs extremely slow on older models

I haven't tried this on the regular 3DS system, but it runs great on the New 3DS. The included theme is nice, and the download voucher to unlock the additional content in the Wii U version is a plus.

The game looks alright with the 3D off. The gameplay is simple and easy to learn. I bought it for the character roster and because I only had to pay around $15 since it was on sale and I had Best Buy reward certificates.

Great game came with a lot of extra features that wasn't on the Wii U title. If you like hack and slash and dynasty warriors in a Zelda game you will probably enjoy this game!!

I bought this game for my husband bc he liked the version on the Wii U so much. And this way, he can take it with him wherever he goes. He really likes playing it. Great game!

I'm new to 3DS/Nintendo gaming. Was looking for a game with some fighting/leveling/quest style tasks, couldn't get into the Zelda game due to I never knew what to do next or where to go, lol. This game covered it all. Fairly simple can get challenging. Plus it lets u know where o go, you can even pick different quests during your battle, and it will out the way marker on that objective. You can scan amiibo (5 a day) to unlock rewards. I highly recommend this game. If this game had multi player, I honestly wouldn't play anything else.

I was expecting this to be a watered-down version of the Wii U game. But it's actually quite faithful in both content and gameplay. Highly recommended!

The 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors packs in the cart with tons of new content at a good frame rate for handhelds. If you're on the go often, this game is a great time waster.

This is a great game! I enjoyed it on the Wii U, and now I'm excited to be able to play it on the go. Although, so far, I haven't seen much difference between the 3DS version and it's Wii U counterpart. If I'm not mistaken, there's a few new side levels, but all in all, it's a fun game!
