Customers consistently note the enjoyable gameplay, praising the blend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors mechanics and the abundant content. Many appreciate the addition of new characters and the game's portability, although some experienced performance issues, particularly with frame rate and compatibility on certain 3DS models. The smaller screen size was also cited as a potential drawback by some players.

The game concept was good and it played well, but it was pretty repetitive. New characters and weapons were unlocked at a good pace, but the missions and objectives were very similar from level to level. The 3DS version was more of a port than its own game, as it did not add on to the original except for a few more side-missions. Overall it was a good game, but got a little repetitive after a while.

this game is a blast if you have a new 3ds. If you have a regular 3ds don't bother.

I prefer this game on the 3DS over the WIIU because u can jump to any part on the map during a battle and don't have to pain stakingly walk to one part on the map on he WIIU, then have to treck across to the other the map. Pick it up if you want to save some game play time and have the ability to jump across the map with a tap on the screen.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who loves to play hack-n-slash type of video games. This was the perfect gift for her!

Great little twist on a great game. If you love Zelda games or Warrior games from Koei then you will enjoy this mash up of the games. Not to challenging to beat but very challenging to unlock everything. The only thing this game lacks is multi-player. And they threw in a few nice little extras for you, too.

Don't believe the poor reviews from the mainstream media. Granted this should have been a New 3ds exclusive.Im amazed at how well this game runs on a New 3DS. Play in 2D and the framerate is better than the Wii U. This game is also packed with content. Highly recommend if you have a New 3DS, regular 3ds owners beware.

Great for Warriors and Zelda fans so long as they haven't played the Wii U version yet (the games are almost identical, barring the new characters). Some performance problems on the 3DS (and no benefit to the NEW 3DS unfortunately) but very playable and fun little game regardless.

How they fit this game on a 3DS is beyond me. I am playing it on a new 3DS and it has a large amount of enemy.

This is a really fun game, but it is NOT a traditional Zelda title. This is based on Dynasty Warriors, which arr fun in their own right, but just involve a lot of button mashing. The charm here comes from the Zelda storyline and the vast majority of player options with lots of customization.

This game can be considered the portable version of the Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U. It includes all previous DLC included plus new features, such as exclusive quests and My Fairy with an exclusive DLC pack coming soon. This is the best Dynasty Warriors franchise inspired game I've ever played.

Did you enjoy playing Hyrule Warriors on the WiiiU? Then you will enjoy pocket version of the game; with bonus characters and additional content. If you never played Hyrule Warriors; it is similar to the Dynasty Warriors franchise of massive fields of enemies to be defeated with button combos.

Poor graphics (resolution, textures, and weird glitches) hold this back from being truly great while simply being able to play such a complex game is remarkable. Each character plays differently and progression is easy to understand. If you can play it on the Wii U, that's place to play it, but this game is a close second!

The port of Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U does not disappoint. Graphically, it's easy to notice the difference, but the frame rate holds up remarkably well on the New 3DS. Levels have been retooled for the lack of multiplayer, but the new characters and missions are incredibly fun.

I have the New 3DS and havent had a problem with the performance that some online reviewers have but I truly enjoy the game and recommend it for any fan of zelda or dynasty warriors. It's super fun and the story is pretty interesting for the average hack-n-slash type. Fun game, good performance, lots of fan service!

If you love Zelda, Dynasty Warriors or have already played Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U then you will love this game. Some have claimed this is basically for the New 3ds only. It works fine on my 3ds XL. Sure it slows down a little but not worth buying a whole new 3ds for it.

I bought this after playing Hyrule Warriors for WiiU. This game isn't quite a port, but it's pretty close. The graphics are a little more stylized and fun. If you liked Hyrule Warriors, you will like it on the 3DS. It's also great for all ages, my 6 year old plays for hours
