This is a great movie to understand the origin of the song.

Good family flick ,,,showing the struggles of a young man in an unstable home life,,,and how he made it to adulthood with the encouragements in school, and beyond. Not only did he go after his dream,,,but also saw healing in his home life and with friends after being true to who he really was. Great movie, good acting!

What a great film from the heart. Saw this in the theater & had to buy it. You hear about stories behind the music of so many artists but after seeing Mercyme live, I had to watch this. From the struggles from childhood to the struggles with his father, this movie hits home every minute. Seeing the inspiration of forgiveness makes this a must have.

I knew the song but the story had a powerful impact behind the song. The uplifting music & God's love portrayed beautifully throughout this movie. Several movies that I have viewed did not deserve a five star rating but this movie , I give five stars. Great movie to watch!!!

Our family was very impressed with the acting and the story. Jay Michael Finley's opera training and Broadway experience allowed him to portray Bart Millard the creator of the song "I can only imagine" with honesty and credibility. The extensive amount of extras was an added bonus. Dennis Quaid and Trace Adkins fans will find this move a must see!

THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE. SUCH A GREAT STORY ABOUT HOW GOD CAN TAKE A HORRIFIC PAST AND BUILD AN AMAZING COMEBACK. HOW HE CAN TURN AROUND A PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY ABUSIVE PARENT AND SAVE A FAMILY. I WAS PRAISING GOD WITH EVERY SONG.

This is a great movie I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for help with life's struggles and even anyone just needing inspiration in their walk of faith!! A very amazing, strong and uplifting true story of what God can do in each of our lives if we let him !!!

Very good movie and acting. I love the song. Makes you think about Heaven and what is to come. Forgiveness is worth it in the long run. Jesus will forgive us if we sincerely ask because He loves us.

I was recommended this movie by my parents. I was not sure if I would enjoy it, but I thought I would give it a try. I am not ashamed to say this film moved me in so many ways. I cried 3 times, not from sadness, but because it was so uplifting and encouraging. I cannot recommend this film enough!

This movie is guaranteed to make you cry. If you don't cry you are not human! What a wonderful true story about the struggle of finding your way and longing for a relationship with your father. An honest testimony of God's power, His forgiveness and His Love for His children.

Wow, what a meaningful movie! I was familiar with the song "I Can Only Imagine", but had no idea of the story behind it. Just amazing - guaranteed to touch your thoughts. Will remember Bart's story everytime I hear this song going forward. Definitely would recommend.

This is a great family move, true story, If you want to see a movie that has meaning and anyone can relate to, this is it. This is what Disney should be, no profanity, no nudity, just telling a good story. Make sure the ladies have plenty of tissue, it's a tearjerker.

This was one of the best family type movies that I have been lucky enough to watch!!! It would be suitable, for maybe the older kids. Based on the true life of Bart's life lead singer from The Christian Band Mercy Me!!! One I will be lending out and watching again....ENJOY

I saw this movie when it was in the theaters & was moved by it then. Watching it on my home theater had the same effect. If you need a good movie & how to over come some of the hardships in your life then watch this movie. It will impact you in more ways than 1!

This is a very powerful story that many people who were emotionally abused as children can relate too. It's a true story about pain and brokenness as well as forgiveness and redemption. It pulled at my heart from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend this film.

This is a movie about a singer from one of my favorite bands . If you ever get a chance listen to the band mercy me you’ll fall in love with it as I have fantastic Christian ban . The movie itself was done well and well worth the 799 I believe I paid for it .
