Action, new great storyline, great special effects! for ole Frankenstein genre! Vampires & Gargoyles, good vs evil! 3D makes it even Better!

This movie was entertaining but not really groundbreaking. The producers of the Underworld series clearly wanted to add another classic monster to their stable having already used vampires and werewolves.

Excellent movie and very good quality picture in 3D I would recommend this for everyone

Seriously... be reasonable here. Have you seen the trailer for this movie? If you're looking for a high-quality, earth-shattering, heart-racing supernatural good vs. evil movie go get Underworld off the shelf or something. This movie promises so little but honestly delivered more than I expected. Full disclosure -- my wife and I sometimes crave a "not so spectacular" movie for a Sunday afternoon. Maybe it's a throwback mood to 80's flicks for us. I don't know. I do know however, that we have a shelf dedicated to movies like this that aren't going to make me try to hard to follow, but still be entertaining and interesting plot-wise. It's cheap... just buy it. And it's in 3D! If you ask me, that's the only way to watch a monster flick if you can!

As a 3D TV owner, I am always looking for enjoyable 3D Blu-ray movies. I don't see many in the theaters, except for the Marvel movies. I remember when I, Frankenstein was released. It kinda came and went quietly in theaters. Anyway, as the price was reasonable, I took a chance. It was worth it - for me. I like monster movies. I like sci-fi movies. If you like these genres, you will like this movie too. The acting was good, the story was original, and the 3D effects were fine. No complaints. It's a winner.

A lot of reviews have given this movie a bad rap but I actually liked it. Of course I like these kinds of movies. I think too many people get hung up on details of how the story has been historically told and don't open their minds to other possibilities. It's all fiction and for entertainment so just sit back and enjoy the special effects and fight scenes. When you overthink the details of how a story should be told you miss out on something new and entertaining.

I really enjoyed this movie, and though people are not giving it very high reviews, I feel that it was an entertaining film. No, it is not the next Hollywood Blockbuster, and no it is not likely to spawn a sequel, but you have to go in with the right expectations. It has a good (if slightly unbelievable) story, the actors did well with what they had to work with, and the special effects were stunning. As the cover says, it is from the producers of Underworld, and unsurprisingly it is reminiscent of the mood and tone of that film.

I Frankenstein I think is one of the better Frankenstein movies they’ve made recently enjoyed it immensely

I've seen this movie before in 2-D and enjoyed it and never thought I would get it. But now that I'm capable of watching 3-D movies, and since I found it for nine dollars, I decided to purchase it. Well, I believe the little movie that I enjoyed watching in 2D, I enjoyed far more in 3-D. Yes to me 3-D made a difference. I was very impressed with the quality of the 3-D. And as far as I'm concern, though the movie takes place mainly at night, with my set up, it look wonderful in terms of clarity, image quality, and 3-D! It has two audio commentaries, one by the writer/director, and another by filmmakers associated to the movie. It also has two featurette's, "Creating a Monster" and "Frankenstein's Creatures". I have watched the featurette's and enjoy them very much. But can't tell you anything about the commentaries as of yet. It also says it comes with a digital copy, but the sheet inside says that it's expired after 5/13/15. All in all I'm very glad that I purchased this 3-D copy! As for the movie itself, you'll have to decide that one on your own. Remember, I'm giving it five stars for the disk, and I did enjoy the movie.

I bought this movie because it was $4.99 and I recalled being interested when it was in the theaters. For anyone that is an Underworld fan, this feels very much like that type of movie, except instead of Vampires and Lycans (werewolves), the battle is between Demons and Gargoyles. Some good action, a solid story, and very good lead actor and we totally loved the movie! I have already recommended this movie to friends, and have passed the BluRay around to them.

I accidentally bought this movie in 3D bluray. I only meant to buy only on bluray. However, as far as the movie goes, it is good. It's a modern day twist to the classic Frankenstein. It has a good plot and some good action which I love. After buying this movie, months later I ended up purchasing a new 3D smart TV. So getting the new 3D TV, I wanted to try out the 3D. Because of accidentally buying this movie in 3D, I had a movie to watch and it was awesome!

Watched it, confused by it, and yet entertained. Am I alone in this camp? The critters following the monster reminded me of extras from the Wizard of Oz, strong on the huh meter to be sure, but high octane feature that never gives up. The FX and makeups are highly passable, and the always great Bill Nighy delivers the goods. May be just the ticket for a cold, rainy evening view....you,ve been warned. Recommended with some restraint.

Anybody going in thinking this movie will change their lives will be utterly crushed, but if you just want to have some stupid fun and watch monsters fight and stuff, then you've come to the right place. The 3D is pretty good on this too-- definitely adds to the action. The weirdest thing about this movie is they made Frankenstien's monster into kind of a hunk, which just goes against cannon... but it's easy on the eyes.

The film itself is okay, the story is meh, the visual effects are kinda outdated but all that adds up to be a fun cheesy film. The 3D is pretty good. Adds to the entertainment value

If you are looking for a decent movie, with decent action, this is great. However, before diving headlong into the movie thinking that this movie is a horror story or going to be a great action flix keep in mind this is based off a comic series with the same name. So as everyone knows it is very hard to turn comic books into full length live action films and get it right.

Since Best Buys had the best price for this movie and I'm into Vampire/Frankenstein films, I thought why not and I'm glad I did. The 3D effects were very good and the movie was entertaining as well. The action is so frequent that you won't be bored and the 3D effects are substantial enough that I'd recommend picking up this movie to add to anyones collection.

I was surprised by this movie and how much I enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect when I purchased it, on sale for under $10. The movie was exciting with a lot of action and not the run of the mill vampires vs. people as I expected it to be. No vampires in it. If you like action and supernatural/sci-fi type movies, you should enjoy this one too.
