More of a Stalone style action flick n the level of Demolition Man or Judge Dredd than a real science fiction film. Popcorn movie.

I’m a big Will Smith fan and I, Robot is one of those movies that you can watch every so often, it just has that certain level of entertainment to it. Similar to movies like Taken, any Fast and Furious, or the Jump Street movies. If you are bored and don’t know what to do, pop in the disc and hit play, most of the time I will find myself watching the movie and then start doing so minor drawing or Gameboy playing.

One of Will Smith's many scifi films, and an excellent one at that, based on Isaac Asimov's fabulous collection of stories. The three laws of robotics: 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law... Well, maybe.

I've always loved this movie. I think I can relate to Will Smith's character. He doesn't trust robots. They're not human enough, they don't feel emotion. Whenever I watch this movie, I get what they refer to as the "uncanny valley". The robots are too much like humans. They're faces are almost human enough, but there's a feeling that something isn't quite right. It's easy for me to not trust the robots and I think that's why I relate to this movie so well.

I remember when I firtst saw this Will smith movie and at first I was like what the heck is this! But when I saw it from beginning to end I knew I would always watch it! I had bought this about 3 times since my old DVD players would scratch them from being seen so many times lol. I love he audio tracks as it makes my subwoofer very happy! The storyline was cool too

Well directed action thriller with interesting SCI FI plot and CGI effects which were revolutionary 10 years ago. The movie still holds your interest and is well acted overall but don't expect to be blown away by the blu ray audio as compared to current action film thrillers. The blu ray is recommended as an interesting movie worth owning especially if you like SCI FI and have not seen it as yet .

50 characters might be alot of fill. I hve this movie on DVD then saw iy available in 3D, on sale, and I like some Will Movies, ,I couldn't pass it up. It is good in 3D, alot like the old Charleston Heston version, but a nice job of updating it. And it looks and sounds good on my big screen Sony TV with Harmon Kardon sound sound. It deos rock the house. That should be 50 Characters

Pretty cool movie, nothing spectacular in my opinion. Not bad though.

Love Will Smith as an accomplished and convincing actor, however this haunting Sci-fi action investigates the dark history of Robots and humans. Will plays Detective Del Spooner and this discovery of a conspiracy to enslave the human race!

I wanted to like this better but it's pretty hokey. The 3D isnt great either.

The 3D is ok and the movie is ok. It was $6 so I bought it. NO DIGITAL COPY.

I, Robot is one of the best Isaac Asimov books ever written. I haven't read it in years, so I really couldn't say how faithful the movie version is to the original story. But it is an entertaining, suspenseful film and Will Smith is always worth your time. Robotics could be very dangerous in the future and this movie might make you less excited about progress in that field.

I never knew this movie was in 3D - for sure worth watching again. The view was crisp and clear, absolutely loved it. - especially for the price too. I couldn't resist and had to buy it. Interesting movie - one of Will Smiths better ones that's for sure. We are living in a day and age where robots are being built - might as well watch the future.

Will Smith turns in a reliably excellent performance in this movie about a dystopian future. Terrific action, lots of surprises and the predictable warning against humans becoming too comfortable with, and relying on, Artificial Intelligence.

This "I, Robot" DVD disc has "set-up" in the menu. I chose "DTS" audio option and it's superb on this disc. The movie is a pleasure to watch because of the dynamic DTS surround audio, including the end credits musical score. The video on this disc is impeccable. This is not Blu-ray version, but the video quality is still awesome, super clear and bright.

This was a great movie in 2D... but even more enjoyable in 3D. Sadly 3D seems to be taking a side seat to 4K and the TV's are now hard to find. But 3D will be back (I hope). Meanwhile, if you have a 3D tv do yourself a favor and pick this one up. I got it on sale and purchased right away.

Again, as I review these first couple of movies purchased, I found that this movie and Jumper were not only fun to watch but the effects were great. I don't know if this is because we are so new to watching 3D movies or not. I'm always looking at reviews for good movies to buy and I don't think anyone would would be disappointed if they bought it.

It's been a while since the movie came out and the risk is everpresent for CGI'd movies from the early 2000s on blu-Ray. No worries here. The images are still really well done, the story is a cool future-world whodunnit, and the cast (particularly Will Smith, Alan Tudyk and Bridget Moynahan) are fantastic. A prize on the shelf.

Always wanted to watch this movie in 3D.Price was what held me back, when it was on sale i purchased and it’s even better than what I remembered, the 3D is just fantastic. Graphics really pop out. I don’t know if this movie was shot in 3D but with studios remastering movies they did a fantastic job.
