Slasher-revenge flicks do not come much more gruesome than the original I Spit On Your Grave, though the remake does come close.

If you a fan of old B movie horror this is a cult classic. With the original and new versions of the movie at a great price.

Excellent thriller/suspense movie. I will not recommend this to anyone who is sensitive to abuse, but will recommend this to everyone who enjoys a movie where an average person is able to turn the tide in a bad situation.

The first movie was set in the 80s. It was harsher than the recent versions. As a woman, I was ashamed to look at it because of the attack. Do not show this to teens and under. I'm kind of ashamed to put it in view of people coming over my house. It's like a dirty movie, I tucked it in my sock drawer.

These are two good movies in one. I liked the older version better.

The original was really campy and the acting was not good. After seeing the it once you never need to watch it again.2 stars at best. However the remake is intense and nicely crafted the way she exacts her revenge on those who wronged her. 4 stars and worth viewing more than once.

The first movie was intense and very realistic in dealing with the subject matter. The remake follows the original with slight updates to the story. Still intense and just as good.
