Customers admire the fast performance and large storage capacity provided by the SSD. Many appreciate the spacious case, facilitating easy upgrades and expansion, although some found the power supply inadequate for high-end graphics cards. The Intel i7 processor also receives praise for its speed and capabilities. While setup is generally considered easy, the lack of certain ports, such as Display Port, was noted as a drawback by some users.

First the negatives:
The information on this page are wrong.
1-It doesn't have 8 USB ports it has 6.
2-There is no DP or DVI outputs as specs above on this page states. There is HDMI and VGA (d-sub).
3-There is no picture of the back of the computer on the product page for a reason. To deceive you.
4-The information on Best Buy is half wrong, on iBUYPOWER site there is NO information.
5-There is no bluetooth. Wi-fi is meh. I use ethernet.
Missing information:
1-The motherboard is ASUS Prime H310-Plus. Although bottom grade, still better than what HP, Dell, Lenovo put in their computers.
2-Memory is expandable to maximum 32GB.
3-You can run 1080 monitors fine, 4K unusable at 30Hz refresh rate. Forget about gaming. I don't game so it doesn't matter. If you use a 4K monitor, run it at 1080p 60Hz. If you game get a graphics card. You may not have to replace the power supply.
Now the positives:
1-This computer is blazing fast. Credit goes to Intel, not iBUYPOWER, i7-8700 is a beast of a processor.
2-Comes with a Windows installation disc.
3-Good value when on sale.
4-Expandable, upgradable every which way.
5-The case is absolutely stunning. The most beautiful case I've ever seen.

Bought while it was on sale for $630 it was a steal even though it doesn’t come with a graphics card! i7-8700k, 16 ram, 240 ssd, it’s a fast pc! And the case isn’t for show no tempered glass but it is still very sleek with the white!! Even without a gpu 5 stars because the price allows me to save for more components!!

So far I am really liking this computer. This is my first venture into a mid range computer with good specs. I did a bit of research and comparison and landed on this one due to the price, 16GB of memory and i7 processor. The one thing I didn't pay enough attention to was the fact that this does not come with a hard drive, so I'm glad I opted for the bigger SSD. I will be installing an internal hard drive and possibly a graphics card if I get into gaming that requires one.
The only semi complaint I have is this thing is big, bigger than the gaming computers I was looking at and bigger than my old clunky computer. I purchased online so I was not aware of this until pickup. But I suppose this will come in handy since I'll be upgrading it in the future, as there is a lot of free space inside. I should mention upon getting the computer home and removing the packing I found this particular one did not have any internal packing like it is supposed to. I'm knocking off one star due to this. I'm a bit concerned that this is an open box item or may have damage from shipment if it's not open box. I'll be calling in to address this. Initially I had a little trouble turning the computer on with the design of the power button, but I may just not be used to it yet. It finally turned on when I pressed the button more on the left side. I will have to play with it to see if there is a defect in the housing.
All in all I am enjoying this computer, I spent most of the day on it yesterday. I'm not sure how quickly it powers up as I had the initial set up when I first powered on and updates when I rebooted, so I haven't seen how fast the normal boot up is. It does recover files and open programs very quickly, and keeps up with my usual 20 open Chrome tabs and 5 simultaneously running applications like a champ. I was able to download a new game and 19 expansion packs much faster than I expected.
I definitely recommend this computer so far but if you are planning on storing a lot you'll want a hard drive. I'm already using over 100GB after transferring all my files and installing a large game. I got mixed up while comparing other models because I had thought this came with a 2T hard drive. Luckily this is a cheap easy fix. So far I'm happy I chose this model for the price and power it offers.

I was looking for a desktop PC to replace my aging Q9550 core 2 quad desktop (yeah, it's been a while since I upgraded). The iBuyPower from Best Buy seemed to be a good choice for several reasons:
1. Quality motherboard (ASUS Prime H310-Plus)
2. 16 Gb of DDR4 (although 2400Mhz, not 2666Mhz, but coming from 800Mhz DDR2, will I notice??)
3. i7-8700, but not "K" so no overclocking - could swap out if desired. This CPU is great for my needs, I plan to run multiple virtual machines at once, and this has 6 cores/12 threads and will handle this task very well.
4. Plenty of room for upgrades - will easily handle a graphics card, but will likely need to upgrade the PSU as it's only 400w. 16GB can be upgraded to 32GB if I ever feel the need.
Some cons:
1. Although the case is cavernous - there is no place to install a DVD drive (I have an external, so a non-issue for me)
2. SSD drive is a WD "Green" drive, not bad, but Write performance is pretty low (87MB/s). I'll be dropping in my Samsung 860 EVO to replace this primary drive and use the WD as a backup.
3. There appear to be only 2 X 2.5" drive mount points (one taken by the 240GB SSD), although there are a few holes on the back wall that might line up with the bottom of a 3.5" drive.
4. Description and box state there is a keyboard and mouse included - only found a keyboard, no sign of a mouse.

I was looking to upgrade my CAD work station. The i7 processor and 16 GB caught my attention. The built in graphic card was the only downside. But I upgraded with a Nvideo GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card and the system has worked flawlessly. No bloatware installed and room to add additional hard drives. One tip, the built it wifi is just a dongle connected to a USB cord. I couldn't get signal, so I just unhooked from the interior, removed one of the PCI slot covers in the back and taped the dongle/cord to the exterior of the case. Now I get a great signal.

I bought this PC so as to get into my custom PC building. It did have some of the harder parts already installed. This actually gave me a general idea of where things go. From there it was a breeze to add a graphics card after replacing the PSU.

The iBUYPOWER tower pc is a fast powerhouse of a computer. The 256GB SSD drive is sufficient for the boot requirements.
I bought an external 4TB USB 3.0 drive for $69 and pointed My Documents, Picture, Download, Music, Video and Desktop folders there. So - if I ever need to change PC's - all my data is there.
The internal video is not bad for basic gaming.. like minecraft or fortnite. The unit screams in these games. Browsing and Office applications opwerate quickly.
Overall a fantastic value for an I7 based machine at 3.2Ghz, an SSD drive and 16GB of RAM!

For any user that need a simple, fast, and capable system, I would highly recommend this. The SSD allows Windows 10 to boot quickly, and the integrated graphics are fine for most non-gaming or audio/video editing applications. The case is sufficiently spacious enough to allow for expansion of an optical drive or graphics card.

I am really impressed with the computer and the computer company. I agonized over the purchase because of my doubts about straying from the "industry standard" companies. I have seventeen plus years of IT experience with a large state government agency and have built hundreds of computers, mainly from Compaq, Dell and HP. What convinced me was the verified components that ARE industry standard parts. My fear was that I would get a junky box with incompetent or sloppy installation of the nice components. I have seen crappy cases that had sharp edges and required three hands to put the sides on and poorly managed wiring and components that weren't seated or plugged in. This was NOT the case with this tower; the component installation was immaculate. The case was large, but that just gives lots of room for air to circulate and space for add-ins. I ran through the Windows startup routine and in just a few minutes added my virus protection and imported some favorites and was ready to go. If there were updates for the build I didn't see them and it has been flawless for two days. It is FAST, quiet, and runs my 50 inch 4k monitor very well. I have tossed around the idea of doubling the memory and adding a nice GPU, but so far I just don't see the need. I am happy with the computer and the absence of bloatware that other makers force on you. Good job iBuyPower techs and salesforce.

This is basically a gaming computer without the graphics card and extra memory. This was really perfect for me because in my old computer everything broke down except my graphics card and ssd. If you’re also in a tight budget for a gaming computer this is also a great option because graphics cards are cheap and same with SSD’s nowadays. Easy setup/easy install everything. Very very fast too!

Quick boot, fast browsing but no display port, struggles when more than 15 or so graphic charts are open which is better than a Celeron but still disappointing. Maybe the bottle neck is the WiFi card or the vendor server or maybe Install a early generation graphic card as their prices should be dropping.

Wow what can I say, this PC is a beast. Everything was perfect and the setup took less than an hour. Upgraded the power supply and popped in a 1060 6gb and man this thing is quite literally a powerhouse. Runs all game maxed 60 FPS+. I always build my own pc but found this GEM at bestbuy for $829.99 and man I really couldn't be more happier! Great job IBUYPOWER!

Can't connect a second Monitor

I got this for my office to use with 2 Dell Ultra Sharp monitors. The listed spec says this one has HDMI, Display Port, DVI & VGA ports. I selected this model because this one has core i7 and 240GB SSD, and I thought I could use HDMI & Display port to connect with each of the monitors. When arrived, I see this has only one HDMI port on the back. No Display port, no DVI, not even a VGA port. (Seriously?) There is a USB C port, nowhere in the user manual says if it can be used to connect to a screen. Checked the mother board company website (ASRock), they also don't provide much info. I can't use my second screen.

This iBuypower machine boots fast and runs well for the money. I added a GTX 1060 Graphics card that was in the computer it replaced. For the i7 chip, the amount of RAM, and SSD the price is hard to beat. There is mechanical hard drive, but that can be added later if desired.

This computer is extremely fast from boot - to - use. The SSD drive provides and almost instant-on system. I added a 4TB USB drive from BestBuy for file storage. Window 10 allows you to move your user files to the external drive easily. That way, this system is now extremely usable at a much lower cost that purchasing a system with an installed large storage drive. The graphics certainly work fine for an on-board graphics card. Myh child plays fortnite, minecraft and many other online games with ease. This is a great buy!
