Over the past 4 months, I was in the process of building a PC. I haven't been in the gaming PC gig for a long time, so I was taking my time, and making informed decisions. Having said that, the cost for RAM and GPUs began to skyrocket! Not to mention the GPU I was watching like a hawk (the GTX 1070ti mini) was on backorder for the price I was willing to pay. That is where this beast comes in: For the price/power/performance, this is a top-tier machine. It was ready to go right out of the box! The case is absolutely stunning with RGB all along the front, bottom and front. The case package runs at a cool 30C idle, and tops @ 80C running PUBG with the CPU OC'd using the MOBO OC utility. I highly recommend before doing anything else updating BIOS with a USB portable memory. Also, if gaming, utilize MSI Afterburner utility to increase your GPU fan curve. I can keep the ASUS GTX 1080 at @74C under full load. In terms of gaming, Intel processors are optimized the best (currently), and you cannot go wrong with a GTX 1080. I purchased this rig specifically for gaming, and it has by far exceeded my expectations! Pros: INSANE gaming performance! Runs PUBG smoothly at 60 fps in 1440p, and most other games at native 4k with high settings (Witcher 3 as an example). Responsive SSD/HDD Combo: Windows is fast and responsive with almost non-existent latency when pulling up apps. Put your top games on the SSD and dump all the rest onto your 1TB HDD. Plenty of space! Stunning Pro Case: RGB, tempered glass side panel, plenty of ventilation - all showing off that RGB glow! Cons: (there is nothing here that would prevent me from recommending this PC) I am using the rgb gaming mouse it came with, but do not waste your time with the keyboard - having said that, I didn't expect the packaged keyboard mouse combo to be the highlight of my purchase. Really it is quite heavy, and if you take off the side glass panel (you will have to remove the cool future foam!), it was difficult to get back on by myself without smudging it terribly. Updating the BIOS and GPU: It took longer to manually update, and the out of box drivers were terribly outdated (audio driver over 1 year old). I truly recommend this rig if you are even slightly interested in upgrading, or like me, jumping from the consoles to PC gaming. This will surpass the performance of the current generation of consoles!

Overview: I bought this computer from Best Buy three years ago in November of 2017 and have used it almost every day since. It was incorrectly marked as being on sale, but Mark, the employee who was checking me out at the register, was awesome and made clear that they would honor the price it was listed at. The Good: This is a powerful machine, even in the year 2020. Even though it only have a GTX 1080 graphics solution, it can still run most games on ultra while maintaining at least 60 FPS. Ray tracing is not officially supported, however, so be aware of that. The design of the chassis seems a little outdated by today's standards, but the LED light strips (one vertical, one horizontal) add a nice touch. The keyboard and mouse that is included are sturdy enough and have held up to much use after 3 years, but definitely don't have that premium feeling you would get from a brand like Corsair. Some of the ink on specific keys on the keyboard has started to fade, but is still functional. I have had 0 technical issues with this machine. The Bad: This isn't bad per say, but when I bought this in person the packaging wasn't very clear that the second drive is *NOT* solid state. Make sure you read what you're actually buying! It does come with a 240GB Solid State, but that is relatively small by today's standards. If you're buying this for gaming, be prepared to uninstall and reinstall games constantly, unless you purchase and install a larger SSD. It's also worth mentioning that this does not have a blu-ray dongle included; you'll need to purchase one separately. The Other: This bundle comes with a bunch of stickers that look like they are intended to be put on the glass. They look cool, but I would not recommend actually putting on there as the heat from the computer cause long term adhesive issues (mine started peeling after a while). Recommended? Yes - for those who want a low price introduction to a relatively high end gaming machine.

This was my first major gaming desktop purchase that I have done in a really long time. I was really excited about it until I took it home and got it running. It failed downloading Windows updates and got stuck multiple times on a "getting windows ready" screen on restarts. Additionally, the description said it came with built in WiFi networking but mine did not have that. Instead it came with a WiFi dongle. I wasn't too upset though because I hard lined it anyways. Needless to say though I was worried this thing would have to be returned, but after some online tech support, it was running like a beast! The TRACE931 can handle everything thrown at it and with high FPS on tons of games due to the GTX 1080 (8GB), 16GB of RAM and the 7700k 4.2ghz processor. It does come with a keyboard and mouse. Quality could be slightly better but that's being real picky despite the hardware that comes in this. The RGB lights are fun and I absolutely love how silent this system runs. The Corsair liquid cooling was a nice surprise. I would overclock the gpu and cpu, but I'm not comfortable doing that on my own as I don't want to destroy everything plus it runs fantastic as is already. At this price point of $1700, it is definitely worth the purchase, just be aware of possible inconsistencies. Despite the issues, I am very happy with the system and have enjoyed gaming on it so far so I'll be generous and give it 4 stars for performance. There is just a few things that ibuypower should be aware of. Great powerful system overall.

The computer has great specs. However once you turn the beast on and start it up, you will feel the inferno! There I one fan! The only fan is the one for the liquid cooling on the cpu unless you count the baby one on the 1080 graphics card. I have been playing games and the card has been idling at 83 degrees Celsius! I can game and cook a hot pocket at the same time with this rig.

I could not be happier with this purchase!! My previous gaming PC is over 8 years old and it was time for an upgrade. I was hesitant at first because of some of the negative reviews on iBUYPOWER models in previous years. After tons of research and seeing the high review ratings (4.9 stars) on this model (TRACE 931), I decided to take the plunge! Wow! For the sale price of $1,499.99, it is a heck of a deal. I priced it part-by- part (after purchasing it) online. I was not disappointed. I would've only saved around $60 building it myself. Mine came with the MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 Armor OC card which is a better GPU than the MSI AERO imo. This PC is quite, and powerful. It has handled everything I have thrown at it in VERY HIGH and/or ULTRA settings on a 43" Samsung 4k TV, like a champ! Crysis, Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Forza Motorsport 6 & 7 etc. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I will say that iBUYPOWER does not do a very good job on wiring these things when building them. There were wires criss-crossing and bunching up everywhere behind the right panel. I disconnected everything and rewired it securing it with zip ties. It looks neat now and allows for better airflow. I also installed extra 120mm LED fans to create the right pressure and air flow in the case. This is not necessary but the extra LED lights look good imo! I'm not sure if you will have the same experience but all I can say is I'm a IBUYPOWER customer after this!!!

I've had it for 2 weeks as of this writing. This is a powerful machine especially made for someone who doesn't want to build their own. Parts are pretty much on par with pricing of this product. I was pleased with the packing of the machine, and the ease of getting it up and running. It's speedy, quiet, and powerful. It plays all the games I've thrown at it at Ultra with out a hiccup. I did occur one issue with reconnecting to the internet after several million windows updates. But it was remedied with a full shut down and a lil dillying in cmd prompt. It sits about 2 feet away from me and I barely notice its there, the sound reminds me of a PS4 in loudness. Mine came shipped with a MSi mother board and a ASUS 1080 gfx card. Which pleased me. The gentle glow of the ASUS logo is very appealing to me. The ambient led lights are a nice treat and make it look very cool. The mouse it came with is decent enough for me and it also changes colours, which is cool. I don't however use the keyboard so I cannot comment on that. The 2 usb 3.0 ports on top are perfect for charging my controllers without having to get behind the machine. I ran Novabench and Scored: 2567 which is pretty high. I would deff recommend this PC to someone who doesn't want to build one. The price was good, I got it $250 off on a black friday sale and that sealed the deal for me and what I was looking for.

I was looking for a new gaming PC and did some research on this model - I honestly don't think you could find a better deal or build one for the price it was selling for. I play a lot of games and it's an amazing gaming PC - I'm able to run all games on max settings and it's so quiet. I would highly recommend you look at this PC.

The computer runs and looks great. Only issue I had was the hard drive cable came off in shipping. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. Check the cables! Msi Armor 1080 Msi Pro motherboard Adata ssd. My first Adata anything. Adata ram Corsair water cooler I added another push/pull fan and a case fan not sure if needed but read some reviews that said it did. I added another 500 gig ssd Nice case. Love the glass door. It looked so good I moved the tower to the top of my desk instead of underneath. I bought a gsync Monitor and everything looks great and runs smooth in 2k. There is DVD’s included but no dvd drive. Not sure why they did that. USB drives are cheap.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The Core i7 4.2 Ghz processor, SSD primary drive, the 1080 ASUS Nvidia GeForce video card, and 16GB of RAM make for an excellent gaming experience. The system does run warm, it does not come with great circulation when pushing the system, so I added several fans for both intake and exhaust, and that keeps things just under the max when overclocking. I also disconnected the LED lights (very bright and distracting). This may all sound like a lot to do with a new computer, but where else is one going to get all of this equipment for $1700 - Yes, I am very pleased with my purchase, five stars pleased.

I had bought a different computer from Best Buy, and when I got it home and ran it through its paces I decided that I needed something big. So I went back down, and the customer service was excellent, thanks to Cody and Stephanie and one other fellow I can remember, and I got an iBuypower gaming desktop computer. It was probably fast enough it 16 GB but I had already bought a 16 GB RAM stick for the computer I taken back so I put it in there for 32 GB which is crazy and one of these days I'll have 64 in their but as you know that memory is pretty expensive. I really know very little about this system. But I can tell you that everything is excellent except for one aspect I noticed that everything I've been putting on the computer in other words loading up my other apps it's going on to the solid-state SATA hard drive which is only 240 GB so I seem to be filling it up fast and the other hard drive which I cannot see is 1 TB and nothings going on to it. But I'll figure that out. This machine is incredibly fast I can tell by the speed that certain things I used to take forever to boot up comes on way way faster. This is a liquid cooled machine, I never thought I'd get one but I've got one and it's incredible I mean really it's like having a Ferrari for computer. It's just one of the nicest looking desktop units I've ever seen. And I hope it brings me many years of use.

This machine was so easy to get running. Windows was already installed and ready to go. Before I booted it up, I installed a couple of additional RAM sticks. It was easy enough to take the glass off the side, stick them in, and put it back together. The PC is quiet, the lights are cool, and it can run anything smoothly.

Only just getting set up but out of the box it is ready to go. Boots very fast. Downloaded Call of Duty WWII and it ran smooth as butter. Visually it looks good and the color changing light is kind of cool. The interior of the case is wide open and the glass side panel makes it easy to see. So far i'm loving it.

This thing is a beast! Granted it could have more ram but a 7700k with watercooling, ssd, and a gt1080 it’s begging to be overclocked. I am running PUBG and rb6 siege on ultra at 90+ frames per second straight out of the box. Just a side note the rgb lighting (with the magnetic remote) is bright and the colors are very saturated inside and outside the case.

good pc but would have been nice to have a cd drive since the manufacturer sent a recovery cd and driver cd. also the the hard drive was not connected. had to take the other side of the case cover off to plug in the terabyte hard drive. going to call the manufacturer about the recovery cd which was windows 10 pro. and the pc came with windows 10 home installed. the good thing is it has a 1080 gtx card and it is super quiet. if you go to the msi website then you can get the drivers needed for the motherboard. the graphics card is a msi.

Comes with limited cooling capabilities for a gpu and cpu that run pretty hot. I wouldn’t overclock if running stock. I had to add fans to keep temperatures stable for a small over clock to cpu and nice overclock to gpu. Gpu now stable at 69-70 C and cpu between 58-70 under heavy load. Been gaming on a 1440p monitor at over 100 fps. Those are not all ultra settings. They’re mostly ultra with some high settings. For instance Witcher 3 I’m getting about 110-130 with hair works off and all ultra settings besides 2. With hair works on I get like 78-90 with some dips to like 58 fps. It’s very nice hardware but do your homework and know what you’re buying. Also monitor temps initially to quell longevity concerns. All in all nice pc for the money but it isn’t a one stop buy imo. Some accessories need to be added and tweaked to run this system optimally. Once dialed in it’s very nice and I would recommend it if you have some extra money laying around to cool the system optimally.
