Kids always enjoy the Ice Age movies. This isn’t as good as the first one, but fun nonetheless.

Ice age collision course is another great movie. It has great graphics and a near story.

Other than possibly thinking the original film was best, just because of the originality factor, this latest entry in the series matches the earlier ones in quality and fun. (Watching clips from all five together, you can even see how the animation has improved through the few years since the first film.) The film includes the expected Scrantics (Scrat antics), a few new characters and old friends (outside the core group) from previous films. One character is portrayed by Neil Degrasse Tyson (a famous scientist for any who may still not have heard of him) and he also narrates one of the Bonus Features, describing the scientific accuracy (or lack thereof) in the story elements. One of the other BFs presents the entire story of all the films in just a few minutes. The 3D is significant is places, though it doesn't fall into the class of gimmicky. I think it really adds to the enjoyment, but I also like 3D more than some others proclaim. If you're not a 3D fan, though, you probably won't be buying the 3D edition.

Just relax with some popcorn and just enjoy the movie, especially since it is now in 4K.

We have all the others in the series. So, it only seemed right to get this one too.
