    The Gang's Back....

Well we really get to see Peaches grow up & become a woman while poor Manny have trouble letting go as usual. Although certain points were a little slow & left u scratching your head I really like the references that they used. As always Granny was the scene stealer. But it still holds that family always look out for each other especially when times are tough (or the world is coming to an end). Good lessons for any parent to consider when they're child is ready to take their steps out into the world. Definitely one to add to the collection.

I am a 3D enthusiast and so is my family. In fact, I only watch 3D movies / toons. I have all Ice Age movies and they all 3D. I did not count how many 3D moments are there to thrill you, but there are plenty (of course, i have a super home theater set up which creates an amazing experience). My kids and I enjoy this one so much that we watched it 3 times already and i am sure will watch many more. Fun, entertaining, intriguing, exciting, funny, etc... Very good cartoon. Highly recommend for families.

    Another outstanding 3-D outing

If your a avid viewer of the franchise, you should enjoy this outing. It's just as silly as the others, and maybe a little more, since they know what we like to see. As for the disk, theres the Blu Ray 3D, Blu Ray, Dvd, and don't forget a digital download. The 3D looks wonderful, with great depth, and in you face moments. It is full of bright vibrate color, that is clean and sharp. The sound is very enveloping. So as far a 3D disks go, this is a winner, and I think that you'd enjoy owning a copy.

I'm gonna be quick with this one, Lion King epic it's not, and if you have seen the previous installments, you know that already. So, in short, the kids should enjoy this one. It's cheaper than taking them to the movies that's for sure. Now, the kids won't be asking to see it again and again, like Frozen or other blockbuster, but it's in 3D, the effects were good, and well I paid less than $20 for it (on sale and using rewards), so it was worth it to me. Get this one if you see it on sale or if you are a big fan of the series.

Unbeknown to our Ice Age friends, Scrat , in pursuit of his elusive acorn takes him to outer space where he is entrenched in a comedy of errors that sets off a threat that could endanger the entire prehistoric world. This begins a non-stop comedy action adventure with the gang to save the day and their lives, including some new heroes and villains, that will have you laughing and sitting on the edge of your seat all at the same time for the full length of this animated feature.

Bought this for my daughter (3 years now) as she liked the previous movies. I think she thought it was good but I wasn't too into this movie as some of the previous ones. If your kid is into the previous movies they might like this or if you have the previous ones and want to keep building the set, you might want this. Overall impressions from me of the movie was it was okay but I wouldn't buy if it wasn't for the two other reasons. Good Luck!

Usually movie sequels are poorly thought out and are rarely worth buying, but the makers of the Ice Age movies just keep getting better. The animation is better, the story line is better, even the cinematography is better (if that can be said about an animated movie). I love that the voices have stayed the same through each sequel too. Well worth watching and investing in for home viewing. I highly recommend.

This shows the importance of family and how hard it is for us parents to have our kids grow up and no longer need us. But it also shows family still needs each other to survive...even with each others faults. And yes, the parents do not always know everything and that's ok....we will learn to realize our kids are growing up and we did indeed teach them well. LOL!

    Meh...

The Ice Age franchise started out okay, and was getting better, with the 3rd installment, "Dawn of the Dinosaurs" being the peak of the series. "Continental Drift" was okay, but not as funny, but in "Collision Course," it just feels like their creative team is starting to run out of steam. A lot of the humor falls flat, and even bringing back the character of Buck from the dino-filled underground seemed like a wasted effort on the part of the writers (not to mention the continuity issue with how Buck is able to come up where the rest of the characters are, given the events of the previous film; but that's just me nitpicking). Even the Scrat scenes were a bit lacking. Overall, it feels as though this is a case where they cranked out a sequel without giving it as much attention as they might a stronger franchise, just counting on the name to draw in movie-goers. This was purchased to complete a collection, and at the behest of someone who liked it regardless of flaws, and it does have its moments, but in final reckoning: meh...

This is the fifth installment in the Ice Age franchise. It has all of the familiar characters from the previous four movies all coming together in one funny new title. Scratch is up to his usual nut chasing, which leads to some not so usual adventures for our favorite prehistoric friends. We're introduced to some new characters along the way as well. Great movie!

A movie worthwhile buying it is hysterically funny all the way to the end. Skratt subplot or the non aging plot is just as funny as the regular animal's story line. Probably the best so far of the series. Love granny... so will you.

I loved this movie and it was a lot of fun to watch with my grandchildren. They liked it a lot and thought it was as good if not better than the other ones. It was fun to see how the baby had grown up and now was interested in a boy and getting married. If you liked the other Ice Age movies it is a great way to see how they have all changed and grown.

If your child is anything like mine, you will want to purchase all of the Ice Age movies. This movie was great because it had content that deals with science and it is always a good idea to teach your child science topics, especially when you can do it through a animated movie. They are more interested in watching and learning about it.

Great for all ages. Can't beat the price, got this on sale on Black Friday. Comes with Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy. Bonus comes with the very first Ice Age digital copy as well. Rather surprised. I would just advise if you are rural and have two addresses the shipping is not always the same. Just go with your PO BOX to be safe.

I have always enjoyed the Ice age movies, and I enjoyed this one just as much as all the past ones. Every time I think how much more they can do with this story line, they surprise me with a very entertaining movie. Video quality on the 4kUHD movie is superb, but that's usually the case with animated movies. Highly recommend

The movie proved that the writers clearly had no idea for a story for the fifth installment of this franchise. There were too many characters, not enough depth to any of them, but still we had the humor we loved from the previous installments. If your kids love the Ice Age characters, then I would still recommend this movie.
